A Tuscan Legacy #6

Bella Notte: Beautiful Night

Rate this book
He likes to play the field. She’s content to wear her goody two shoes.

Piero Carter packs light and travels often. He loves adventure and manages to keep his life simple by sticking to a two-dates-only rule. The longest relationship he’s had — aside from family — is with his camera. As a photographer who works primarily with fashion, he’s used to having his pick of beautiful women who want to be seen by his side.

Felicity von Wolff is a makeup artist whose job takes her around the world. That’s all the adventure she craves. She has little use for Piero the Playboy. Being seen on his arm means getting tied to his reputation, and that’s the last thing she wants. Yet, somehow, they keep getting thrown together. What’s a girl to do?

Piero finally meets a woman who makes him want more than two dates, but does that mean he’s ready for one of life’s greatest adventures — falling in love? When Felicity peeks over the wall she’s built to protect herself, she discovers there’s more to the people around her than she ever realized. What will it take for Piero and Felicity to stop hiding from life and open their eyes to the rich beauty God has in store for them?

Heather loves coffee, God, her family, and laughter – not necessarily in that order! She writes approachable characters who, through the highs and lows of life, find a way to love God, embrace each day, and laugh out loud right along with her. And, yeah, her books almost always have someone who's a coffee addict. Some things just can't be helped.

Despite being born into different eras, Heather's characters share a common trait. Like her, they're all flawed...but loved anyway.

You can find Heather online at http://www.facebook.com/heathergraywr... and http://www.twitter.com/laughdreamwrite. She can also be found most days at The Inspired Inkpot, a street team, prayer group, and all around awesome place to hang out - http://www.facebook.com/groups/theins....

This was such a fun book to read. First of all, I love backdrop of the story. Photographer meets makeup artist, and then and up being on location together more than once. Not only do you get to see these two characters interact, but you hear about the fantastic places they go to a little bit. I could easily imagine myself right there with them. And with a name like Piero, how could you help but not be intrigued by his storyline!

What I love about this book is that it showcases never judging a book by it's cover. We all do that, right? We all tend to get caught up in the gossip world and believe everything people say. Piero had a reputation for being a player, and rightly so. But there is more than meets the eye with him, and when presented in the story I was pleasantly surprised. In fact, it kind of made me like his character even more. I was on Team Piero from then on!

This is a lovely edition to the Tuscan Legacy series that romance readers will enjoy. I received a complimentary copy of this book. I was not required to write a favorable review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

That chance meeting on that one day takes them both on a whirlwind, edge of your seat journey that changes both their lives forever. Both with insecurities, one with a past, one doubting the world, can their faith in God bring them to trust that it’s okay to fall in love and share their lives together?

Wonderful Story of Acceptance

Have you ever hidden behind a facade? Not letting people see the real you because you are too afraid of what they might think. To protect yourself from hurt by opening up and letting others in.
This is what Felicity and Piero both are dealing with. Can they truly trust each other and God with their hearts?
There is sweet romance and bits of humor in this story, yet there was an underlying theme of God's love and acceptance. I loved how this author showed that no matter how good looking or put together we might appear or how quiet and unassuming we are, we all have deep fears of not being accepted.
I loved this story, and was captivated by the many places these two went for their jobs. I understand photography and all that goes into pulling a beautiful shoot together.
Heather Gray has written a heart warming, lovely story which will touch your soul and give you a sweet time getting lost in places all over the world.
I highly recommend you pick this book up.

With some humor tucked here & there and easy-to-relate-to characters, this book is a great addition to the Tuscan Legacy series. Felicity von Wolff (how great a name is that!) is insecure and vulnerable, misjudging Piero based on her first impressions, on rumor, and on what she thinks is his past reputation. It’s a story of learning to give & to receive unconditional love, and learning to trust - in each other & in God to lead them. This line is so true: “Relationships force us to look at ourselves in ways we would rather avoid.” A great addition to this series, and a continuation of the mystery within the series! I'm loving the humor mixed with truth!

Since having read one other book by this author when I got the opportunity to open this one dove right in. It also came at the right time for needing to read a good solid contemporary romance to chase the blues away. In this one it is centered around Piero and Felicity whom both have interesting careers but that keep them crossing paths. Rules are meant to be broken so the saying goes and we will see if one of his gets broken. We get to go on their adventure through the eyes of this author whom will give us a emotional tug with the way to satisfy your craving while reading.

Book 6 of A Tuscan Legacy. A very touching and exciting story about a fashion photographer, Piero with the reputation for being a player. Then he collides with Felicity the makeup artist that is working on the same job, really collides and they both go down. Neither is injured but Piero can't stop thinking about her. There's a lot of wit and humor as they go site seeing in Paris and other work locations. They fall in love but Felicity has trust issues and can't decide what to do. A fun book to read!

: Felicity is trying to stay away from Piero. She has heard things about him that she believed was true. Watching Piero try to show Felicity that he isn’t the person she thinks he is will have you on the edge of your seat waiting to see what happens next. You will feel God working throughout this whole book. I had the honor to review this book for the author for a honest review. I would give this book a higher rating than a five star review if I could.

Piero loves traveling for his job as a photographer and Felicity is a makeup artist during some of the shoots he’s been on that he bowls over running late. She captures his attention. Will he break his 2 date rule and make the change from his reputation? She doesn’t like his reputation, but is what she assumed correct? A mysterious painting is delivered, similar to the rest so far. The mystery deepens.

I LOVED this book!! I'll admit, I've read it out of order, as I have it in paperback, and am catching up on my paperback TBR stack. Doesn't matter, still a great book, as it's totally a stand-alone!! I loved meeting Piero, and watching as he breaks down Felicity's barriers. Felicity is sure he's nothing but a playboy, but Piero is sooo much more!! I love his strong belief in God, and that Felicity is still growing in her faith, and willing to let Piero in on some of that.

Are first impression accurate? Inspiring romance with an international flair - travel to Dresden (Germany), Rome (Italy) and Paris, the City of Love. Discover whether Pierre and Felicity will over come their insecurities and trust each other or is it a Mistaken Identity (mistaken painting)? Believable characters, twist and turn plot, with a satisfying resolution. A Tuscan Legacy romance.

Bella Notte

I loved the way Felicity and Piero meet by actually running into each other. He is a photographer and she is the makeup artist for the models. She didn’t want to date him at first but will she give in? I enjoyed the book and loving the series. Interesting about the painting. I received an advanced copy of the book from the author.

This is the first Heather Gray book I have read, but not the last. I read this book in just a few hours. I loved Piero and Felicity from their first dramatic encounter to the last page of the book. I really enjoyed getting to know them and the different countries they traveled to for work. The sewer tour was the best it. Great book.

What a super love story. What a way to meet! Very well written and engaging from the first paragraph. Loved the dance between Piero (play boy???) and Felicity (too quick to judge???). The interaction and locations are so very well written. Highly recommend.

Lovely story well told.

I loved this story of a reformed playboy, Piero and a shy girl, Felicity hiding behind her job as a makeup artist. Then Piero notices Felicity and the chemistry between them is fierce. Still though the mystery of the anonymously pictures to solve.

Great story

Sometimes we don't realize how we appear to others by the way we act. When someone lets you know to how they think you are it hopefully will make you take a step back and change your ways. It just might be a message from God.

Stop Hiding is the theme. Which is what all of us do, whether we know it or not. This storyline develops the characters through this theme so well and confirms that we must trust in God’s Plan for us

I enjoyed getting to know another cousin in this big Italian family. The thread of mystery running through each of the books is the main attraction for me, however.
