Stone Rush is the latest in the Stone Cold series by J D Weston featuring a now retired Harvey Stone, although it’s not too long before he is forced back into action and heads to Athens in this action packed story of human trafficking and.as he soon discovers he’s not the only one.Yet again the author has produced another tense thriller that will keep you on the edge of your seat as Harvey attempts to eliminate the gang responsible for the trafficking and bring to an end the death and torture of the refugees.
Once again I would like to thank John for the continued supply of excellent books and look forward to reading Stone Game.

Mostly enjoyed

Ok so I've read each book in succession and mostly enjoyed the read, let's face it who doesn't like a bit of action 😁 even if it's predictable which some of these books are. It amazes me just how much trouble follows our main character and the situations he and his friends find themselves in. I've given four stars to most of this series because I have enjoyed it so far but as I said, predictable.

I am a huge fan of John's writings however I was a little disappointed with this book.
Not that it was badly written or even a bad story line it just seemed more forced than his other works.
I still give it 4 stars but in my opinion (not that it counts for much) it is not as good as his previous Harvey Stone books.

This is the sixth book i've read so far in the series - this and the previous book i read in a day, on consecutive days.
I like the character Harvey Stone, who seems to become more rounded as his relationship with his co-worker develops.
Mr. Weston's books are fast-paced, action-filled, exciting page turners.
I thoroughly enjoyed this, and the previous five. Recommended.

Stone rush

Confusing from beginning to end but finally got cleared up better near the end. A surprise to see the hero defeated in a straight up hand battle but when you considered the condition from previous shots and fights it became plausible.

Harvey's back

I like the new characters and the relationship between Harvey and Melanie... Have the book a greater sense of danger.

Suspense..no action

A little too slow in the middle..too much time building suspense, then disappointing action. Not as riveting as the previous books.

Probably the weakest off the stories so far but I still like the Stone character. Melody is a nice addition but I want more about her.

Having read all the previous ones in this series and given either 4 or 5 stars this is the least believable of the series but I shall try the next one and hope the credibility improves.

Brilliant

I can't get enough of these books. I read the books where Harvey lived with his foster dad, but now he's working for Frank great team
