Divine Instruction

Rate this book
Almost all books on theology, religious practices and beliefs, biblical interpretation, and Christianity in general are written by people who have a fifteen-page list of degrees, certifications, accomplishments, and years of experience. Ordinary people pick up these books and most are a little intimidated to say the least. “Of course this person can say this and say that it’s this easy. They have spent most of their lives learning and preparing for these things.” That’s why most books on Christianity are sold and read, but they do not really have a lasting impact on the reader.

That’s why “Divine Instruction” is different. My name is Jennifer Michiels and I am a twenty-seven year-old mother of three. I have no formal education in seminary or religion and I have no outstanding accomplishments that would make me seem any different from any other person. What does make me different, is that I am a Christian, and a child of God.

“Divine Instruction” is not a book written to teach you how to study the Bible. It is written to teach us how to get ourselves out of the way, so that God can teach us how to study the Bible. It is from one ordinary person to another and gives an account of my transformation from “on again, off again” Christian, to receiving God’s divine instruction, compelling me to help lead others to the same destination and blessings that He has shown me through the revelation of His word.
