Living the struggles, fighting his demons, and in the search for inner peace, Qasim Chauhan started his journey of making art and inspiring the world through his words.
He believes knowledge can take you places and inner peace is the highest form of success. He’s a kind soul who never hesitates to stand up for others, radiating love and compassion is all what he’s about. Qasim describes himself as an introvert, and lives his life on the principle of simplicity-is-the-ultimate-sophistication. He loves to connect to other people on a level of consciousness and is always searching for opportunities to learn from others and grow. He enjoys silence, staring at the starry sky in a dark winter night, a canvas and pastel colors. He’s always eager to learn and believes that we can inspire a positive change by being kind to others, by staying true to our own selves and by truly accepting ourselves. Self-acceptance and kindness is what we need in this cruel, cruel world of ours.
Qasim was born and raised in India, Punjab. Currently he is pursuing a degree in Psychology and English Literature and working on his first book, Qalb; a poetry collection that would take you to a whole new world of self-love, understanding, self-acceptance, learning, unlearning and relearning. He is unapologetically him, and off on a journey to break stereotypes and challenge the norms that bring disharmony to the social, psychological and physical wellbeing.
