Earl Nightingale was an American motivational speaker and author, known as the "Dean of Personal Development." He was the voice in the early 1950s of Sky King, the hero of a radio adventure series, and was a WGN radio show host from 1950 to 1956. Nightingale was the author of the Strangest Secret, which economist Terry Savage has called “…One of the great motivational books of all time“.
The book is a highly edited version of the audio program. Get the full 16 hour audiobook instead. This is one of the most incredible, idea rich programs ever created. Listen closely and take notes.
A classic but forgotten self development series recorded by Eark Nightingale in the early 1970's. I listened to an online copy of the original cassette version (or radio broadcasts?) recording by Earl himself. I just found out that Earls company is bringing this back but in a paperback version. I highly, HIGHLY recommend anyone reading this to preorder the paperback from bookdepository, or go to youtube and listen to the original recordings, as The Direct Line has been my best read/listen to date.
18 hours of non-stop powerful information all combining into some very deep but easy to understand thoughts HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Two months to go through this taking notes in the process!
