When Cory Jenson comes face to face with the woman who has consumed his dreams for many years, will he be able to save her from her past demons? Jodi's past is far deeper and darker than anybody could ever imagine. Will the love of her life be able to save her before it's too late, or will he risk losing his sanity along the way?
“You do that a lot.” “What?” “Watch the door like you need to leave.”
Jodi is a girl suffering. Badly. She's lost in her own dark bottomless pit. Cory Jenson wants nothing more than to help her and to save her before it's too late. Besides Jodi being in a very dark place, there's also someone who is obssessed with her. And that all makes this story so very interesting!
I loved this complex, chaotic story, it's a real challenge.
This book was truly heartbreaking, I loved how this author brought awareness to PTSD, and how real it truly is. My heart hurt for these characters and the things they went through. Cory is a wonderful man who does everything in his power to help those who cross his path. Jodi is a strong woman who has some very real demons and tries to hard to get past them.
I highly recommend this book, but know it may trigger some people but I applaud this author for being notice to PTSD
