Aileen Foster, poor, orphaned, musically gifted, never imagined her life could change so much, so fast, but getting a job as interpreter for boyband UK Crush pitched her headfirst into tumult and a glamorous life she never thought she’d have. Now, engaged to band member Theo Shelley, and having survived her audition to Hamilton Conservatory in Manhattan, she’s off to the Bahamas with the boys while they write their new album. Life has never been easy for her, but she’s trying.
I was born in Japan, raised in central California, and am now lucky enough to live in New York City. I've wanted to write for so long, and decided to celebrate my birthday by finally doing it! Anyone, everyone who wants to, DO IT. Write what you love, what makes you happy, otherwise what's the point? There's nothing like getting a tearful text from an advance copy beta reader asking, "Why?? Why did you do that to her?!" Being a substitute teacher for fifteen years gave me some good ideas for what today's younger readers would enjoy, and I hope you do :o)

Three books in and I'm yet to be disappointed! Before the Tempest is an absolutely indispensable portion of the UK Crush tale. Moving along with the romance of Tink and Teddy is emotionally enchanting. Now engaged, and after winning a very prestige classical music scholarship, Aileen faces a whole new set of obstacles in life.
I love all the drama in this one!! In my opinion it's neck and neck with book one, and is much better than 2 and 3. It's rare to be able to keep the story flowing and to create such a bang three books in!! Tani executed quite the whirlwind of admiration, love, and obsession. She is able to mix up the couple's bedroom escapades in a way that keeps you as the reader wanting more. It's far from droll, to put it lightly! *drools*
My hat is also off to Tani with this one in terms of intense scenes of jealousy, sabotage, and rage. The fans of our favorite group of gorgeous boy/men are at an all time high in erratic action - As is the craziness of past relationships(ish)... Pushing the limits with ups and downs in a relationship, especially such a high profile relationship, is really a strong point for Tani in Before the Tempest!
Another aspect that I love about this book is the music standpoint. The entire series IS after all written around musicians. Up until this point the main focus (in terms of tunes) has been all behind the scenes with an occasional explanation of concerts and piano practice/performance. I found it very fulfilling to learn more about the back end of the music process. Especially since the band decides to make some changes.
I loved Before the Tempest, and I can't wait to read the next book in this series!
Life has changed drastically for Aileen “Tinkerbell” Foster. Mainly due to her love affair with one of the most famous and coveted men on Earth, but also because Tink has grown into herself. She finally feels good in her own skin and with her sexuality. She’s learned how to love herself for who she is, and because of all this, she has never been happier.
This installment is all about Tink coming to terms with the good and bad parts of being in the spotlight. She’s nailed her audition, and everything she has dreamed of is finally coming into fruition. Life is sublime!
Unfortunately, just as Tink thinks she’s getting the hang of everything, maybe even enjoying the perks of fame, the worst thing imaginable happens and it changes her life forever.
This is a really great read! It’s very sexy like the others, but things are happening. The relationship between Tink and Theo has solidified and their plans for their life together are coming together. There are of course a few hiccups, but that just makes their story a little more dramatic for us. The writing is excellent, which I’ve now come to expect from the author and I really enjoyed this part of the series… that is, until I wasn’t anymore! Tink’s story takes such an unexpected turn, it’s quite shocking.
Tani’s series gets better with every book and even though, contemporary or new adult romance is usually last on my list, I’ve really enjoyed it. If you love romance, especially “rock star” romance, you have to read it!
What????? Where was Tink taken to or what was she given that could possibly make her ask who Geth, Ro, Matt and especially Teddy is? Oh no, I'm reviewing from the bottom, sorry about that.
First things first! Reality is beginning to set in after Theo's mega proposal hit the social media. The fans aren't taking the news too well, and neither is management taking his decision to transfer all he owns to both their names, considering how sudden the decisions was and that they weren't even married yet.
I love that Tani wrote about the reaction from the "wendies" , fans that thought the whole thing was stage. Truth is, some of us have either a celebrity, a colleague, classmate, neighbour or even church member we have a crush on. And there are some celebrity engagement we don't really believe and hope they spit up. So thumbs up Tani.
Before the Tempest! Yikes! We are in the Bahamas, to work they say....but I called it a pre-honeymoon. My guys came to do what a boyband should be doing, write songs. We got to know the work that goes into music making. With the help of Tink's presence, they changed direction, as according to her, they are no longer teenage boy but full fleshed men. Ofcourse, management didn't find it funny, but our Wiry Bitchstatic was involved, which meant that "no" wasn't an option!!
Now I understand why Tink gets jealous when she isn't the centre of attention for the guys, because at this point in the series, I'm in love with all four of the UK Crush. No offence Theo darling 😉. Valentines day was superb, Teddy as the sweetheart he is, the MFG song was 😍.
Back to my first paragraph... Tani, you have kept me sitting on the edge of my bed, can't wait to see..."read" What's up with Tink.....
Like the others, I love this book too. Great job Tani, thank you for sharing your gift❣.
Once again I can truly say that I have really enjoyed the book. It took me to new heights with its wording and beautiful details. Not only did this book keep me on the edge of my seat but it also had me entranced by the the boys and Tinker Bell once agian. If you are looking for a book filled with amazing suprises then I know you've come to the perfect place. I would recommend this book to anyone, not only is this book diverse but it's really an eye opener, filled with secrets, mystery, love, music, and just overall beautiful characters. But there are also ups and downs that always get resolved in a expressive nice way .Enjoy the book I know I did.💓
The fourth instalment shows how different Tinker Bell’s life is compared to book one.
She is engaged to the most eligible bachelor. She aced her audition and is living high. She has also grown so much into herself compared to when she was known as Alieen ‘the mouse’ She is more comfortable in her skin and loves the person that she is.
The book was filled with more drama and spice which I enjoyed. Tink is going to see new side of what it feels to be other the spotlight.
A beautiful continuance of the book series about Tink and her 4 UK Krush boys! I've laughed and cried with them. It's a story of beautiful friendships, nasty exes and a combination of lovely and horrible fans. They had plenty of fun with a wonderful time in the Bahamas, and the making of 2 albums. To Greece for an evening of fun- Tink you lucky girl! Such a treat for a birthday meal. This is a book series I love. Thanks Tani. Can't wait to start on the next book.
This book is the thing, I was never a fan of adult romance until I started reading ukc series. It's just getting better and better, I like the fact that Tink is starting to love herself for who she is and getting used to the life of Fame. And Tani I love reading her books because I get to learn new word. I can't wait to read the rest of the series. I love you, thank you for writing this book.
I read this book all today, I actually couldn't put it down. I'm having to reiterate what I've said in my previous reviews of this series, as I am very much running out of words to express my feelings upon the series. Thank you author, for writing these books, I love them so so so much.
I'm not very good with words but I'll try to make this review somewhat good lol. This book is absolutely amazing. The way Tani writes is truly beautiful. The way she conveys the love between Birdie and Teddy astonishing. The hurt, love, joy, etc are all beautifully portrayed.
*This book was sent to me for free in exchange for an honest review. I give this book 4.5 amazing stars out of 5!*
Wow. That’s all I can say. And maybe “ohmygoodenesswhattheheckTaniwhathaveyoudone?” But that’s at the end. Let’s start at the beginning.
The story starts off in New York but a good chunk takes place in the Bahamas and then Teddy’s home in London. I absolutely loved the part in the Bahamas. It was just a pure joy to read and sounded like it would be one heck of a trip. What I loved most about it was the focus on music. These guys are a boy band, but I think this was the first book in the series where there was an inside look at the process. It was really interesting and tied everything together nicely!
I think this was my favourite book so far. I feel like it’s when I really began to fall in love with Teddy (if you’ve read my other reviews you’d know that I fall in love with a different boy each time. I still really love Gethin!) and it was great to see Tinker Bell’s transformation into being more confident.
In addition to the music, another thing this book got ridiculously spot on was the backlash from the fans. I feel like most people who write books with famous characters include the complications that come from the media, but Tani takes it one step further to include aspects that are very, very real. Fan conspiracy theories, fans who refuse to believe that things are real and disagreements with management. It made the books seem much more realistic and current.
The plot doesn’t have too many complications between Tinker Bell and Teddy or the rest of the boys. They’re still ridiculously in love with lots of intimate scenes. It’s all a perfect wish-fulfillment scenario.
Now…the end. Something bad happens at the end, and while we don’t know exactly what it is, there’s enough information to piece something together. I’m actually nervous to read the next book, because I don’t know how things will play out. Is this the end of Tinker Bell and UK Crush as we know it? There’s three more books left that can answer that question, and I can’t wait to read them.
We’ve officially went from a nice, enjoyable light read to a heavily emotionally-invested series! Bravo!
I love all UK Crush series and this book included. I like all the characters and those who love smutty romance but not too heavy reads must try reading this book.
These books are addictive. Once you start, it's very hard to stop! One would think that it would get boring at book 4, but am still hooked! I need more! Tink's life is just awesome! Her friends love her, her fiancée adores her, the world loves her! I sometimes wish she was real so that I can tell her that I love her! She's just awesome! So in this book: 1. She moves to the Bahamas with the boys. 2. She celebrates her birthday in Greece; I just want to be her! 3. She helps the boys write their songs and grow in their music career, not just teen songs anymore! 4. She opens a social media account, finally! 5. She becomes wiser, smarter, more confident and much prettier. I feel like we, Tink and I are growing together.
Plus the book ends with a major cliff hanger, I feel like I can't continue with life if I don't read the next book! That's how addictive this series is! In short, these books are brilliant!
This book start where the 3rd book ends. Theo and Tinker engaged finally and very happy together. The trip to Bhamas, Boy’s trouble with management and the new turn in the music the band created. This book explores the side of Boy bands life. Their troubles, there work and there issues. And most important part of this book for me is to come across the problems the celebrity face because of social media. This book shows the both side of coins. The love celebrity get and the hatred they face. It’s shows there is not always we get flowers in life. Somewhere out there thorn’s also place in our way. This sweet and sore book of the series because in the end it leaves you with a something bad happen feeling. At the end there is cliff-hanger and something happens there...scared and excited both to read the next book in the series.
