I enjoyed all the stories in the set, very good characters, so pleased to see Blake has wrote more to the series, I shall be reading them soon.
To write a review I would spoil the stories. So anyone wanting to read a good tale about detectives with a twist this is the one.

Another 4 very good books with Stone and Dehan. Book 8 of the series was maybe a bit slower than than 5-7, but still very good reading. I continue to be impressed with the varied story lines in all of the Blake Banner books, as they keep you guessing to the very end.
No question the relationship between Stone and Dehan is really good and with each book they get just a bit more closer. Without question the last page of book 8 give you an idea where the subsequent books in this series are going. Can't wait to start book 9 and will be buy 9-12 as soon as I finish this review.
If anyone is looking for a good series of books involving Detectives and murders then these books are MUST READ.

Must read Blake Danner’s novels
I just completed eight grueling cold case novels involving John Stone and his partner Carmen Daren. They were awesome mainly because there were so many twists and turns. And then finally in novel # 8, Blake puts the finishing touches to what readers were looking for. These novels are tens in my opinion. Can’t wait for the next ones. Dr. C. 👍

Riveting
I have read the first eight stories and find them to be fascinating. Detectives Stone and his partner Carmen make an unbeatable team. I am always amazed at the outcome of each story in this series.. The stories are fast paced and entertaining. You too will be turning pages well into the night.

Fantastic characters and plots
I have read the first 8 stories and have enjoyed them immensely. I love the two partners dealing with cold cases. The stories have great plots and twists. I will be sad when I have read the entire series. The featured characters would make great TV personalities.

Cold Dead Series 5-8
Fabulous reading! I thoroughly enjoyed reading this story! Each of these cold cases leads you into a convoluted process of who did what to whom? How, when, where and why also include other questions? We have way too many suspects OR we now have no suspects!?!?!? I love it!

Just finished book 8 in the series. This author is new to me and I have started on book one and just finished number 8 and am getting ready to download number 9. Really love the writing and the characters. I will be telling my book friends to get this author.

Another excellent mystery
Each book in the series is exceptional. I really like how the two detectives bounce theories off each other. I don't read many mystery books the cold case series is awesome

I found these books, as with other Blake Banner stories, held my attention totally all throughout the read.

Great Series
I would give this 4.5 stars if I could. I love the way I can never guess the ending to each of the books thus far.
The plots are complex, the characters are believable and both Stone and Dehan are likable.

Death
Blake Banner has written a series of one of the best detective books I've read in years. Reminds me somewhat of Spade or The Untouchables. He has made the characters very likable. Whether you like cops or not you will enjoy these.

The twists and turns keep you turning the pages. Characters are always interesting. The relationship between John and Carmen is interesting. They read each other very well.
