Arends provides an introduction to the various teaching functions that confront all classroom teachers. This expanded, simplified edition retains its research orientation and is based on observation of classroom practice.
This was a textbook for a class I had during my MST program. I think this was for my first class, but I am not certain. It wasn't a great textbook. It was full of a bunch of self-assessment stuff that really didn't make a dent in me at the time; I was so green, I couldn't see the forest for the trees.
