The book is a highly edited version of the audio program. Get the full 16 hour audiobook instead. This is one of the most incredible, idea rich programs ever created. Listen closely and take notes.

A classic but forgotten self development series recorded by Eark Nightingale in the early 1970's.
I listened to an online copy of the original cassette version (or radio broadcasts?) recording by Earl himself. I just found out that Earls company is bringing this back but in a paperback version. I highly, HIGHLY recommend anyone reading this to preorder the paperback from bookdepository, or go to youtube and listen to the original recordings, as The Direct Line has been my best read/listen to date.
