These books always seem to have wonderful messages in them. I know sometimes I have to sit back and let God be in control, not me. After all, he knows our needs before we do. What a wonderful book!

Flowers for Rachel
By Kathleen Fuller

It's been a long time since I've read or listened to an Amish book! This is part of an audiobook boxset, and without Tricia Goyer's name amongst the authors, I probably wouldn't have bought it!
This one was comical and tender! Such awkward shy love, yet pure and hopeful!

Such a lovely story of compassion, friendship and love. Such a great idea of Gideon sister while I didn’t go as he’d planned it all worked out in the end. I loved hearing about the flowers in garden and the meanings of each one.

Another good Amish read. Frustrating at first, wanted to shake the main characters.

Ladies!! Do you need something for the man in your life to get the hint that you want him to romance you? Then Flowers for Rachael: An Amish Garden Novella is your answer; it is a short story for him to read. All the stories in this collect, An Amish Garden, may also help. Although, this one really gets to the point and you yourself can even do this, too.

I loved this short story (Flowers for Rachael: An Amish Garden Novella by Kathleen Fuller)! I was so engrossed by this story that I did not want to see it end. More importantly I wanted to know what happened to the one animal in the story; I know, I know an animal c'mon you are to be more worried about what happens to the main characters who are human.

In Flowers for Rachel, we meet Rachel and Gideon and watch them struggle to understand what the other one feels. Rachel also battles with feelings of worry for her grandfather and she tries hard to keep him safe and healthy. When tragedy strikes her garden, which is her place of refuge and source of income, it is hard to open up and trust Gideon to help her rebuild. Will two shy people be able to find love together and trust God in the process?

Flowers for Rachel is part of the novella collection titled An Amish Garden. In each novella, a garden is central to the storyline. The themes of hope and healing, and learning to let go and trust in God completely are woven with sweet romantic stories to make for a very enjoyable collection. I truly enjoyed every single story.

I received a complimentary copy of An Amish Garden in exchange for an honest review, which I have given.

I really identified with Rachael, her main existence is based off her being a caregiver for her granddad, her soul enjoyment is her garden and her crush on her neighbor Gideon. I truly loved this little story and it being my first story by Fuller, it was a treat indeed.
