Two alien dragon shifters. Two vampires. A whole new world.
And I’m in the middle of it all.

One minute I’m a nineteen year-old woman trying to get through life and the next second I’m in space, charged with saving the human race on an alien planet.

Four men show up vowing to love and protect me … except they aren’t men at all, they're alien dragon shifters and vampires.

They say we’re mates. I say they’re crazy.

I’m charged with a mission: have their baby.

Um, how about no.

They say it’s destiny. I say I’m a long way from home!

Fire, Blood, and Beauty is a full length, reverse harem romance with passion and suspense, including elements from paranormal, sci-fi, and fantasy. There is no cliffhanger and a guaranteed happy ending!

Dear god, this was boring, long and drawn out and full of angst and that was only 41%

Dear god, this was boring, long and drawn out and full of angst and that was only 41% of the book....
Dear lord, this felt incredibly l o n g and I could only make it to 41%, but it felt a Hell of a lot longer ;(
Ok, etc me put it his way, the story starts with Eva out in the woods trying to save a fox 🦊 from a box trap, when our dragon shifters show up, some how threatened and surrounded by wolves...
D r a g o n s h I f t e r s! Dragon 🐉 shifters and maybe they are afraid to scare the human but they just stand they as she scars them off with a flare gun.... Really ? Yeah ( cue eye roll), along with some yelling and attitude.....
This story moved at the pace of a sick snail 🐌 fighting off some salt in a Vermont winter ❄️...
Takes them over 5 chatters and three p.o.v s just to get to the freakin cabin, and you know what ?!?!?!
Nothing of any real INTEREST happened along the way!
Tons of inner angst and monologuing that did not to really further the story and just bored the poo out of me ;(
By chapter 8 I think it was the vampires had showed up and all 5 of them were now finally in the cabin...
Dear lord, that poor snail was getting lost in all the BS and I kept reading in the very vain attempt it would get better...
That poor snail 🐌 and I never stood a freakin chance...
Poor sweet smart but naïve Eva, just seemed to “trust” these guys because something in her said she should , and they were all soo sexy and hot, right coz sexy is trustworthy....
Right...
All these men knew why they were here, but all seemed terrified to tell her anything for fear they spook her and she’d run, while I was grateful for the lack of knee jerk alpha BS where men in these stories act like cave men drag the girl off and run after over 10 chapters of playing pass the p.o.v where all we got was more vague discussion w/lots of words and inner angst but little head way or progress like a hearing or a vote in a gridlocked congress in was ready to scream...
Over ten chapters and all we’d’ gotten was the five on them in the cabin and all they’d barely done was to,d her this vague evil was out their killing dragons and vampires and very little else...
WTH!?!?!
She passes out from a shared memory from one of the vampires and they all just sit around and have some sorta committee meeting about what to next and when she finally comes two they basically run for their lives off to the dragon planet ...
I not begin to explain properly agonizingly frustrating this book was endless details and thoughts about nothing while we move at that pace that had the sick snail 🐌 screaming for mercy ... more of pass the p.o.v as everyone recovers from teleporting to the planet and 5 chapters and at least a week later Eva hasn’t seen her vampire pals nor has she asked about them, and O guess what? She’s still completely and totally clueless as to what her true role with all these men is,she feels sexually drawn to them but doesn’t have a clue she’s meant to be a mate form all...
Again WTH, Right ?
When at 41% she’s going to have sex w/the younger dragon brother completely and utter clueless as to what’s going on or as to why she is there, that far in to the book , deep sigh , I just couldn’t take it any more...
This book was like romance by committee, only the heroine wasn’t invited to the talks or the panel ...
The majority of the book was useless inner monologues and thoughts that were unnecessary and unneeded and unwanted and added NOTHING,NOTHING to the story...
And to have her having sex with one that far into the book and be soo abso freakin ing CLUELESS was just too much....
This book felt like a politicians speech, words that meant nothing and got me no where....
Sorry, like the writer I’m sure I’ve repeated myself more than once,I’m sorry, but this book was soo frustrating, I’m just trying to get it all out soo I can move on...
And btw wolves too evil a dragon shifter can’t even spit some fire at them, but a 19 yr. old girl can frighten off w/a flare gun and a lot of attitude ?
Yeah, I think I missed a clue...

See, when a book is about that woman is going to save people, I do not suppose they are just because she's a baby machine. I'm not a super fan of children in my books in the first place, but when that's the reason she's there, I just can't handle it.

I gave up on this book midway through. I did not like this book for 2 main reasons:

1. It's a "what" book, not a "how" book. Halfway through the book I still didn't know what the prophecy was, what about the main female character makes her important to whatever destiny(though I have a hunch), or what 'the evil' is or does beyond vague terms. I don't want to read a whole book to get to the "what." I want to find out the what and read the book to experience the "how." How do the main characters go about working through the prophecy, getting rid or conquering or whatever 'the evil.' So - this book was a lot of blah-blah-blah that did not answer my questions and I have other things to do with my time.

2. The main female character seems to be an object/something to attain and use rather than an independent person. This may be a bit ageist of me, but she (Eva) is 19yrs old and been living in the woods by herself for a year (before which she lived in the woods with her parents/sister). What life experience does she have that makes her "the one?" She's just a special snowflake just because? Is she an actor in this prophesied destiny or something to be acted upon? Based on half the book I read, it seems like she is simply a vessel. 4 guys (2 royal dragon-aliens, and 2 vampires) just instantly want to bone her when they first see her, so she is 'the one.' I didn't read the whole book, so I could be wrong - but it seems like her destiny is to be sexed up by 4 hot non-humans and possibly produce offspring ('the light within' from the prophesy?). There are other contemporary series with young main characters ... hunger games, throne of glass, etc. Those heroines actually have skills and abilities outside of being "young, innocent, and beautiful" ... oh, and she's a virgin before the 4 dudes get to her, lets not forget that 'asset'. Case in point, Eva mentions how her dad told her she had a greater destiny (note the word "had") and one of the vampires says something to the effect of "yes, you are" (note the word "are"). Is she destined for greatness (she will do great things) or is she the destiny (aka trophy or tool) of the greatest [hot guys]?

Just completely disappointed with this story line. It wasn't worth finishing.

I will now be pretending that this never happened and we’re all just going to move on with our lives. I dnfed this so quick there was no way I was going to enjoy this… but if you did enjoy it, I’m glad! I wish I could have lovers it...
When I tell you I couldn’t stand the main character!! She’s the reason I’m not reading the rest of this book. I think what really got me was the fact that she found these random ✨hot✨ men in the woods and trusted them immediately and never second guessed it. Yk why because there so ✨hot✨, the ✨hottest✨ men to ever exist. Then she ran into so more ✨hot✨ men. Get this they were waiting for her outside of her house and you’ll never guess what she did. She BROUGHT THEM INSIDE HER HOUSE!!!! So now there all in her house (btw it’s been like 12 chapters to get to this point) all 5 of them are in her tiny house and she just so horny and trusting of these ✨hot✨ men. Have I said ✨hot✨ enough??? Do you understand how ✨HOT✨ these men are. Ps there not really men but you get the point.
So ya, then I read what felt like a lot more and it just got worse which is hard because nothing happened.
I feel like that’s all I have to say about this book so until the next book I guess…

SPOILERS A CONTINUACION:

This is a fantastic book for sci-fi romance lovers, hot men, sassy woman and lots of adventure. This was well written and had great characters. The building of the characters, world and the plot was fantastic. The story is engaging and addictive. I didn't want to put it down.

Very interesting and unique storyline so I wanted to continue reading. However, there were several parts that truly annoyed me.
The fighting amongst the men got real old real fast. The immature behavior of the two younger men really ticked me off. When Brandt got Eva drunk and slept with her, took her virginity, I was downright pissed. Even though the writer glossed over the fact that she was giving up her virginity while impaired I couldn’t forget that just moments before Eva was getting so drunk she couldn’t function normally. I felt this was in poor taste to write in the first sexual encounter for a person.
It got boring for awhile with a lot of talk of wondering up and down hallways, meetings about the evil, arguments with the elder dragons about the vampires. They voted on letting the vampires stay but yet they kept up the argument for weeks later, every meeting. Why?
This leaves of on a cliffhanger. I’d like to know the resolution

Disclaimer: My copy of the audio version of this book was provided by the narrator for an unbiased and honest review.

When the chance to listen to a story filled with supernatural creatures and romance came my way, I eagerly jumped at the chance to have the opportunity to hear it out.

I have not really dabbled too much into the reverse harem romance genre, but decided why not? How can having aliens/dragon shifters, vampires, and wolves in the mix go wrong? I enjoyed the overall story, but some parts left me disappointed.

The story itself takes some time to gradually lead up to bigger and better events, but the ending and possibilities makes me hopeful that there is another book in the works.

However, the one thing I'm still not sure of - and maybe I missed the explanation at some point - was why are the wolves the enemy? I wish more of the background history was explored as to how the wolves became the enemy to both the dragon and vampire species...and how are the same wolves on Earth the same enemy on an alien planet? Again, maybe I missed this at some point as I listen to the audio version while at work and could of easily been sidetracked.

Then there's the whole deal with the virgin-inexperience girl who ends up sleeping with all four of these guys in such a short period of time...lose virginity to dragon king, sleeps with vampire following day. Plus, two other guys afterwards...WTF? Super pregnancy follows with gifted child that grows so fast and impresses them all...in which he must save them all from the enemy.

Okay, since this is a supernatural fiction story, I will allow the possibility of all the above to happen and look past the questionable parts that left me thinking WTF?

But...I still don't get how the son is the prophecy to bring peace to the world and destroy the enemy. All he did from what I recall is make the alien planet green again and bringing hope to the people. The wolves stay at bay, but they aren't destroyed and there was not some fierce battle to happen which I was kind of hoping for when getting to the end of the story. Major let down on this end.

Again...maybe it gets better in a possible book two?? o.O

Overall, I enjoyed the story and loved the audio version. Zara Zenia did a good job putting it together, though some parts did lack and more to this story is definitely needed. Victoria Mei did a superb and believable narration when dealing with the male voices for all species as well as the human girl. Thank you again for this opportunity.

Eva slowly approached the trapper’s cage which held the frightened fox. She talked quietly to it as she offered food and opened the door of the cage. She was furious that someone was trapping on her land. Suddenly the hair stands up on her neck and she looks around. The fox is gone, the food left uneaten. Then a wolf howls! Wolves are not supposed to be in this area, and it brings back the memory of her father being ripped apart by a pack of wolves. She runs toward the sound of the pack as she hears a human. Racing into a clearing, she sees the wolves have circled two men. She fires a flare and all but 3 wolves run into the woods. These 3 are not “normal” – their eyes are red and they stalk toward her instead of running. But as she steps toward them, they whine and put tails between their legs as they run away!

The two men are shocked at what happened. But they answer her that they are okay. One has gorgeous amber eyes; the other has equally beautiful green eyes. Then they look up to the trees and say they all have to go right now! Trylor and Brandt introduce themselves, but Eva turns and runs away without a word. The men smile – she is the one who will save their planet!

Wow, this was a definite page-turner! I love the strong female character, Eva. Her dad died in a horrible way and her mom and sister moved away from their cabin. But Eva loved the woods and stayed to make a life of it. Her strong spirit and courage never faltered. Meeting the (eventual) four strangers who enter her life, and expected to fulfill prophesies and have a child together, she remains strong and stands up to the challenges they will face! Don’t miss this one – it’s amazing. I really hope this is the start of a series. I’m already hooked!

Fire, Blood, and Beauty is a spectacularly moving and wonderfully enchanting journey full of unearthly surprises, heart-stopping passion, and unwavering hope. This story completely wrecked my heart, and then it transformed it with such beautiful hope. Nothing compares to the fierce determination and single-minded mission of the heart. No matter how hard we try, it refuses to be transparent or reasoned away. All that we can do it hold on for the wild ride, and this was one incredible ride.

I held my breath the entire time as I walked this journey with these amazing characters. They never failed to awe, surprise, and entertain me the entire time. They didn’t act as I would have expected, but instead they gave me such a wickedly spellbinding adventure that will never leave my mind or my heart. They have left a lasting impression that will forever leave my heart wanting, soaring high, and so very grateful.

I am dying for the next book in this series as I am seriously addicted to this author and her impressive talent. When you find an author that moves you as much as this one has while keeping true heart, passion, and hope alive and realistic in her stories, you do everything you can to cherish and savor the precious gift freely given. This is one author I plan to keep a close eye on. Her talent is out of this world, and I can’t wait to read more!

The narration was truly a moving and unforgettable performance! The gifted narrator knew how to capture, dazzle, and captivate me the entire time. This was such a precious gift! Thank you so much!

Should have been a trilogy

This was an amazing concept that I was excited to delve right into the story. The development of the characters, the plot, and the relationships was great. Then once the reader started to expect real action and resolutions to mysteries, it was a severe disappointment. If felt that the solution to end the evil was again a great concept but really should’ve been more evolved over multiple stories. Not “final outcome” in one chapter. It truly felt like that author didn’t want to spend any more time on the story and took an easy way out and rushed the ending of the book. After so many chapters of spending time to develop everything, the ending should not have been within one very “simple” chapter. Yes some things were answered but again the approach and answers to the questions were just lame and inadequate. If the author were to have taken this storyline and created it into a trilogy, she could have evolved all the characters, their back stories, and even created a new series. But that would mean that the author would need to take the time to do so. I personally have liked most of Zenia’s novels so that’s why I was so shocked that this one did not live up to my previous expectations.

Fire, Blood, and Beauty is a new book from Ms. Zenia that’s a reverse harem that’s full of following your destiny, finding a family, and above all, hope. Eva is nineteen and happy living in her woods alone, until four strangers find her. Her gut reaction is to believe them, to trust them, even though they say they’re not humans. Soon she’s on an adventure, saving all kind from the evil that’s after her, but in their quest for goodness, the evil comes. Will Eva survive to find happiness with four men, or will all be lost?

Wow, what a book! This was amazing, full of world building, a prophesy, vampires, dragons, wolves, and one woman to bring it all together. Eva was wonderful, she was strong but caring, full of wonder and acceptance, and truly wanted to best for everyone. Her dragons, Trylor and Brandt, were courageous and full of dominance, while her vampires, Lucas and Morgan, were so much more than just a fairy tale. I loved the threat that the evil posed throughout the book, and I also loved the solution. I’m not sure if this is a start of a series, but it would be interesting to see how things might turn out on this world. I felt like the ending was a little rushed, but I loved reading this book and would definitely recommend it to other sci-fi romance lovers!

I really enjoy the reverse harem romances. This one has an interesting storyline and combines a human girl with two dragon shifters and two vampires.

Eva has been living a quiet life in the woods until these four men find her and request her assistance. She is supposed to be the savior of all their worlds from the evil that has destroyed so much. While she is not sure how she will help, she feels a connection to them. They feel the attraction and connection as well and hope for a future with her.

I like that the author lets each character speak for themselves and share their intimate feelings with the reader. It made it easier to connect to them and was especially important in terms of the men so they could each be an individual on their own and the reader could see them form their own relationship with her.

I did feel like there was some real unanswered questions, especially about her father. There are hints that he knew about her special future nothing comes of them really in the end. I also would have liked to see more of their future. It feels like there should be another book or at least an epilogue.

I am voluntarily reviewing a copy I received.

Eva thought she had everything she needed...

Living alone in the forest, caring for her environment and the animals that lived in it, Eva thought her life held everything she needed... then strangers entered her life, telling her she could do more, was capable of more, and opened her eyes to countless things she never imagined.

Part of me expected this to be a quick, light read, but with five interesting lead characters, and a plot that built up to something inspiring, I found myself taking a slow journey with this story, enjoying the world building and getting immersed in Eva's experience (which included some frustrations with people sheltering her from the full truth.)

Stories like this are why I signed up for Kindle Unlimited. I would enjoy a return visit to this Universe, though this self-contained done in one story leaves no reason to expect one... But a reader can hope.

I was gifted with a copy of this story, and switched to the Kindle Unlimited version when it was published. I chose to post a review.

This book grabs you right from the start and keeps you flipping pages with unique interest. The unusual story is great with 2 Dragon shifters and two vampires with one destined mate. Eva, it seems, is The One! Her destiny is to mate with the 4 males to have their baby who is also destined to save three worlds, the humans, Dragons and Vampires. The world that Ms. Zenia brings us into with this book is amazing and scary but so much more too. Eva has to struggle to understand where she fits in as a potential mother and mated to 4 men, not all human men either, it's just too twisted for her to comprehend. The attraction between Eva and her men is sweet and very sexy, hot, really sizzling! I had trouble putting this book down as the storyline was so interesting and exciting, I hardly took a break as I was reading. I was thrilled to get to the reveal towards the end and very satisfied with the outcome.
Great Story! Great Read by a Great Author!

This is a amazing, captivating book that will draw you in from the first page and keep your attention until the last page is turned. The book is about a strong-willed feisty woman (Eva), two sexy alien dragon shifters (Trylor & Brandt) and two sexy vampires (Lucas & Morgan). What you will find in this book is: drama, intrigue, suspense, twists & turns, mystery, evil, magic, prophecy, adventure, action, humor, hope, lust, passion, love and erotic scenes. The story-line and plot is well thought out and exceptionally well written. The characters are well developed with personalities and have feelings of fear, lust, needs and desires. I would recommend this book to people who like to read reverse harem romances, I doubt that you would be disappointed in this book.

I loved the uniqueness of Fire, Blood, and Beauty!

Eva was joy,and her introduction INSTANTLY hooked me. Tryler and Brandt are intriguing, and upon meeting them, I was enraptured. Morgan and Lucas are enthralling, I immediately fell under their spell.
The adventure I embarked upon was amazing, and I loved every minute. I was kept on the edge of my seat with the pages quickly turning.
Imagine being a 19 year old girl who was told by 4 men that you are their mate. Oh, and BTW, you get to have their baby because it's destiny. Oh, the fun!
The ending left me exceptionally satisfied, but I hated to see them all go.
Zara Zenia is a fascinating storyteller. I can't wait to read more of her works.

Eva lives a quiet, simple life. Living in the forest her only company is the occasional animal she tries to help. That is until she helps two guys who are nearly attacked by a pack of wolves & her life changes massively. The two guys Trylor & Brandt tell her that they have been looking for her. They need her help. At the same time Lucas & Morgan arrive for the exact reason. Except both parties dont exactly get on well mainly because Trylor & Brandt are dragon. Lucas & Morgan are Vampires. Enemies that have to try to find a way to work together with Eva against a common enemy. As you can probably work out 4 hot guys equals sex and theres plenty of that in this book but theres also a decent story too. Which i kinda liked. Interested to see what happens

Maybe a 2,5 ☆

If you are okay with nothing making sense or logic. This might be the book for you.

An ancient enemy that can disguise itself as a wolf with red eyes, a prophesy that's never fully explained, alien dragons, vampires, teleportation and not to forget a fast growing pregnancy/ child
That somehow is the answer for the ancient enemy to be destroyed?

This certainly was a confusing story to read and if I was not using the audiobook I might have DNFed it at chapter 37!
That chapter had no logic at all. They let a heavily pregnant woman telleport on her own to earth without any additional protection? Are they idiots?

So glad I finished it, but I don't think I'll read the next book in this series any time soon.

Fire, Blood, Beauty and Hope

This was a wonderful story. I got pulled in from the first page, and couldn't put it down until I could no longer keep my eyes open in the wee hours of the morning. I liked all of the characters, and the dynamic of their relationships. It was nice to see the vampires in a more human light. The Child was very interesting. I hope there's more of him in the future. I'm not being specific for a reason-I don't want to spoil anything for you because it was full of hope and love and sexy times. Give this book a try! It was a great read!! I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy, and I borrowed this book through the Kindle Unlimited program too.

A reverse harem story that is both sci-fi and paranormal. One young human female, two vampires and two dragon shifters from another planet. What could they all have in common? An evil that will destroy not just Earth and the shifters’ planet but many more. But one prophecy may be the only hope.

An interesting twist. Vampires and alien shifters definitely made a fun and hot story. Add in one human female that has a heart and soul that is so good she would sacrifice herself. By the end things getting even more interesting and speed up quite a bit.

I voluntarily read and reviewed a copy of the book.

I really, really wanted to like this book-- one of my chat rooms had some good things to say about the story which encouraged my purchase-- but I just didn't get it. I found the plot slow and illogical, and the characters could use a bit more depth. The insta-lust-harem concept (because it's prophecy) was weak and trope-ish. The writing was good, but the plot lacked any real emotion or credibility (yeah, I know sci-fi-fantasy needs some leeway, but...). A quick, convenient wrap-up-ending (at 83 percent, the rest is filler/promos). So much lost potential in this story as the premise is really interesting, but the plot holes and lack of worldbuilding made this a disappointment.

Amateur novella

I don't mean to be so harsh, but don't waste your money. This book had potential but its written as though the author was just making it up as she wrote it with no forethought or plot planning. Example; A deadly evil is traveling from planet to planet leaving complete death and devistation in its wake. But is the evil described? No, not at all. It's just called "the evil". No monster, no aliens, no spell , no anything....just the evil! Really.?? AND...don't get me started on the ending. Its not a cliff hanger. It just doesnt really have an ending. You just turn the page and....what?? Thats it?? Omg, I got suckered into this book! Argh!!

Peace, quiet and the forest are her home. It’s where she wants to be. Her mother and sister tried to get her to move away after her fathers death, but she refused.
Then four strangers came into her life, telling her she was the chosen one she was going to save them all. They excluded one detail, but it was too late to refuse she had already fallen in love with all four of these extraordinarily creatures and will do anything they ask.
Not your typical paranormal sci-fi romance a little avant-garde, sexy and spicy.
Was gifted this audible book by the narrator Victoria Mei, lovely voice, thank you.

DNF at 52%

This is my first DNF of the year. I really, really wanted to like this book. Who doesn’t love a vampire, dragon, shifter RH? I need more than base characters in my story. It starts out with the standard “prophecy” trope and rapidly jumps into physical aspects of these 5 individuals without so much as a “how do ya do.” There are moments that I love, but the story itself lacks much of a plot to keep things going. In the quest to keep things mysterious and to only give readers a glimpse into the entire plot - I felt like the baby angle was enough to throw cold water on everything and introduced an ick factor I just couldn’t continue to read.

It's been a long time since I read a paranormal romance. My go-to guilty pleasure of late has been SFR. But Zara Zenia pulled off the impossible and combined these two genres in a skillful and believable (Alien dragon shifters and vampires? Come on...it's fiction.) tale that was immensely enjoyable and entertaining. The sex was hot but did not overpower the rest of the plot. I felt the ending was a bit abrupt...more of a happy-for-now than a happy-ever-after but it worked and did not leave me disappointed. Great afternoon read!

Interesting premise, boring execution

The protagonist, who at first seems like she has a lot of potential for depth, does not have a developed personality at all by the end of the book. It would seem that she forgets everything that has ever happened to her beyond meeting these four men, and it makes it difficult to care about her. Also the world-building was nada, which was unfortunate because most of it took place off-earth. There were just a lot of missed opportunities as far as this book goes and I found that frustrating.

Told from multiple points of views.

I got a little over 50% and just couldn't continue.
IDK if it was because of my anticipation of another book which had just released or the slow building of this storyline.

I read the last chapter hoping it would convince me to power thorugh, but no such luck.
While I was curious about one thing, it wasn't enough to go back and read the rest.

The concept of the story is interesting, but I felt the FMC was wishy-washy in her feelings.

May eventually come back and give it another try at a later date.

Fire blood and beauty is a Sci-Fi Paranormal Reverse Harem novel. This fantasy adventure was an interesting story and very descriptive with I liked and while I enjoyed the sci-fi aspect of it the aggressive behavior of the 2 younger men in the story was a bit annoying at times. The story was filled with suspense, twist and turns, steamy scenes and a prophesy to fullfil. I listened to the audible version of this novel and I really enjoyed it. The narrator was able to capture the different characters and do justice to them. It was a good read and I enjoyed it.
