I would definitely use the dinosaur and transformer aspects of this book when needed to make book-reading appealing to a reluctant student. Although I didn't care much for this book, it has many good qualities, primarily that it is appealing to some of my more reluctant students. For preschoolers, I would break the book into sections and complete it over a period of 2-3 sessions. This book would be useful for answering wh- or yes/no questions, and possibly making predictions.
