"Chasing Daylight" was released in March 2026. It presents four memorable stories of love and suspense. The stories will sometimes make you smile, sometimes make you nervous, and the characters will touch you. The stories are all so different, and I loved writing them all.
In January 2026, I wrote "Bedtime Stories for the Ones You Love Most." A collection of ten short stories for parent and child bonding. Amusing stories with a good message.
"Living, Loving, Laughing, and Occasional Murder" is a set of eleven short stories and an introspective piece published in 2025. Stories of real people and the unexpected.
"The Senator's Murder" was released in July 2024. It is a story of murder, trying to solve that murder of a nationally known senator, the lives that are affected and the evidence that emerges. It's a story that features hard-working people, mistakes that come back to haunt, and how evidence can emerge that paints more than one picture. It's the story of a nationally followed trial that turns lives upside down and comes with some real surprises and it's the story of a massive ethical and moral dilemma. I hope that you love it!
"The Insiders' Club: Strangers in Crime" has been released (July 2023). It is the fourth book in the Scott Winslow mystery series and it sees investigator Lee Henry go to great lengths to obtain evidence of insider trading by an elite group of brokers and wind up a murder suspect in the process!
"Between Dreams and Nightmares" was released in 2022. On her fortieth birthday, Amanda Harmon is being interrogated by detectives and is the primary suspect in the murder of her lawyer husband. The FBI is also coming after Amanda because they believe she knows the location of money stolen by her dead husband. It's a wild ride as Amanda sees the walls closing in around her.
"A Secret to Die For," (2020), is the third book in the Scott Winslow series. When two executives in the pharmaceutical industry step forward to complain the drug test results being published are not accurate, they don’t expect to be fired; and they don’t expect anyone to be stalked, beaten, or killed. They have no idea what they will be up against for revealing a secret that will cost their employer billions of dollars.
Aligor Pharmaceuticals has a new drug. One that they say will revolutionize cancer treatment, with the possibility of rescuing many in the final stages of the disease. And Delexane is only weeks from FDA approval as the phase three trials conclude. The product is already generating millions of dollars with news of its arrival causing the stock price to soar. In a couple of months, the product will be released and millions battling cancer are expected to benefit. Good, entertaining read. Plot wants to make you keep reading even though the ending is predictable. Several errors in the writing that should have been caught by editor of proofreader. However the errors were few enough in number that the book was still enjoyable. I have read some books with so many errors that I was unable to find them. The length lends itself to a good beach read suspense book.

Good Story, Bad Proofreading
This books content was really good but the grammatical errors were really annoying. It took away from the pleasure of reading a good book. If you need a good proof reader for your books I can assure you that I could do the job and make your books look a lot better. You can reach me at dufkitty@cox.net. A Wonderful Moving Thriller!
I loved this book. The characters are lovable and exciting. The plot is like that of a great movie. I loved how it kept me entertained without any down time. This is a book t read for sure!

Great book except for the F word. It would be so fantastic if no one felt the need to throw that in. It was a pretty edge of your seat mystery, with really likeable characters! And it had a good ending too.

Lynn Kelly has a promising career and then she doesn't.... She is trying to stay alive and find a way out. The plot is predictable but it is very entertaining and a great read. The ending will make you warm and fuzzy. I highly recommend this book.

If you're looking for an action-packed, easy-to-read thriller, this is the book for you. This is the story of a young woman who takes a bag of money in an impulsive moment and sets off a wild chase that is filled with a host of dangerous situations and threats from all sides. It's an wild ride that made an enjoyable read. Thumbs up, Mr. Warren!
