I’ve put this project on hold for the time being. As you might’ve seen on social media, I wasn’t in a great headspace for the past couple of years, and I’m not sure if that’s why I struggled with this book or if I struggled because the story just wasn’t good. I spent six months working and only got 32K words done. Unfortunately, I hated most of it and finally decided to back away.

You have every right to be angry. I’m incredibly sorry that I couldn’t get a handle on how to fix the problems, but I really did try, and I will try again. In time. I haven’t given up. I know the story is there.

But I’ve forced books before and they flop every time. It’s not worth it. Readers always know when an author wasn’t connecting.

the pinterest board has me drooling please give this to me right now!!

just a couple things:
- on the pinterest board there's a lot of drug use and i really hope PD doesn't romanticise it bc it's hard enough as it is to not find people doing drugs attractive (genuinely, the positive/sexy portrayal of it needs to stop)
- the number of handcuffs on the pinterest board is...nice kekek
