My father is dead. I’m taking over the business.
I meet Fang, the head of the security team. He’s serious, sexy and he means business.
He takes up the position of my security guard.
It’s just business, just common sense…so why do I find him so irresistible?

When I was in the USA, I made a mistake and revealed myself as a dragon shifter. After that, I took the first job out of the country I could. But now the boss is dead and his daughter is here instead.
She’s trouble and keeping her safe is the biggest challenge in my career. I don’t date clients. I don’t get involved outside of business. So why can’t I keep my hands off her?

**A steamy shifter romance from the WILD Security collection. No cliffhangers. Very mature themes. And a HEA. HEAPS of Bonus Content!**

I enjoyed this book but I would have liked it to be a little bit longer. I love dragon shifters and I would have liked to see more of Fang in his dragon form.

With her father dead and the head of security making it his personal mission to keep her safe Janet is confused and yet feels something deep and passionate despite the danger surrounding her. There's nothing to keep them together if they don't admit their feelings, but if her enemies have any say, she won't be around to have them at all.

I wanted so much to like this story. The premise was interesting but the reality was abysmal. Giving a dual POV synopsis to only give us Janet's view in the short story was the first disappointment. After that it was piling on dramatic event after dramatic event in the hopes that the danger would give some basis for growing Fang and Janet's feelings. Add in the Google Translate version of the story of The Golden Phoenix (a favorite of mine from childhood), and you've got a story full of holes and a severe lack of depth. The fairy tale took up probably half of the book! As for the interactions between Janet and Fang they were passionate, for sure, but there wasn't anything of depth or meaning to make me believe they would last.

Including the fairy tale was a good thing but it wasn't incorporated well by any means and the relationship had potential but it fell flat very quickly. The dragon reveal was rushed and too simplistic for the build-up we were given. And with the narration of absolutely every detail it's like we were reading a completely different author. The writing was amateurish and juvenile and I seriously think this wasn't even the author's work at all since the voice and style were drastically different from every other book I've read from her. Overall this was an incredible disappointment.

I read this book as part of an arc program. I liked this book, it was a quick read about a young woman named Janet, her father recently died and left his company to her. Her father was murdered in Africa while doing business with other businessmen in the diamond industry. Janet was in Africa to finish her father's business and get contracts signed to continue the company, even though her life was in danger like her father's was. Fang is the security guard who is going to protect Janet. Fang is a good looking guy, but he wants things done his way. When Janet and Fang argue, sparks fly and soon they can't resist each other. When an attempt is made on Janet's life, Fang wants her to return to the US, but Janet wants to finish things, regardless of the danger. When Fang has to save Janet, it is revealed he is not exactly what she thought. This was a good story, I liked Fang and Janet. Good one.

This story is about a woman named Janet whose father was a diamond dealer but he was killed in Africa, now it’s up to Janet to take over the business but there are people there that believe that Janet can’t do the job but she goes to Africa anyway. Janet has security all around her including Fang he is head of security and in charge of looking after Janet. When there’s an explosion and Fang saves Janet’s life he wants her to go back to the U.S but she refuses and they have a big blow up. Fang loves how much of a beautiful spitfire Janet is but Fang has a big secret so what will Janet do when she finds out? I loved this story and I know you will too, I highly recommend this book it’s definitely well worth the read.

When Janet's father dies she takes over his company. Fang worked for Janet's father and now for her. His job should be simple- keep Janet safe even from himself. Yet it isn't simple. The chemistry between the two makes it impossible. Can Fang protect Janet? Can he protect his secret? Will this fairy tale end with the dragon having a HEA?

Enjoyable well written dragon shifter story with nice storyline and plot. Characters with amazing chemistry and passion.
Would have liked it to be longer because it has great potential for it. It would also give the story and characters more depth.
There is drama, action, emotions, secrets and protectiveness in the story. Absolutely worth the read.

Disappointed

I felt that I gave the story a chance but found the fairytale within the story just a turn-off. It wouldn’t have been so bad but it kept on coming more pages than the real story I wanted to read
