The Vitucci Mafiosos #3

Marrying Her Mafioso

Rate this book
He had promises to keep.

“Protect her.”

Those two words echoed through my head at least a hundred times a day.

I would keep the promises I made and protect Allegra from every possible danger that could come her way.

Even if the biggest danger was her own father.

Since Scarlett’s book I wanted read Allegra and Dante’s story.
The fact Dante ask Vito to marry her make me curious. Now I know why and after read this book I absolutely sure this is the best one on the series until release Cristiano’s – OMG what was he and Any. I hope they will stay together the madman and sociopath.
Allegra’s dad, Gio, this man makes me desire how to do the perfect crime. How could he???
I don’t say her name but the woman who says things to make Allegra disbelieve Dante maked me so furious. Really. I wanted to much kill her for doing Allegra cry. Well after things come out… I… I think you will understand.
If we don’t know why she did that I will enter the book and kill her for being Al too sadly.
I think the finish very quickly but I believe is because Cristiano’s book that has the answers we don’t get here.
That’s was amazing work by Terri. I hope so someday it came to Brazil in Portuguese.

I was a bit worried about this read, because I didn't enjoyed the last book in the series that much and how Allegra was portrayed. I'm not a huge fan of shy, sweet and innocent h. I much prefer h like Scarlet or Anya. Which btw I can't wait for the last ones book. I'm excited about Anyas story. But back to this story, Allegra surprised me, while she wasn't litteraly kickass h, she still was strong and someone I liked. Most of the time that kind of crush, that she felt for Dante, would irk me a bit, but here it was put in that way that it didn't bothered me at all. It just everything fit. And when I say fit, I mean not only the crush, but the whole story.

I love mafia!

I'm never disappointed with this author. She always has a good story to tell whether mafia or MC romance. If you haven't read her books you're missing out!

This third book in the series will hold you captivated until the very end. A story packed full of promises, misunderstandings, declarations of love and so much suspense and drama. Dante and Allegra have owned each other’s hearts for so long but when those three words are forgotten to be spoken doubts get allowed in. Marrying Her Mafioso will have you on the edge of your seat, your heart in your throat and your emotions running wild. A fantastic addition to this series that will make you fall even harder in love with these characters.

I was pulled into the story of this book right from the start and that is where I stayed until I had read every single last word that was written, all the while I had a little mini movie playing in my head.
The emotions that each and every character go through, can be felt, some of them actually jump off the page and pull on your heart strings. I actually went through a bit of an emotional rollercoaster ride with this book, I laughed, I got annoyed, I got frustrated, at some points in the story I actually wanted to smack some of the characters and yer I cried a time or two. It doesn't matter how many times I will read this book, I know I will go through all the emotions again and at the same places, that is the way I am.
There are twists, turns and surprises all the way through this book, some of the surprises are large some are small, some you may see coming and others you won't, they all aide in making the book the awesome read that it is.
As I have stated before this is not a genre I generally read, but I am so pleased I took the chance as with every other book that Terri Anne Browning has written it is brilliant. I highly recommend this book and the two before it, so worth reading I don't think you will regret it, I know I haven't.
I have also found them on Audible, which is wicked as I love my audio books.

I actually really enjoyed this book but again I've enjoyed all of Terri Anne Browning's books and can't wait for the rest of the books from this series & Angel's Halo :) While I found Allegra not as confident & strong as her cousins (esp. Scarlett) I could understand why. After what she endured for those 11 yrs. anyone would be a shell of a human being sadly. I'm glad though that she found her inner-strength. It angered me when I read what that woman (don't wanna spoil anything by saying who this woman is) said to her & how she tried to manipulate Dante but after finding out what was wrong with her, it was kinda hard to blame the behaviour 100% on her. Seems like there was a reason for her to be acting the way she was, it's just too bad no one realized just how badly she had been hurt, maybe she could've been saved, who knows :s Either way I'm really looking forward to Cristiano/Anya's HEA, those 2 are AWESOME!! I cannot wait to read their story, something tells me with those 2 it may just be the best one yet :P

I liked this better than the second book but not as much as the first one. (Ciro & Scarlett just can't be topped in my book!)

Dante... I liked him but had a really hard time believing that he'd fall for the crap that ****** pulled. He's a De Stefano. He KNOWS how shady characters act, he's SUPPOSED to look at all the outcomes/angles in every situation... Why didn't he question everything? And to keep that secret from Allegra for so long? WTF, Dante?!!

Allegra... I liked her a lot. She was sweet, kind & very forgiving. I felt so bad for all of the sh*t that she had to go through, throughout her whole life. Her dad, her mom, the secrets kept from her by so many different people... Gah!

I wasn't thrilled with the fact that there was only one sex scene or that the ending seemed rushed/things seemed like they were missing at the end of the story but I am looking forward to more from this series. Cristiano & Anya gotta have a dynamite tale to tell! #fingerscrossed

I still don't love mafia books but because I love Terri Anne Browning, I had to read this book.

I actually listened to it on audible escape and the "Italian" accents weren't great. I'd almost rather the narrator not do the accent. But honestly one miss communication after another kept happening for our characters.

Allegra was very good at hiding her past. Honestly if I was her I could have killed my dad LONG ago. Not a chance in hell I'd become someones punching bag. Dante should have stepped up and ratted out her dad to the head of the crime family the second he found out Allegra was being abused! That is always the biggest issue with some books for me.

The h and H think they need to do EVERYTHING on their own and protect everyone from knowing the truth... but if you are doing things you aren't supposed to. You better damn well know I wouldn't stand for it! Maybe that is the reason I don't enjoy most mafia based books..

Mafioso marriage to unite the families of New York and Chicago:)

Finally got around to reading this book today after so many good new releases the last two weeks! Allegra is the cousin I’ve been waiting for and her story is here:) Allegra is called into a meeting with Scarlett and Victoria’s father - her uncle - to say that Dante has requested her hand in marriage. Her father doesn’t want her to accept due to his hatred for Dante’s father! It takes a while but she finally accepts his proposal when he offers her the one thing she needs the most, protection! Betrayal, passion, chemistry and love are just a few of the emotions that you will feel while reading this book.

Loved the story and I’m hoping Anya and Cristiano get their own book because they are clearly a perfect match!

The best one yet! I don’t know how she continues to write books that not only grab your attention from the first page but holds your attention to the last word but Ms. Browning does it time after time and the latest Mafioso adventure with Dante and Allegra is no exception. You meet both or H and h in the previous two books but you never really understand them till this one. Allegra always came across weak and naive but she is far from it. She has lived a life of hell and the twists in this book prove just how strong she is. Dante you can tell was meant to protect her and he never gives up! This book has the whole cast of characters in it and they don’t disappoint!

Gah! I loved this book. The emotion behind everything said between Allegra and Dante was just so phenomenal that it made my heart physically hurt. Terri Anne Browning did an incredible job in the development of these characters and I loved that Dante was so open about his emotions towards Allegra.

I don’t want to say too much as I feel that it would give a lot away however, I will say that you should definitely read this book if you like mafia books, heartache or just simply want an amazing read.

I have loved every one of these books. I was so curious as to what the story was between Allegra and Dante. Wow what a story it was. Ms. Browning has an ability to write her females leads to be so broken that sometimes we are unsure if they are going to survive. In the end, though, they always rise to the top. Allegra was no different! I loved her character so much. She is probably one of my favorites in this series. Now Dante was just fabulous. All these boys run a close race with my rockers!! Just a fantastic book!!!

Could barely put it down

This book kept me sucked in until the ending. Allegra's journey had me running the full gamut of emotions for her. Even when I knew what was going on, my heart still broke for her when she thought she lost Dante. Laurens character was creepy as hell, albeit understandable. I really liked that this book wasn't only from Allegra and Dante's perspective, but also Scarlet so that we could see what was happening back at the compound. The ending was great.

I liked the book. Although not of the characters that I was hoping the story was good and interesting.A few things I felt I could have had a slower and detailed development and the ending was abruto could have been a little more worked. Bug still was a nice reading and the couple worked well.

I have read and/or listened to almost everything written by Terri Anne Browning. I thought I knew how the story was going to go, but I kept getting surprised by unexpected twists. The romance was sweet, bittersweet and ended in a HEA that left me smiling.

The narration was well done by all three narrators. Highly recommend!!

Allegra has loved Dante since she knew what love was. Her past and her monster of the a father have made her life a living hell. When she finally gives into marrying Dante her nightmare begins. Watching the man you love blow up can dot hat to you. But not everything is as it seems and now the real test begins.
