This novelettino introduces an entirely new concept: a choose-your-own-adventure with only one, entirely linear, path through it. We are the hero, but where do we come from? What are we? Where are we going? And, more pertinently, when? And, more pressingly, where is our next continental breakfast coming from.

If choice is an illusion, and God doesn't play dice, then who is rolling the numbered cubes? Could it be the Jack of All Trades? Or the braised tofu vendor? And what's the significance of all these white goods?

Some or none of these questions are answered herein.
