One thing that I love about Traci Hunter Abramson's books is that they are full of suspense and crazy situations, yet the main characters are mostly "normal" people. I was so excited to get my hands on another Saint Squad novel.

This book has Craig and Sienna (from a previous book) as two of the main characters, but there are also new characters introduced. I loved the way the characters all came together in this race against time. Sienna is an actress, but she is very down-to-earth. Her assistant, Jane, and her co-star, Reed, have an attraction, but there are a few complications that try and thwart them, including a publicity romance and terrorists.

My heart pounded so hard, as I kept waiting for the terrorists and suspense to strike. I felt like a part of this story and was on the edge of my seat. The characters are easy to relate to and are likable (except for the bad guys, of course). I hope this isn't the end of the Squad!

Content: mild romance; mild religious themes, specific to the LDS church; mild+ violence.

Seal Team 8 is back!! I haven't read the last couple of Saint Squad books, so I was thrilled to get approval to read and review Traci's latest book. When I got the approval email I was so excited I immediately messaged a friend who also loves Traci Abramson because I HAD to tell someone.

This book is about Sienna (Craig’s fiancée) and her assistant Jane. Sienna and Craig's story is in the previous book Spotlight, which I haven't read yet, but I wasn't lost at all while reading this one. Sienna, her assistant Jane, and her co-star Reed are moving from California to Virginia Beach, VA for Sienna and Reed's new TV series. Sienna and Reed are pretending to be a couple for the media to keep Craig out of the spotlight, meanwhile Jane and Reed are really attracted to each other which leads to some fun logistical moments. This is really Jane and Reed's story along with more of Sienna and Craig's from the previous book, but of course we get to hear about all the other guys on the squad. Let the swooning over hunky Navy SEALs begin.

When Sienna starts having problems with her phone and laptop, Jane discovers a spyware program, then Jane's GPS on her phone gets hacked leading her to unknown areas of town . Who could possibly be after them? Thankfully the Saint Squad gets involved to help figure this out.

I was into this book as soon as I started reading--it literally starts off with a BANG (well a big BOOM!). I like that Sienna is very down-to-earth for being an actress, and Jane is not only her assistant but her friend. Reed was a really likeable character, and I liked how they all got together for dinner at night, and hung out with the guys in the Saint Squad. They all come across as normal people who simply have unusual jobs and talents like defusing bombs.

There's quite a lot of action towards the end and at one point I was wondering if the bad guys would go down in flames before Craig and the rest of the squad could catch them. Of course it has a great ending, but I'd hate to be Seth's insurance company. Hahaha.

This is a clean suspenseful romance. Thanks to NetGalley and Covenant Communications for allowing me to read and review this book.

Yay! for another book with the Saint Squad! I love this military based series that gives me light suspense and a bit of romance as well. What I really love about this series is that it's a group of friends and they are in every book, sometimes in the spotlight, sometimes in the background but always there. It gives the series such a feeling of continuity and family. I love it.

This book actually has two characters from the last book, Craig and Sienna, prominently in this book as well. Reed is a newcomer on the scene and Jane steps into the spotlight with him. I enjoyed the setting and I'm longing for a beach house just like Sienna's or Reed's- but without the bombs and stress.

This was an enjoyable read from beginning to end. I always love Traci Abramson's books.

Content: some violence, kissing. LDS fiction so there are some mentions of religious things- going to church and praying.

The Saint Squad is back! I haven't read all of the books in the series, but I seriously need to. I love this group of characters. They are a Navy Seal team and the comradery and value they place on each other is amazing. I really enjoy Traci Hunter Abramson's writing style, attention to detail, and wonderful characters.

This book contains terrorists that are causing havoc. They have targeted one of the Saint Squad's fiancee and her friends. The stakes are high and the squad doesn't back down. There are some pretty intense moments. The book contains action, suspense, and romance.

This book contains kissing, violence, and religious content.

I saw this book and thought I would give it a try even though it is part of a series sometimes you can pick up at book 1 as well as book 10 and not get lost. This book however readers might more to read the books in this series first.


The series is a light suspense and romance that readers can enjoy while sitting around the pool or curled up hiding from the heat of the day. The book is about military friends who come together in times of need. The story romance, suspense all written within a religious tone.
The characters are very much normal humans who are trying to save the world and their friends.

I can't wait to pick up the first book in this series to better understand book 10.

Traci Hunter Abramson has done it again. I love her books, especially books with the Saint Squad. There is just something comforting about them. They are smart and determined, and all-around great characters. Tripwire is an exciting rush. I love how the author writes her books. The change in points of view is fantastic and it really helps you get into the head of the bad guys and the good guys. The action is heart pounding and I couldn't turn the pages fast enough! Sienna, Craig, Reed and Jane are amazing characters.

Almost gave this one a two star - the overly sappy dialogue was so hard to get through! Like, she cooked the guy dinner & it was the greatest thing anyone had ever done for him?? It wasn't even her idea. Each kiss & hug was wrought with mushy over-sentiment. Outside of that I did want to find out what happened and endured to the end of the book.

Oh. My. Goodness! I loved this book! I loved the characters, the plot, the way the book pulled me in from the very beginning! The way Traci Hunter Abramson writes these books is just phenomenal, she does such a great job!

I loved that this book has so many main characters. You get to see what’s going on from so many different points of view, even from the point of view of the bad guys, and that just makes the whole thing easier to understand and even more mysterious than it would be.

There’s Jane, she’s the personal assistant to movie star Sienna Blake, who we first met in Spotlight. Jane is moving from California to Virginia Beach, Virginia, to be there as Sienna works on a TV show on location. The two women not only work together, but they’re good friends as well. I love how organized Jane is, she’s great at making sure things work as they’re supposed to.

There’s Sienna. Sienna fell in love with Craig in Spotlight, but because Craig is on the Saint Squad, he and Sienna feel that it’s best if she has a pretend boyfriend to draw the attention off him. That works out great, because Reed, Sienna’s co-star in the new TV show is there and willing to be a pretend boyfriend and it’s great publicity for the show. But it also leads to some confusion with Jane not knowing that’s what’s going on.

Throughout the book you see things through Jane, Sienna, Craig and Reed’s eyes. I like each one of these characters and I was rooting for a happy ending for all of them.

The plot of this one has tons of danger around every corner. The reader never quite knows who will be in danger next or where it will come from, much like the characters in the book. It’s one of those things that the reader can know what the bad guys are going to do next, but the main character doesn’t and no matter how much the reader yells at them, they’re not going to!

I LOVE these books by Traci Hunter Abramson! I can’t wait for the next one!

I haven't read any other books in this series and, in the beginning, there were a lot of characters to keep track of.
It got easier and I was able to get engrossed in it after that.
There's romance, action, suspense, and it keeps moving pretty fast.

This romantic suspense kept me on the edge of my seat. The Saint Squad is a group of religious young Navy SEALs who work together to thwart terrorism around the world. Craig, a member of the squad is engaged secretly to marry Hollywood star Sienna later in the year. They are keeping their engagement secret so his name is not in the press since he works undercover. Sienna’s assistant, Jane, is falling for Reed, her costar, but he is staging a relationship with Sienna to throw the press off her and Craig. Sound confusing? It can be. There are terrorists trying to kill the Hollywood star, and the SEALs are playing a chess game with them, trying to figure out their next move before it’s too late. True love and lives are at stake in this thriller. I liked the short chapters that helped keep characters and scenes from getting confusing. The action was well done and the mystery and suspense were top notch. The romance was okay, not my favorite. But the action plot made that an okay trade-off. It’s riveting, and the ending is awesome! Tripwire is an entertaining story, with a suspenseful beginning and ending, and clean romance in between. I haven't read all of the books in Abramson's Saint Squad series, but enough of them to be familiar with the characters. If you enjoy this series, I think you'll like this latest addition.

I was intrigued by the suspenseful situation Jane and Sienna found themselves in at the beginning of Tripwire. As the story moved on, the focus shifted to the budding romance between Reed and Jane. The pace of the story slowed quite a bit during this, and I wondered where the suspense was. Thankfully, the action picked back up at the end.

I’ve never loved the name Saint Squad. I like the guys on the squad, and their wives and families, but the name drives me nuts. I do appreciate that the guys on the squad are good human beings though, and that their faith helps them get through their missions.

I don't see myself reading this one again, but would say it's worth the read if you have the time.

Abramson has done it again! The Saint Sqaud returns for another romance full of heart-pounding and action-packed moments! When Jane and Sienna accidentally take a picture with known terrorists in the background they quickly put a target on their backs, unbenownst to them! While Jane and Sienna do their best to figure out who is after them and why, a little help from Craig, Sienna's fiance and the Saint Squad is called in. Meanwhile Jane is falling in love with Reed, the actor that Sienna stars with in this new TV series. So many things happening, so little time to solve them... what will happen? Abramson has produced another winner with this next installment in the Saint Squad Series! I received a copy for free, all thoughts and opinions are my own.

I just can't read enough about the Saint Squad members. Loved Reed and Jane's story and I realized I'd missed Craig's so I had to backtrack again. <3

This was a really sad book to finish. It's the last one of the series. :(

This was not my favorite of the Saint Squad books; however, I was still thoroughly engrossed -- in spite of the narrator. (She wasn't the worst I've heard, but it wouldn't break my heart if I didn't hear her again...)

I have a reading schedule, and this one was the one that came up next. I should have known better than to start it. When I start reading these books, everything else seems significantly less important -- and I have a ton of grading to do right now. The only thing that gave me the will power to put it away and do some grading was knowing that I had some laundry I knew I was going to need to take care of and I could finish it then. Yep. This book made me grateful to have laundry to fold. :)

I am really glad that even though this particular series is over, Traci Abramson is still writing books. It gives me something to look forward to.

The Saint Squad Series is a fun read. They are full of intense intrigue, adventure, action and mystery with some elements of romance. The characters work for or with the CIA or FBI and were inspired by the author's time working for the CIA.

I gave this last book, of the series of ten, only three stars. Somehow I felt it was the weakest book of the series. I gave the other nine books all four stars however. The Saint Squad has helped me get through the COVID-19 pandemic!! Thank you Traci Hunter Abramson!!

I do love the Saint Squad! This was another good installment in the series. It got a little sappy in parts but sappy is not all bad. I did like the characters and enjoyed the read.

It was wonderful to be able to read another book from one of my favorite series: The Saint Squad. These books are about a group of LDS Navy Seals and the adventures they encounter on the job and the women in their lives.

Tripwire is a little different from some of the other Saint Squad books. This novel doesn't fully center on just a Saint Squad member, this time Craig, but on his soon to be wife actress Sienna, and her friends Jane and Reed. Many of the squad do appear in this book, but a lot of focus is on Jane and Reed getting together. All of the action centers around some terrorists that ended up in a photo of Jane and Sienna at the airport. From there, the two women are targeted and it's up to the Saint Squad to protect them and save their lives many times. There's always good character interaction with witty dialogue in a Traci Hunter Abramson book. The romance is good and realistic. The action is anything from car chases, to shootouts, and chemical bombs. This book kept me up late at night because it has the "Just One More Chapter" syndrome woven into it's pages. Honestly, it was SO hard to put it down because I just had to see what would happen next.

This book is for people that like a combination of romance, action, and suspense. I know it's best to read the other nine books in the series first, but you could easily pick this up not having read the others. I can promise you though, if you do, you'll be racing off to read the other books in the Saint Squad series.

This one continues Craig and Sienna’s story from Spotlight and brings in two new characters to fall in love. This one is a bit of a Cinderella story as Sienna’s assistant ends up dating her co-star in a new TV series—the same co-star who is pretending to date Sienna. There’s a big misunderstanding here that almost derails the romance.

The plot is set into motion through the accident of catching terrorists in the background of a photo Jane and Sienna take at the airport. Of course, they don’t know what they’ve done, and they think Sienna is being stalked just has her older sister, Kendra, had once been (Obsession).

This one is part of the Saint Squad series, so there are LDS references and we get to see plenty of the team and their wives.

Best scene: the one for which the book is named. There’s nothing like triggering a mine to get your blood pumping!

This one is not about any of the squad members finding love, but the squad is definitely part of the story.

Possible objectionable material:
This series is about Navy SEALs and their missions. People get shot. People die. Also: kissing. Reference to faith, and particularly The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. If you don’t like religion in your thrillers, pass this by.

Who might like this book:
Fans of romance, suspense, or both.

Suspense, with clean romance; Series, but stand alone read; LDS characters/backstory
While this is part of a series, this can be read as a stand alone read. Jane and Read, Sienna and Craig, plus other members of the Saint Squad are in the throes of finding out who has it in for Sienna and Jane. While incidents occur, a terrorist group is in the US. The Terrorist groups plans, connected to an incident with the Saint Squad abroad, is the background behind actors Sienna and Reed, and Assistant Jane's trying to escape their hidden, electronic, and then on to physical threats. A budding attraction between Jane and Reed, Sienna and Craig's engagement that has to be hidden from the press, lots of back story. The suspense at the end with the bombs, the tracking, tracing Jane with her phone and computer, made for a suspenseful and intense read. I am definitely a fan of this series, and love the action in the novels. The main characters are honest, hard working, have integrity and honor, plus nice attraction and chemistry with the light romance made for a fun read. Always fun to see the other characters mentioned in the novels as well.
Can't wait to read the next story!

This was my least favorite saint squad novel so far. I will admit a good portion of that has to do with the person reading it for the audio book. I am not a fan of her. She also read the 4th book (Kal and his wife) and the newest one redemption.
She made Sienna sound like a complete ditz.
Seth's southern accent sounded like an old drunk man who hates life.
Tristen's Texas accent Sounded like a young drunk kid who can't talk at a normal speed when he drinks.
Damian does not sound Venezuelan, he sounds Russian.
All the rest of the squad sounds like 80 year old men. And all the girls sound like they are trying to be popular in high school. It was actually kind of painful to get through because of this. I miss the other two readers, but really just wish the books could stick with one reader and not switch so often.
Storywise is was okay. I personally didn't care for Jane or Reed. They don't fit into the Saint squad at all and their love story was kind of just thrown in there so that there was a story. They weren't even truly affected by the main story line. More just in the wrong places at the wrong times. It would have been better if it was done more like Jay and Karina's second book. No additional love story, just more on their story. Jane and Reed distracted from the actual storyline, didn't help it.

Really sad - Is this the last book in the series or will there be more??? Who would have thought taking a picture at the airport before moving to Virginia Beach would be a deadly experience? For Sienna Blake and her assistant Jane, that's exactly what happens. They are being targeted by terrorists, unbeknownst to them and wondering what in the world they did to have these problems. But thank goodness Sienna's fiance, Craig, a Navy SEAL, and his team would come to their rescue. Sienna and her childhood friend, Reed, are starring in a new TV series and all have moved to Virginia Beach. Again, all kinds of scary situations come about, bombs, wire trips, phone and computer tapping, kidnapping, and romance all add up to a great story and keep you in suspense. One thing you can learn, be careful what you take a picture of, you never know who is lurking, accidentally, in the background!!

This is #10 in the Saint Squad series. Each one focuses on a different member of the US Navy's Seal Squad of LDS members. I really like the way Abramson intertwines her characters in this series. It seems that each member of the squad has a wife or girlfriend who is the sister, sister-in-law or good friend of another member. Even the parents of various wives or girlfriends appear in more than one novel. By the time the reader gets to #10, it is hard to remember everything you've read about each character. This novel is about a newer member of the squad, Craig Simmons, who is engaged to Sienna Blake, a screen star. She is in danger and of course, the squad saves the day. The novels are very predictable, but fun to read.

What can I say it’s Traci and the Saint Squad! Happily ever after.

I love the interactions of her characters. I love how the books feed off each other and builds more dimensions of each of the characters. While adding in new characters that build the eternity of these couples and their lives. The one thing I can see is starting to happen is all the characters seem to perfect. They are good at everything. But that doesn’t stop me from loving the books Traci writes. I think she is amazing and has a wonderful way of bringing these characters to life and helping me escape my in perfect world for a perfect happily ever after. I mean, isn’t that why we read to escape and have that happily ever after?

Traci Hunter Abramson is great. Her books always have lots of action and then a sweet side that blends to make an incredible story. Terrorists, friends that have no idea why they are being targeted, and some romance mixed in. I love the characters and I think it's cool that she created the "Saint Squad". The writing keeps me turning page after page, even after I should be asleep. The story seem plausible (I'm sure it helps that she is familiar with the CIA). The other plus is that the her stories are always clean. Great read, I would highly recommend any of her books to the reader who enjoys Romance/Suspense.

A clean suspense/romance. I haven’t read all the books in the series but I like the characters, and you can enjoy the stories without the other books. I felt like the book dragged down in the middle and was paced too slowly when we were waiting for the suspense to work its way through. And dare I say it? Yes, I do. Enough with the kissing. All chaste, but please make it stop. Maybe I noticed it more because I listened to the audio? But I just kept wanting more of the action and interaction between other characters. I love me a good romance, but in this one, this aspect was a distraction from a fun story for me.

Another fantastic suspense and drama filled story involving the Saint Squad characters from previous books. Although the characters from previous books are in this story, it can be read as a stand alone and mostly involve Jane, Sienna, Craig and Reed.

I loved the fast paced action, light romance between characters, and the comradery of the squad. They work well together, trust each other, and do amazingly dangerous missions together.

Loved this book-highly recommend!

SOOOOO GOOOOD! I'll admit it was a slow start, but after the first 100 pages it pulled me in and before I knew it I had finished the book. The poor lady who was sitting next to me on the flight while I was reading startled me so bad at one point (let's just say at one point of the book a bomb is triggered and I didn't know if it was going to explode or not, so naturally, I was as tense as a coiled spring!)

The Saint Squad is probably one of my favorite series...great romance, bits of interesting action, Navy SEALS, what more could you want? Oh yeah...A series that you know is not going to have swearing or graphic sex. Love it!

Abramson is a great story teller, and I love that her books have overlap between the characters. I hope there are more SEALS that need a love interest...don't stop these books from coming!
