This is book 3 in the Hunter Brothers series. This is Shade and Cheyenne’s story. Slade is one of 3 brothers in this series. He is a DEA Agent in Texas. Cheyenne is working at a strip club as a waitress and one more job to support her little brother. She is the only one supporting both of them since her mom died and left her as caretaker. Her mom’s sudden death left a huge debt, one from her dead mom and Drug dealer. People think she is like her mom, a drug addict but that isn’t true. She is too busy trying to pay her mom’s debts and care for her little brother but no one wants to believe that. She meets Slade at the strip club she works at. They have a instant pull towards one another. Slade can save her and can get his brothers to help keep her and her little brother safe but Cheyenne is stubborn and wants to pay back the debt so she will be left alone for good. I love all the angst, drama, suspense, passion and love that explode in this book. Will Slade be able to convince Cheyenne to accept help and let him protect her? Will Cheyenne be helped in time? This was jam packed full of action and romance.
My Rating: 4.5 stars ***** “I received an advanced copy of this book from the author at no cost to me."
I enjoyed Cheyenne & Slade’s story and Austin was so adorable. Slade is a DEA agent who falls for Cheyenne who happens to work as a waitress in a strip club and the owner is a known criminal. You can probably figure out the story and wants going to happen but here was a twist that u nay not see coming. Great story and I can’t wait for more of The Hunter Brothers.
So this is the fourth book in the Hunter Brothers Series and focuses on Slade. He was always the one who tried to bring humour or light heartedness to any difficult situation which earned himself the title of peacemaker. Slade can quickly diffuse tension or anger with his wit and ability to put people at ease... something he'd found himself doing ever since his parents and sister died.
When the opportunity arose to break away from his family, he joined the military and then moved to Texas to take a position with the DEA. It was a job that suited his natural ability to remain calm and composed. It's a job that's certainly not without its dangers, putting away the drug barons and dealers.
So, like his brothers, he's a force of nature. Intoxicatingly good looking, with a sculpted physique and completely desirable. His sexual exploits however are a little less conventional. Not necessarily a player... but he's a sexual dominant with an appetite for BDSM. So when he gets invited to a strip club with one of his colleagues, it's no surprise that he attracts the attention of many of the women in the club... but he's not interested in anyone but the petite blonde with the pink streaks in her hair. There is an innocence and naivity about her that suggests that she's there more out of obligation than by choice. He's instantly intrigued but its his need to protect her that overpowers his want for her sexually... even though he does.
Cheyenne - she's a beautiful enigma. An intelligent, strong, young woman that has grown up in a dangerous world. Her mum being a drug addict and sex worker... owned and abused by her pimp, Fernando Sanchez. He's a nasty piece of work. The owner of the club she now finds herself working in to pay of her mums debts. Not even her mums death from a drug overdose can release her from his clutches.
Sanchez has Cheyenne at his mercy, paying off an impossible debt that no matter how hard she works, the payments don't even cover the interest the Sanchez piles on each week. It's intentional of course... she'll never be free of him while her debt keeps piling up, unless she relents and sleeps with him; but that is something that she will never do. Cheyenne knows that if she gives into his demands, that will be it for her and she will become one of his 'girls' - just like her mum had become. Desperate to make ends meet, she has to keep Sanchez from her door. She has a responsibility that she needs to keep safe above all else.
When she meets Slade at the DDD club she initially thinks he's just like all the others. Just another punter after a lapdance or happy ending... but she doesn't realise that even though he is intensely attracted to her, he has no intention of being dishonourable towards her.
After her shift a couple of undesirables follow her from the club with the obvious intent of jumping her. Slade immediately comes to her aid, pretending to be her date. His chivalry initially being mistaken for some kind of ruse to have her for himself Cheyenne rebuffs him... but when he walks away from her without argument or malice, she can't help but wonder if he's different from all the rest.
Neither can get the other out of their head and chance encounters spark further unexpected attraction... but fearing for Slade's and her own safety, Cheyenne's attempts to warn Slade away only make him more determined to keep her safe.
In rather unconventional circumstances, they end up having to spend the night together. The physical attraction between them and sexual chemistry and tension is electrifying, but Slade doesn't want to act on his impulse in case he frightens her away. However, when Cheyenne announces that she is a virgin, but that she wants Slade to be her first - he willingly takes control and introduces her to world where sex is not a forced or sordid ordeal to be endured, but an intensely pleasurable and beautiful experience. This initial encounter leads to a deep and caring relationship that neither of them expected but equally cannot deny themselves.
Unfortunately, Sanchez is tipped off by a mole within the DEA which places both Cheyenne and Slade in mortal danger. To save her Slade must either walk away or fight for the love he cannot bear to lose.
It's a great story with just enough danger and potential threat to keep things interesting. Slade is probably my favourite of the Hunter brothers because he is so much more light hearted and less intense.. except when it comes to his bedroom antics. I have to confess that his sadistic tendencies were a little concerning at first... and I'm not usually one for the whole BDSM thing, but if the characters in this series have made me realise anything, its that BDSM isn't necessarily bad or seedy. It is a preference and somewhat surprisingly the way that it is handled in these books makes it sound respectful and special. Do I think however, that a young woman who has seen sex being used as a weapon and a punishment by a dangerous drug baron all her life would quite so willingly accept Slade's penchant for exacting sexual pleasure through pain? I'm not so sure, but hey, who am I to judge?
I give this instalment 4 stars... great characters, enough body to the story - just wish it was a little longer to develop the relationship a bit more because I think after her experiences, she wouldn't have given her trust over quite so easily.
So far each of the Hunter Brothers has been into BDSM. But they shared that in Boston except for Blake who is an enigma. This was by far the saddest book of them all. Although what did I expect from the Hunter Brother who became a DEA agent? Cheyenne, was a sweet girl never get a chance in life. Losing one job just because the lady didn't like her hair color and piercings. Unfortunately, she desperately needed that job and her second job waitressing in a strip club for a drug lord and sex trafficker. If she didn't pay the exact amount he planned to sell her or use her himself. Slade knew none of this when he watched her. She thought he was like all others. He saved her from som leches and again. She realized he actually did care. When he drove her home and dropped her off, she and he had sex. She for the first time. Alot goes on that I don't really want to get into I'm a review. Suffice it to say there was alot of suffering for Cheyenne, For Cheyenne's mother, all the women trafficked. I am glad the two fell in love but there is nothing erotic about this book plus I guess I am not so much in to Sadism I guess. Different strokes and all! This is my least favorite. Still a good storyline just depressing to me.
I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
OMG, this was an amazing but beautiful love story about Slade Hunter and Cheyenne Lamont. The story held my attention, was exciting and it was so well done; but it also was heartwarming, emotional, and humorous at times. Cheyenne is a waitress who inherited her mother’s drug addict debt from Fernando. Slade Hunter is a DEA agent who is handsome and sexy who meets Cheyenne at the strip club that she works. Cheyenne and Slade are drawn together like the proverbial moth to the flame and their chemistry is palpable, reflected in every look, every touch and every word uttered between them. What happens next when he finds out that Cheyenne is kidnapped? Will he be able to protect and save her in time? Find out what happens! The scenes are well written, fast-paced and flow smoothly from one scene to the next with lots of romance while the strong charismatic characters draw readers in and refuse to let go. You will love this book, and it will draw you in from the beginning to the end.
This series just gets better and better. Shade and Cheyenne, and of course Austin, are an unlikely couple, he is DEA and she works 2 jobs to take care of her little brother now her mother has died. Add in that one of her jobs is in a strip club where the owner is making her pay for her mother's debt and it is even less likely that they should meet. But, fate determines that they should and Slade, the dominant like his brothers, soon falls under Cheyenne's spell and not only falls in love with her but discovers that as a sadistic dominant, he has also found a masochistic submissive. Slade has been transferred to Boston for his own safety and Cheyenne and Austin will go with him to join up with Jax and Cai.
The mystery of his parent's death becomes more pressing and the brothers begin to come together as their Grandfather wished leaving only Blake to be persuaded. I can't wait for the last book.
Slade is one of 3 brothers in this series. He is a DEA Agent in Texas. Cheyenne is working at a strip club as a waitress to support her brother. Her mother died and left Cheyenne a debt from her and Drug dealer. Slade goes into the club one night and Cheyenne waits on him. He finds her very interesting and wants to get to know her better. Cheyenne also finds him attractive and starts a conversation with him. Cheyenne does not feel she can tell him what she is being made to do. Slade gets a bad feeling about the club and starts investigating them. He comes to find out that there is a mole in the department. Before they can ride the strip club Cheyenne is kidnapped. In order to get her back the owner of the club won’t Slade to work for him. That’s not gonna happen, Slade goes to his boss and they contact the FBI and set up a ride. I would’ve liked to seen a better ending this one, it kinda left you hanging. In all it was a very enjoyable book.
It started and ended a little to fast for me but it was good. A hot read! I need to find me a DEA agent like Slade. I find adorable that the men in this series have control over everything but still find themselves clueless as to how to handle falling in love. And Slade is no exception. He can and wants to take care of Chyenne but still needs his brothers help to keep the woman and don't mess it up. She is strong and a fighter but she basically needs a miracle happening to finally be safe and get rid of the threats she faces at every turn. Slade is the one to do that for her. He is the one to teach her that she can count on him, to show her that her idea of what a man can be is not the correct one. That she has only been surrounded by scumbags until him. Plus he's also the one to teach her to know her body and desires. And what a way to teach her! HOT!
Cheyenne has been told she will inherit her mother's debt to her former drug dealer. Now she knows she has to do everything in her power to keep her brother Austin safe and taken care of. Even though she works two jobs most people think she is like her mother, a drug addict, but she is not. She meets Slade at the strip club she works at. They have a magnetic pull towards one another. He is a DEA agent, will he be able to save her and protect her and her brother? He thinks he can. Will all this be worth it in the end? Read to find out the story of Cheyenne, Slade and little Austin. You will love this final addition to the series and will want more with each page you turn, but then you don't want it to end either!

The third book of the series! This one was the most similar to the first in my opinion but so different at the same time. once again, in love with the characters and Austin was such an adorable and needed addition to the story that I would never have assumed would work as well as it did.
The ONLY thing I have to complain about with this book was the resolution, there's a massive underlying drug and prostitution corruption throughout the storyline and for me, it went from Chey being in massive danger to every 'villian' suddenly in jail very quickly with everything sorted. That was confusing but once again, another great romance and I'm sad that there is only one book left of the series. I'm hopeful it will meet the expectations the other 3 have set.
Cheyenne and Slade's story is a sexy addition to the Hunter Brothers series. Cheyenne is working two jobs to support her "family". Slade works for the DEA and meets Chey at her second job, at the strip club. Chey is not like her deceased mother who was a drug addict and prostitute, but everyone presumes that she is. When Chey decides what she needs, she gets that and more from Slade. The push and pull between these two are apparent and all secrets are revealed in time. Slade is addicted to her though and will do whatever it takes to "save" her, even though she thinks she is brave enough to save herself.
Each story in this series just makes me want a Hunter brother of my own! I love how they're all connected, and all finding love. Even though this story between Cheyenne and Slade moves quickly, it works well with the story. I love all the suspense and drama in this story, and even the little plot twists I didn't expect!!!
Each of these books can be read as a standalone, but reading them together gives you the big picture of what happened. The BDSM elements aren't extreme, and I think they work well with the story.
Please note that I did receive an ARC of this book, and the opinions expressed in this review are my own.
M.S Parker does it again. Absolutely fantastic stories that have you so engaged that you just can’t do anything else but read to end. I absolutely loved Slade and Cheyenne together. They have this amazing chemistry and go through so much together. Cheyenne is such a strong person and she has so much pain her her life. Slade is so kind and caring but also absolutely protective with his all out alpha male. This story has so many twists and turns. There is suspense, drama, action and of course hot romance. This is definitely worth reading.

I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader copy of this book. Wow, this is Slade’s story and boy was it worth waiting for. When these two meet, all bets are off, the man who would never get involved sees that fly out the door when he meets Cheyenne, he wants to spend time with her, get to know her. Cheyenne has been left with drug debt due to her mother, and all she is trying to do now is take care of her brother and pay off the debt. Life has been hard but she’s working through it and Slade might be the one to help in the end. Such a great book and the series as well. Loved it.
Slade, the non-emotional, go with the flow brother finds an immediate connection to a waitress working at a strip club. Little did he know she would change his life for the better and he would swoop in and save hers! The Hunter brothers are delicious! Can’t wait to find read about Blake and find out the family mystery!

I love all the Hunter brothers, Slade is bachelor through and through, but when he meets Cheyenne he is instantly drawn to her. Cheyenne was left to care for her little brother and was left with a debt that she is trying to take care of. I love this story, you read all the books as standalone but you will miss out on all the hot brothers. A mus read!!

This book had all the bones to make an excellent romantic suspense story. Unfortunately, it missed the mark and the storyline with average at best. I was very disappointed that the first time Cheyenne and Slade were together, it bordered on Prostitution. I don’t mind a little kinkiness, but I do not like any spanking which seem to be his thing. I am glad the author is carrying the mystery of the car accident throughout the series. It adds another dimension.
Wow! Slade is the "going to ALWAYS be a bachelor" until Chey comes walking by. He falls for her hard and fast, but doesn't even realize it. He just knows that he will do whatever it takes to keep her safe. Cheyenne feels the connection with Slade, but has always heard that you can't believe anything a man says. When they realize what they feel for each other, it's going to be awesome!
Wow what a great story! Loved Cheyenne was just trying to make ends meet, raising her younger brother. Her mother left her with some questionable debt to even more questionable ppl. Slade lives life by the law, being a dea agent, he is a drawn the Cheyenne as soon as he sees her. These two are great characters for each other. What a crazy ride they take u on.
Yet another great series by M.S. Parker that can be read alone. Cheyenne is trying to make ends meet while also trying to pay off her Mom's drug debt. Slade the DEA Agent walks in her life only to end up helping her. Rollercoaster of a book that was yummy at the same time.
I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.
I enjoyed reading Slade and Cheyenne’s story. Slade is a DEA agent and Cheyenne is a waitress at a strip club. Their connection is instant and Slade has a strong urge to protect Cheyenne and often seems to be her hero. Cheyenne tried to protect her heart from disappointment and heartache but can’t deny the fact that she feels safest when Slade’s around.
Kindle unlimited for honest review. Slate is a sea agent /ex military after his grandfather funeral and the stipulation in the will be has a lot to think of .two brother have mates .Cheyenne works in a follow store and at triple D strip club has a 4yr old Austin. When space meets her working at the triple D he just knew he had to protect her. Awesome story 10stars.
Ok, I definitely need to read the last book A.S.A.P. I need answers! M.S. Parker is driving me crazy with the Hunter family backstory. Will they/we ever get answers? These poor brothers . . . I feel for them. I love that we get to peak into each Hunter brother's life with each new book. I can't wait to read the next/final book.
His Hunger (The Hunter Brothers Series Book#3) by M.S. Parker. Four brothers. Four stories. Four happy-ever-afters? Well worth the read to find out. Meet DEA Agent Slade Hunter and down on her luck Chyenne for a touching story that will warm more than your heart. A Club Prive Spin-off.
This book kept me on my toes from the start. There was danger, drama, steam, lust, love and so much more. Cheyenne and Slade had some sizzling chemistry from the start that just kept heating up. I couldn't put the book down once I started.
Oh these Hunter brothers sure have me all twisted up and in knots, where is this story headed? Not the love part of the story, the story of what really happened to the Hunter brothers parents and sister, the suspense of that is enough to leave you wanting the next book.
This is Slade and Cheyenne's story, and what a roller coaster of a ride it was, from the life that Cheyenne was forced to live, to the jobs and things that she has to do in order to provide for her and her brother (whom she is raising as her son). Oh boy what a ride, and in comes Slade, her knight with a shinny badge, to rescue her.
I absolutely loved Slade and Cheyenne, and cannot wait for the final Hunter brothers book, I need to know the outcome of the accident and the coming together of all the Hunter brothers in one place.
Another great book in this series. This book is filled with suspense, intrigue and chemistry between Slade and Cheyenne. Looking forward to the next book in this series.
This is Slade's story, and when he finds the woman he wants, all bets are off. Emotions can keep us from moving on in our life, learning to express them helps us to grow and love others.
