As the leader of the Malicious Intent M.C. I keep the things that matter to me close. I'd fight for them. I'd die for them. But when it comes to Alexis I spend more time fighting myself than anything else. I know she's better off without me. The things I do weren't meant for her. A better man would let her go, but I've never been that guy.
He's all I ever wanted. He's the one thing I can never have.
Ky has been my world since we were kids, but something changed when we started to grow up. I lost my best friend. I lost the life I thought I was supposed to have. I live on the fringe now, pretending I don't care that he refuses to let me in. They call him Sadist now, and if the stories are true, maybe he is. But that only makes me want him more.
We can't let go, but when the dam finally breaks and we give in to all the things we need from each other neither of us will ever be the same again. The world around us will never be the same again.

HOLY SHIZ. What effed up, horror smut did I just read?! I could NOT look away from this. Triggers every step of the way y'all, so you've been warned. For me, on a scale of 1-10 on crazy things, this was probably a 10.
Ok. So short summary: Sadist and Alexis grew up together in their small motorcycle club community and she was always one of the guys. One summer she comes back from vacation with a more womanly body and dresses like it and Sadist treated her differently ever since. He isolated her but also never let any other guys get too close to her. Everything reaches a massive boiling point years later which finally puts these two together.
Sadist has aptly earned his name in AND out of the bedroom. This dude is riddled with a lot of sociopath tendencies. The only truly decent thing he's done is probably keep Alexis at an arm's length so she doesn't experience his true depravity. Welllll, as it turns out, Ms. Alexis has some dark thoughts herself that she's kept secret all these years. And wouldn't you know, when they finally get together, they are like two peas in one seriously messed up pod.
This is depraved and twisted on sooo many levels. The motorcycle club itself is definitely of the 1% and they war with other groups and follow zero social decency rules. Also, Sadist and Alexis get off on some seriously insane sh't. Like for real, to me, this was horror smut. IDK if most would consider that, but it's some of the most insane stuff I've ever read.
There is no safe place to hide here while reading. Sadist has about zero redeeming qualities. And the things that happen to the club, to Alexis, the things Sadist and Alexis do together is all debased and corrupt and perverted.
With all that said. For some unknown reason, this author spun a scary as hell web that I got stuck in and could not look away. Saying I enjoyed this might not be the most accurate description. It was more like "WTF, am I really reading this?! I can't look away from the sh't show."
Final big spoilery note on my final rating because of the ending.
The name says it all! Do not read this book unless you are into hotties with kinks and motorcycles! Ky and Alex are such a force to be reckoned with, my only issue, I wish the book was longer! Can’t wait to read the rest of the series!
Well this biker book isn’t for the faint of heart. It packs quite the punch…and I love that kind of punch!! This was one down and dirty biker read that had me turning page after page because it was pretty intense. The author’s husband called it “murder porn” which made me laugh because in a way it sort of was. The thing is some of us like that kind of book at times and this filled the spot.
This actually had the makings to be a very good story, but sadly, missed the mark for me. The story of Ky (aka 'Sadist', MC President) and Alexis (aka 'Lex", childhood friend, mechanic). Basically, Ky and Lex were childhood BBF's and as they grew older, Lex went away came back sexy and Ky decided to blackball her within the dating community, without telling her why. As time goes by Ky joins the MC, becomes President and Lex decides she wants him and goes after him. Throw in some rival MC drama, hot sex and blood...and there it is.
I was not turned off by the kink that Ky and Lex enjoyed. At some point it became too OTT, for no reason. Ky came off as a demanding, dominant alphahole character. Again, this did not turn me off. Lex confused me. She was portrayed as an innocent inexperienced character, but then was into Ky's brand of kink, and had a panache for violence. I could not get into her. It felt like her character was being made up on the fly as the author wrote the story. There were some secondary characters, Bree and Pinky, I could not connect with either. They seemed to appear during random times throughout the story, especially Bree.
While this was the first installment to the series, and looks like the author's first book, I will more than likely not continue with the series.
Why Not 5 Stars? Writing Style - The writing style was off. Too much description/backstory about things that did not matter and not enough on what did matter. I hate to say this, but it felt like it was a first attempt at writing. There was no character development. The characters seemed to change as the story was written, without a reason why.
The Story - When I found out why the 'incident' was done, the reason being did not seem plausible. I was unable to believe in the overall story. To be blunt, this read like the author was trying to throw everything imaginable into the story to shock and awe the reader. But it was not in a good way. For example, the end with ...really, seriously where did that come from? There was not even the slightest hint that any kind of connection existed between them. That was thrown in for shock value. If the relationship was developed early on in the book, then yes, I could see that and would have believed in it. But it happened all of a sudden and made no sense. Every scene was over the top.
Again, this book had strong potential to be a great book, probably if it was about 300 pages where the author could develop all of the characters and weave a believable tale. Hope the next one will be flushed out more.
This is the first book in the Malicious Intent MC Series by Scarlet Delaney. This book wasn’t bad I just didn’t like either of the main characters. I have no problem with blood play, I mean Father Marcus Stearns from the Original Sinners Series loved to cut Nora and he’s my favorite book boyfriend. I just didn’t care about either Sadist or Alexis and some parts were boring while others seemed like the author was just listing items. On a side note I wish I would’ve known that the author hasn’t been active on social media since September 2018 because a second book doesn’t seem likely and I would’ve never read this one.
I don’t like leaving negative reviews but this book was going great until the end confused me.
So we have Ky and Lexi who both liked each other but Ky (Sadist) kept pushing her away and sleeping with club whores. But every time Lexi wanted to get some he managed to put a stop to it. They eventually got together and liked doing freaking things with knifes and blood. But the epilogue they suddenly had a threesome with his best friend Pinky. Then all 3 of them decided to then have a relationship together! The last epilogue had Lexi giving birth then Pinky saying he wanted to get her pregnant next. It was sudden and no build up so it put me off. The two epilogues shouldn’t have been in the book unfortunately.

Good start to this series. This is gritty, action packed, twisted as heck, and dangit dirty....woohoo everything I want in an MC read. I will definitely be reading book two in this series. Can't wait to see how she tops this one. Just a warning if you don't like M\F\M or dirty hot sex scenes this book isn't for you. Good thing this reader does....hell YES!! Sexy AF!! Thanks Jamie Nibarger Ellis
First and foremost, read the trigger warning in the brief synopsis of this book. If you are easily offended or don't like excessive violence and other things that can be triggers for some people please do not get this book. Otherwise read on and know that this is an excellent story. Ky and Alexis have known each other since they were kids. They did just about everything together. While in high school Alexis's parents decide to divorce and she has to stay at her aunt's house for a couple of months. When she comes back she has a new wardrobe of tighter clothes and thought she'd be welcomed back into her group of friends. Unfortunately Ky has changed as well and he decides he no longer wants to be any where near Alexis. So he shuns her and basically alienates her. None of her friends will even speak to her. A year later she finds her new best friend, Bree. Bree helps her navigate through life and she flourishes into an awesome motorcycle mechanic. She ends up being pulled back into the fold of the Malicious Intent MC, to be their top mechanic. Ky (Club name: Sadist) still ignores her, flaunts all the cheap women he sleeps with and tells everyone in the club that Alexis is off limits, cause he can't stand the thought of someone else touching her. Alexis is fed up, lonely and just totally done with being under Sadist's sadistic thumb. Grab this intense book and find out what happens when Alexis tells Ky she just wants out and she will be out of his life for good. She believes if she leaves he'll be happy and she might be able to salvage some semblance of a life. Will Ky just let her walk away? Does he truly hate her? Or is he finally going to admit she's all he can think about, even though he knows she is too good for him. He is sadistic and he believes she could never handle him and she'd probably run the other way if he ever tells her all the messed up things he wants to do to her. One-click today you will not be disappointed. Looking forward to the next book in this series that should be out in the Fall of 2018.
This is not your average MC story for sure, however it was a good solid story. I don’t care how you feel about Sadist he has a heart! Can’t wait for Pinky’s story late this year. Eeek hurry up already...
This book delves into the darker and more sadistic side of an MC Book hence the title SADIST. I enjoyed it although felt it went a little over the top at times. If you enjoy the darker side of kink this book is for you.
Loved this story, binged the entire book. Only complaint is this version needs editing to include the acknowledgements. Otherwise, I am looking forward to more of Malicious Intent MC!
My first read of a Scarlet Delaney book. Don't think this book isn't good because I gave it a three star, because it is. So why you ask? I have great respect for Scarlet's book, however the skipping from present tense to past annoyed me no end and there were some editorial issues. Now that's been said...Sadist (Ky) and Alexis are a couple you won't forget in a hurry. After being ignored by the man she has lusted after for years, Alexis suddenly finds herself in his sights. I don't understand how she can suddenly forgive him for the crap he's put her through. These two get into all sorts of trouble where Alexis finds they have more in common than kinky sex. There's violence, blood, death and three ways. It's totally different to most of the MC books I have read.
Not a bad job at all for a first book. Characters were good, story lines good, surprise at the last of book I didn't expect but it worked out , lol. One part gave me a squimish frown or two but things happen in a dark book! One thing about it, Sadist nor Alexia held back on anything . Good book great editing too. Wish the next were out already. ....pat....
First I’d like to say this book may not be for everyone. However for me, it was a good ride! It is dark, demented, and dirty ... and I liked it! Sadist (Ky) and Lexi are made for each other, just takes a bit for Sadist to realize it. There is action and surprising twists. This is a gritty read ladies, so hold on tight. I loved Pinky and would have liked to know more about him. Definitely need a follow-up book on this aspect. Sadist is.... well, properly named. Lexi is a wildcat that will surprise you! Glad I took the chance on this first time author!
Omg I bloody loved this book. Totally addictive from page one I could not put it down. Fast paced, great story n characters and hot kinky very dark sex!
Gotta devour everything this author has written cos I absolutely adore her writing style!!
This is different, not run of the mill mc biker book like all the rest.
This book took me on a journey, down a dark twisted path, one I usually do not go down - however the writing was so good it dragged me along, and I must confess I did enjoy this story. Well worth the read.
This book was just the right amount of dark. Add in some hot scenes. The only thing that bothered me was the end I would of liked to see sooner in the book. It made the end seemed rushed.
Honestly, one of the best books I've read on awhile! Stayed up all night, I couldn't put it down. If kinky sex, violence, and deviant behavior don't get your blood flowing...avoid this one...HOWEVER, for us that like to fly out freak flag this is a keeper! Bravo!
Holy crap, I was not expecting that! After reading this I am wondering if I am a masochist! Loved the writing and you immediately fall in love with the characters!
This is a story where he (Ky) believes himself to be 'too dangerous' for her (Lexy) but does not want anybody else to touch her either. Ky, also known as Sadist, is president of major MC and rules the area. He prevents Lexy from getting a serious relationship. Tension has risen when Lexy did not get laid in more than a year and Ky is wounded after a major gunfight with another gang. Soon Lexy forces Ky to accept her as his 'old lady' as Lexy turns out to be both masochistic and sadistic and an excellent fit to Ky. The story is set in the middle of a brutal gang war, where both Ky and Lexy kill rival gang members and a traitor in their MC. Don't expect any morals here, just rough sex, public fucking, domination and a threesome in between the casualties. Also lots of fun with knives and blood, that may either turn you on or make you sick. But I got the impression Scarlet Delaney really enjoyed writing this over the top story.
I loved this book so much, even the public sex in front of the club members, which is usually a big no no for me. Their need for each other, and the depths they went to was stunning. The knife play was delicious.
But, why oh why lose it so late in the book? For him to let the whore suck his cock while they were torturing her, and then to add Pinky to the mix while his girl is pregnant? Both went against what I assumed was their all consuming jealous/possessiveness for each other. As soon as that happened, the characters, for me, lost their intensity and they just turned into some smiley happy family, which was a hugh dissapointment after the first 80+% of the book.
This went from a sure 5* to a 3* read.

Ky, MC president has sadistic tendencies and presumes, for that reason he has to distance himself from his childhood friend, Lexi.
After innumerable jealous moments, an temporarily injured Ky is challenged by Lexi, and a co-dependency ensues, borne out of dominance and mutual knife-play kink. The characterisation is underdeveloped, and sadly so is the plot. The ménage, near the end comes totally out of left-field. Solid premise for a story, lacking in meaningful development. All-in-all a bit disappointing.
I did finish the story, and I would give this author another chance, even if it was just to see if their writing style had matured as the series progressed.

I did enjoy this book, especially the hot sex scenes. I enjoyed the side characters and the main characters too. However I have a major problem with the editing. There were so many mistakes that I wanted to throw my Kindle at times. There were also moments in the writing where it seemed that a kid in middle school was telling the story. I am not saying don't read it, but I am saying be cautious and don't have extremely high Hope's.
I would have LOVED this book if it’d been just a bit longer with a little more sustenance in it. Also, the multiple epilogues were a bit much. I mean I loved Pinky and was really hoping he’d get a book and then the epilogues happened and I was so very confused. I mean that was just way out of left field and would have been so much better if it hadn’t have just been thrown in as an afterthought and actually developed throughout the story. I love a good ménage, but that wasn’t done properly
