Her cooking is great and even Luke his partner loves the cooking. The ladies are all upset he is now married so maybe they will turn to Luke. As time goes on Robert and Marianne grow with each other and start to care for each other.
A nice story of both of the characters starting over. Seeing them come together and learn to trust and love was nice. A sweet clean story.
This is my first go round with this author. I have to say I expected more. The book had so much potential and started out well. I was sucked in from the first page. It went too quickly. There was so much fleshing out that could have been done between Robert and Marianne. They barely knew each other and had some personal issues to work through. Instead of taking the time to build the relationship, the author skipped right to falling in love and their issues were pushed to the back burner. I liked the story. I just wish there had been more. There were some typos. It was clean. No sex. But there were a few swear words.
A cute little romance. Marianne is a widow with a young boy. She was staying with her brother-in-law, whom she didn't care for and her son had grown afraid of. In order to get away, she answered an ad for a mail order bride, not mentuoning her son. Can she win her new husband over?
Sweet short clean romance. Marianne needed to escape her brother in law so she answered an ad for a mail order bride. Except she doesn't mention having a son. Robert just wants the women n town to back off. He wasn't looking for an instant family.
Her brother in law scared her. It had been a while that her husband had died leaving her to care for her son in his uncles house. But the generosity ended as he slapped her and demanded more of her
