Rate this book
Special Agent Kate Reid has rebounded from tragedy only to find herself facing a different kind of adversity.

Blackwaters (Book 4) “A dark river that seeks to conceal all that lies beneath its surface.”
The devastating blow suffered by the close-knit FBI team means the time has arrived for Kate Reid to come out of the shadow of her mentor and take the reins. While following up on a lead, Kate soon finds herself on the brink of an important breakthrough in the investigation—one that could bring her face to face with the Blackwater Killer. Without her team by her side, how will the rookie federal agent find a way out?

Endangered (Book 5) - A race begins to find a killer before he reaches his prey. When Agent Nick Scarborough’s old friend calls upon him to help locate his 12-year-old missing son, Agent Kate Reid knows this case will be different. And when it is discovered that the abductor is an ex-con who has been linked to another recent murder, Nick becomes desperate to track him down and rescue the boy before it’s too late.

The Pretty Ones (Book 6) -A string of inexplicable murders brings Special Agent Kate Reid back to familiar grounds.
It’s no secret Los Angeles is known for beautiful people, and when victims begin to turn up on the streets of South L.A., beauty seems to be the sole motivation of a vicious killer. With prompting from long-time friend and reporter, Marc Aguilar, Special Agent Kate Reid soon finds herself assisting the LAPD and Detective Ray Sharpe, a veteran homicide cop hesitant to relinquish control.

The mysteries continue in this second box set of the Kate Reid series. Grab your copy and save on this omnibus edition!

Kate's first case as a full agent coincides with an anniversary. This is another emotional, action packed and outstanding thriller that should not be missed.
Endangered
Non-stop action in the hunt for a child abductor in Kate's next case which brings her past to mind. New relationships and emotions are high. Nick is still reeling from a betrayal as well as an assessment of his relationship with Kate. Another exceptional read!
The Pretty Ones
From the start, this is a tightly wound and suspenseful thriller that begins to un-coil very late into the story with multiple twists leaving you guessing along the way . Kate begins new relationships and considers a specific path for her career. Superb writing!

These are 3 cracking stories with the character of Kate Reid. They show Kate’s enrollment into the FBI and she undergoes a probationary period through the 3 books.

It’s a tense time for Kate and I always enjoy the interplay with her colleagues and her personal life problems. She handles it all so well. They are all very exciting and tense thrillers. It’s difficult to put the books down.

Thoroughly recommended reading.

Amazing

I always felt like I’ve been through the wringer once I’m finished with a novel by this author. The stories are so full and real, it’s like you’re there with the characters the whole time.

Great again!

Enjoyed the books as usual, my only complaint is the stories don't last long enough but they still hold my attention.
