Kevin and Shalonda are back and still can’t seem to get it together. Lucky for them, they have Mrs. Scruggs right there fighting for their family. She sees something in them and is not willing to give up on the two so easily. Shalonda is not so sure and is refusing to have anything to do with Kevin. With her constantly denying him, he helplessly falls back into his old ways and everything that comes along with that territory. Like before, it doesn’t take long for Kevin’s infidelities to start to surface. His devious actions cause Shalonda to run crying to Randy. Unfortunately, he is too caught up in his own little secret love affair to be there for her the way she needs him to be. Feeling abandoned by her cousin and betrayed by Kevin’s cheating, Shalonda is left open. This gives a new man an opportunity to step in and help her out. The interaction between the pair makes Kevin jealous and aware of what he may be losing. It definitely opens his eyes, but is it enough to make him faithful? Kevin reacts like any scorn man and things begin to spiral out of control, including demons popping up from the past. Now, not only are hearts at stake but lives as well. They all quickly discover who is truly down for them and together they engage in a battle that will leave some devastated. Dive into this story and see who will survive this crazy turn of events. This finale will not only have you screaming to the top of your lungs, it will have you in tears as well.
Part 2 had even more drama as Kevin and Shalonda went back and forth as admirers and exes interfered with their relationship. Kells was truly off his rocker. Storyline held my attention as I completed this part in 1 sitting. Good conclusion to this 2 book series
I know it all turned out good in the end but I do not like shalonda. She was too bitter and went to far. Kevin was wrong for cheating but taking out a restraining was too much. Not letting him see his son was out of line. Her and Kevin were not together so he was free to do as he pleaded. She had no right to be mad she pushed him to mess with other chicks. Then she moved in dude house and has him around Kevin's son. That was dirty! So I felt no remorse when Kell got crazy. That's what she gets. Kevin's mom was dead wrong. Her loyalty was to her son but she was up shalondas ass. She should have let shalonda know she was wrong. Talking about crazy shakonda had some screws loose. I was confused as to why the nurse left the way she did out of Randy room. Happy ending but diamonds worked my nerves.
Picked up right where the last installment left off and I enjoyed it. Good from beginning to the end and what a ending. So glad it ended they way it did and I loved it. Very well written and flowed really well. A page-turner and I couldn't put it down. Great ending to a great series and I loved how it ended. Finally Kevin got it together so him and Shalonda could raise Jr and het their happy ending. Loved Mrs. Scruggs and she had Shalonda's back and didn't uphold Kevin in his wrong doings. she fought for her family and it paid off. I knew Kelvin was psycho and then some and he got what he deserved right along with Python. Karma took care of Zamira and hated what happened to Knowledge. Great job Shelli Marie and Teruka B. Can't wait to see what's next from these Ladies.
Ok, so the ending was good, but I wanted to give up on this series so many times. Londa and Kevin were a mess. I surely didn't see Londa as the strong, 'take no mess' woman the writer insisted she was. She was wishy washy to say the least. And although I liked Mrs. Shruggs, I can't believe she let her son and Londa disrespect her house by sleeping together without the benefit of marriage. Randy was a fool, though I loved his love for his cousin. For me, the drama wasn't realistic and didn't live up to the book's title. And one aside - the main character being this awesome editor was an affront to the book itself needing editing. Kudos that this was only a two- part series.
I wanted to jump through the book on Kevin behind but I’m glad he finally got it together. Oh baby I love Shalonda. She that I’m not about to play with you chick. I love it. Once again I love Randy crazy butt and I’m glad he found his happiness too. Poor Knowledge but that’s what he get and karma got Zamira and Kelvin crazy butt. As far as Python lol I guess lol he adjusted so well lol. This series is a must read....I loved it
When I first began this book I was pissed off at Shalonda. She was acting like a bitter ass baby momma. I literally was calling her bitches, with every page I turned. I couldn’t stand Kell’s ass at all. And Randy was just doing way to much for me. He needed a lesson. I am so glad Shelli and Teruka turned this book around and made it a happy ending. I was team Kevin, the whole book through.
Shalonda should have known something was off with Kell. She chose to ignore it all because she was holding a grudge against Kevin. Kell finally showed his true colors and went too far. Kevin wasn't giving up on Shalonda and proved it. What Shalonda and Kevin didn't realize and had to find out the hard way was that Kell was literally crazy.
A great ending to a awesome series kelvin got what he deserved but he went out too easy glad Sholonda and Kevin got it together sorry Knowledge loss his mom overall a great story.
Lord this book was full of the best lessons life had to offer. Randy is a whole mess by his self. He should get a story. All them drama Kevin and shalonda went through made them a better couple. Great series . Good job
Wow. This sequel was filled with crazy ppl. Her cousin Randy is always in the mix. He need some business of his own. She was wrong as he'll for the restraining order, but it all worked out for the best. My fav part was the flooded house 😂
Perfect storyline connecting the two books. Stay alert cause looks CAN kill. Thank God Shalonda had people in her corner willing to fight for her and her son. Awesome series👍
Great ending for all. Lots of drama in this second book. Loved reading about Kevin and Shalonda. I'm glad that Kell and Python and even Zamira met Karma. Great series
This serious was awesome I loved it from beginning to end of everything that happened. I was pleased with the ending felt like everybody got what they deserved.
