Her innocence is clear as day. My desire to dominate is in overdrive. It’s instalust. Not going to deny it. And why should I? We both deserve this. Need this. Her recent break-up. My messed up past. It was supposed to be one night. It’s become something more. But when I find out who her ex is…

The first few chapters of this book caught my genuine interest but I lost all hope from there. Hazel landed in Hawaii for her friends wedding and soon after, her boyfriend broke things off with her. (Her boyfriend is also the best friend of the bride-to-be). Standing at the bar, waiting for drinks at said friend's bachelorette party, Hazel meets Bain. He's handsome, sexy & suggestive remarks result in a one night stand. The antics of the following day is where this story lost me. Her whiny friend & her ex (the bride`s best friend) are just too much for me. They are selfish, irritating people, so self-absorbed that I'm surprised anyone could stand to be around them. At this point the story rushed by me, almost like it was in desperate need for an ending. I can't say that I know very much about the main characters except that they were kind to each other. I would have enjoyed this book if there was more depth to both the characters & plot lines.
Billionaire Package by Kira Blakely and Emily Bishop a five-star read that will leave you hot and bothered in a good way. These are two great authors so when I saw them writing together I knew I had to have it and read it as soon as it hit my Kindle and I’m so glad I read it straight away as I loved it!! Hazel was so much fun, she really did just want to have fun in Hawaii after a terrible time, and why not throw caution to the wind and go a little crazy, would we all, the sun, the sea the hotties?? Bain is just what you need for a short and fun read that will leave you planning a trip.
A short novella that pulled me in from the start. I don’t think there is any book that Kira Blakely has written that I haven’t liked. The Billionaire’s Package is a great addition. I loved the chemistry between Bain and Hazel. It was loaded with so much heat…you could feel the sizzle. You won’t want stop reading until you find out how and if they get their HEA!! I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.
And even knowing it was a novella, I still went ahead and dived in 🙄🙄🙄
Hazel Wright gets dumped by her ex boyfriend on a beach in Hawaii, but what happens next is a whirlwind of events (novellas pack so much in); one minute she’s forcing herself to enjoy her friend’s bachelorette party the next she’s slinking off to the penthouse with the sexy man that is Bain Mitchell, thinking he’s one of the strippers she goes willingly... it’s supposed to be a one night stand, or so she thinks, but when Bain realises who her ex is all hell breaks loose and Hazel is left on her own with her emotions.
Like I said, I hate novellas, just too much story in so few pages, and then it’s over and you feel like you’ve experienced four seasons in one day!
This novella is a quick read with great love (sex) scenes, but little else. I struggle with instant lust / love stories and this was an extreme situation. I wanted to like Hazel and Bain but there simply wasn't enough time to get to know them. All the details about them were crammed in to sometimes odd paragraphs between the action. The accompanying characters like Carly and Jacob are just completely unlikeable, and not for no reason, but yikes. I knew exactly where the story was headed and am hoping that the instant love because of pregnancy trope settles down soon. The themes I'm left with on this one are too much and not enough. It's a sexy, quick read if you need a novella and like these authors.
This book lacked real emotion. There was no connection or chemistry between the characters and the sex scenes felt like it was just sex.
A woman meets a gorgeous man and has hot steamy sex with him. Not unheard of. Actually, its very common. What wasn't common is the lack of steam. Even the sex scenes fell flat. How. Does this even happen?
The plot was lacking and uneventful. The big shocking surprise was predictable and the ending was just plain boring and there was no real conclusion. I'm glad that this was free because I might have asked for my money back 1/4 way through.
I liked the story line but it just stopped. Then tried to get the extended epilogue and can't. Glad I only paid what I did. It's things like that makes me mad and not buy other books from this author
I really enjoyed this romance between Hazel and Bain. Hazel was in Hawaii for her friend's wedding when her boyfriend broke up with her. Jacob told her he was seeing someone else and she wasn't enough for him. Hazel had been seeing him for two years and would leave but she was a bridesmaid but Jacob was also in the wedding. Hazel was really not interested in the bachelorette party or the strippers. When Hazel goes to the bar for another drink, she meets a handsome man who she thinks is one of the strippers. Bain owns the resort and likes to make sure things are running smoothly. When he sees Hazel, he wants her and when he asks her back to his room, she agrees to get away from the party and forget her heartbreak. Hazel thinks it will be a one night stand, but Bail finds her again and wants to spend time with her. The day of the wedding, Bain goes to her room to escort her to the wedding, but Jacob shows up and tells her Bain is his brother. Hazel is humiliated and flees back to New York. Three months later, Hazel learns she is pregnant and unsure how to contact Bain to tell him. Bain can't forget Hazel and when Jacob tells him she is pregnant, Bain knows he has to find her. I like this story. I really disliked Jacob and thought he was a real jerk. I liked Bain and thought he overcame so much in his life and really loved Hazel. Hazel understood how affected Bain was by his family and loved him even though he might have made mistakes in his past. Good one.
Hazel has it rough. While at the weekend getaway for Carly’s wedding Hazel is dumped by her boyfriend Jacob. She is not interested in the parties. She was not into it. She was trying to be there for her friend. While the strippers were entertaining the ladies Hazel went to the bar. While at the bar this man walks up to her and she has felt something she never has. One touch and the man wanted her. He talked her into leaving with him. Hazel never had a one night stand before. This was something she couldn’t turn down. After a memorable night together she left. The next day she was on the beach taking photos her mystery man shows up and he takes her to somewhere secluded. She was telling him about her ex. He had other things in mind. While enjoying theirs sexual time they hears something or someone near. The next day the wedding was happening and Carly shows up with Hazel’s ex Jacob. They never exchanged full names. Bain is her ex-Jacob’s older brother. This changed everything. Hazel ran and Bain went after her. While back in NY Hazel got the surprise of her life. Carly showed up at her apartment looking horrible. Carly apologized to Hazel and told her everything from an annulment to her and Jacob being together. Hazel told Carly about the baby. She didn’t know if she was going to look for the father. Of course Jacob went to Bain and tell him about the baby and how it was his baby. Bain came for Hazel and wanted answers.
This is one wonderful short story about Bain and Hazel. Hazel is at her friends wedding in Hawaii and her boyfriend Jacob breaks up with her on the beach after arriving! What a jerk, who does that? Hazel is having a hard time adjusting and gets a bit lost in the mix at the bachelorette party and ends up leaving with a man that is hot and sexy. So not her thing but ends up feeling free about her decision. Things heat up quickly between them but with secrets it’s never good. Her ex is closer than she wants and he causes nothing but issues for her and she ends up leaving Hawaii heartbroken. Some time goes by and both Bain and Hazel miss one another but just leave each other alone. Bain is a very successful man who was adopted and never felt part of the family and Hazel lost her family and grew up in the foster system. These two have alot in common but never took the time to figure things out. Can a little separation have them see their errors? I enjoyed the epilogue offered at the end of this story and I must say what happened between the brothers is PERFECT, it’s what Bain needed for the right reasons!! Beautiful quick loving story. I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.
In this short novella we have Hazel, who is in Hawaii for her friends wedding, as she is a bridesmaid. Her boyfriend, Jacob, broke up with her the minute they landed. It seems that they bride, Carly, just wants her bridesmaids there to serve her, get me this, get me that. When they are out for the bachelorette party that is all Hazel does, fetches everything for the other bridesmaids and the bride.
While at the bachelorette party, Hazel goes to the bar to get more drinks for the girls, and meets a handsomely stranger who is interested in her, genuinely interested in her. Hazel isn’t quite sure what to do, as she’s only had one boyfriend who just broke up with her.
Bain, is a tall muscular stranger that owns the hotel property where they are at. Hazel doesn’t know this of course. He’s just a man in a suit at the bar. Bain likes Hazel right away, and asks her to come with him to his hotel room. Hazel isn't quite sure. She goes with him as she wants to forget all the pain she’s been through the past few days.
Hazel seems like a great young lady who is 10 yrs younger than Bain. Will Hazel and bAin be able to make things work out? Will Carly be able to realize friendships are worth more than she is given Hazel?
Wow! Starts off hot and ends with what I can only say is a very HEA. Bain has a past but who doesn't? He has moved past that and has made a very lucrative life. While checking in on a bridal party celebration he spots Hazel. OMG...she is hilarious! The bridal party is watching strippers and has anyone ever been more uncomfortable in their lives. Bain watches with humor and when opportunity presents itself he smoothly inserts himself. Yeah, she believes he's a stripper although it couldn't be farther from the truth. But come on. It's an attraction he is not willing to step aside for anything.
The characters chemistry is outstanding. But when he finds out who her ex is....things get dicey. This is a quick, steamy romance with some very likable characters. Let's not forget a jerk added into the mix. But what truly matters is that the ending is all it should be. Thoroughly enjoyable.
Hazel is in Hawaii for a friend's wedding but her boyfriend dumps her after they get there. Not feeling in the party mood she doesn't really enjoy the strip clubs for the bachelorette party. Bain sees Hazel across the room and follows her to the bar to get closer to her. Hazel thinks he is a stripper and doesn't take him too serious about his pursuit of her. But she doesn't want to return to the girls so Bain leads them up to his room. They share a hot night together but Hazel is gone in the morning. Her supposed friends treat her awful because she had disappeared the night before and she runs into Bain again. What will happen between them when Hazel learns who Bain really is?
This was a great story once I started it I couldn't put it down. The chemistry between Bain and Hazel is off the charts hot. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend it to any book lover.
Hazel meets Bain at the Hawaiian resort her friend was getting married at. She thought he was someone else and he didn’t bother to correct her as the chemistry between them was off the charts.
Because she had just been dumped by her emotionally abusive boyfriend, she saw no harm in a little fun.
Next day, things got complicated real fast when she learns who Bain really is and her so-called friend throws her out of her wedding at her ex-boyfriends insistence.
She’s had enough of everyone and flees back home. Then, things get really complicated.
This was a decent read. I hated the ex as he was just spiteful for no reason about everything, although it was him who did the dumping!😡 Would have been better with a bit more background on the characters, but then it would have been a much longer book.
This was a sweet and quick read with a bit of secrets along the way. Hazel and Brian are great. This is a well written book and very entertaining. The characters have such great chemistry. I enjoy both of these authors and found that when they collaborated on this book it was seamless. MY heart went out to both of them for what they have been through in the past. Hazel's ex had me wanting to slap him. Really breaking up with her at a wedding? And then continuing to cause her sorrow. The connection between Hazel and Brian is so steamy and hot. Can they find a way to overcome the bumps along the way and find their HEA? A definite must read for fans of Ms Blakely and Ms Bishop. I found the epilogue wrapped everything up beautifully. Loved the HEA!
Excellent contemporary billionaire romance. This was a very unique story. Hazel has a poor image of herself and it didn’t help that her boyfriend of 2 years dumped her as soon as they got to Hawaii for her & her ex’s friend. Her ex always made her feel bad but she thought their relationship was real. Hazel mistakes Bain as one of the strippers for her friends batchlorette party. She has what she thinks is a one night stand but Bain has other ideas. This book was very enjoyable to read. It is a novella with an extended epilogue. It’s also a stand alone with a HEA. I received a complementary copy of this book and chose to write a review. I look forward to reading future books by these two authors.
Hazel has no family and few friends. She’s in Hawaii as a member of a friend’s wedding party. Upon arrival her boyfriend breaks up with her something she never saw coming. Bain is the adopted son of a cold family and is the owner of the hotel the wedding is being held in but Hazel assumes he’s one of the male dancers for the bride’s entertainment. Bain discovers he has a strong attachment to Hazel. They communicate well and she ends up spilling her story to him but they are in for a shock that drives a wedge between them before their love could really get started and Hazel flees the island. How will they resolve this problem that’s come between them? Can it be resolved so they can find their HEA. I received an ARC and am willingly reviewing this delightful story.
Bridesmaid Hazel Wright is in Hawaii for a wedding when she gets dumped by her boyfriend Jacob. When a mysterious stripper tells Hazel "I'll make it disappear, Hazel. All the shit you're feeling, all the pain. I'll replace it with the sweetest pleasure", Hazel says "Yes." Billionaire resort owner Bain Mitchell has a one night stand with the beautiful Hazel but thinks "I have to have more of this" and he's the type of guy who always gets what he wants. But before Bain can come clean with Hazel on who he is, all his secrets are exposed. Is this the end for Hazel and Bain?
Kira Blakely and Emily Bishop deliver a fun, angsty and steamy story that will entertain you. Be sure to download the extended epilogue at the end
Now this was a great book from Kira and Emily! Between heartbreak and sheer fortitude, Hazel is determined to enjoy her best freind's wedding. When a stripper at the bachelorette party, or so she thinks, propositions her, she decides to play along. Thus beings a whirlwind attraction of lust that quickly develop feelings. This book will take you on one heck of a ride and I for one really enjoyed it! I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy of this book. Hero, Bain = 5/5 Heroine, Hazel = 5/5 Chemistry, = 5/5 Sex = 5/5 Plot = 4/5 Mystery = 2/5 Action = 1/5 Darkness = 2/5 Humor = 2/5 POV = dual Would I recommend this book = yes Would I Re-read this book = yes Would I read future books by this author = yes
Here’s my take: if your looking for a quick, raunchy, uncomplicated story of lust and passion I would definitely suggest this book. Yes, the characters are extremely cliche and there is not much to the plot (how could there be? It’s so short). Sure, there are major gaps in backstory and character development, as well as unbelievable resolutions (the reasons for my lower rating). But, sometimes a steamy, oversimplified story is in order!
Note: I began this a little after midnight thinking I’d read for just a few minutes. I read the entire story in one sitting (took a little over an hour). It was nice to finish without getting wrapped up for days. Strangely refreshing.
This was a rather insipid romance with a highly predictable story and outcome. By the story blurb I was expecting a 50 Shades ripoff. Not so much dominance as I expected - actually no BDSM at all.
Nothing the man did was dominating in the sex scenes; it was merely the man leading in sex. If the author considers the man leading in bed as dominating, then I wonder what she considers vanilla sex.
If I had not received this book for free I would have never read it. I know that this is a fantasy, and that I am not the targeted audience. Thankfully this was a short, quick read and I would have felt cheated had I paid full price for this book.
Not much to say about this story. IT IS AMAZING. I just fell in love with the story and the characters. It is so very well written and the storyline and plot are great. Characters are really loveable and well described. They develop nicely through the book. It is a emotion filled story with twists that makes it worth the read. It is passionate, romantic, fun, hot, emotional and filled with issues about trusting others. It has heartbreak, hotness, steamy scenes, passion, hint of drama and twists that makes you sit on the edge. Very captivating from start to finish.
4 stars I purchased Billionaire's Package by Kira Blakely and Emily Bishop and this review was given freely. This is a falling in love with the ex boyfriend's brother and an unplanned pregnancy short romance. Bridesmaid Hazel and resort owner and former bad boy rebel now billionaire Bain have a life changing steamy encounter when Hazel goes to Hawaii for her roommates wedding. This is a complicated and twisted tale with many interlinking relationships. It ends abruptly but the separate extended epilogue provides a bitter sweet closure.
This is a quick novella by these two. Hazel is in Hawaii for her friend's wedding when she meets Bain. He wants to make her forget whatever is making her sad. They have a hot and steamy night together and when he runs into her the next day, they have some more fun. When all is revealed, it definitely hits the fan. This is a short and cute story about two people who are perfect for each other. They have undeniable chemistry and a strong connection. It is an insta lust romance story told from both pov.
Great short well written story with good characters and twists even if it seems simple. I liked that I was surprise by the twist. Hazel had been dumped by her boyfriend in Hawai during her bestfriend wedding. During the bachelorette party, she meets Bain and she sleeps with him, thinking is a stripteaser. They have several sex accounters even if, at first, she thinks it’s a fling. But then she discovers who he is, she feels more betrayed than before. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
I received a copy of this book via the author and am voluntarily leaving a review.
A really quick yet lovely read. 💕💓💕
I really enjoyed this book! It made me giggle, cry, pant, and sigh and that's quite the feat for an only ten chapter long book. 💜 Hazel is supposed to be having tons of fun but her awful boyfriend dumps her before it can start. And then she meets Bain and they are just what each need. Although this is a novella, it really doesn't feel like it. The story flows, wonderfully, and it yet it is really well developed. 💖😍💖
Mistaken identity and a jilted lover sums up the entire quick read. Hazel thinks Bain is one of the strippers at the bachelorette party for her friend during the destination wedding in Hawaii. But low and behold he is a billionaire who knows what to do with his package. While the sex scenes were great and the premise of the story was very cute the characters lacked the usual spark that I am used to seeing with these authors. The story could have used a little bit more in the sense of connecting the past with the present. Still a good read.
This book starts off with a cute premise-bridesmaid confuses man as a stripper at the hen's party. But is so much more than that! Hazel is blissfully unaware of how messed up some relationships have gotten. She has a one night stand with Bain, and the tension between these two is divine. Throw in a crappy bf and ex, and it really gets nasty. Loved the family aspect in the epilogue, and how Bain grows into Hazel's match. Great read; short but well-developed.
I received an arc of this book and have voluntarily reviewed it.
Hazel… Really? You thought he was a stripper? Never mind. That was one of the funniest bar conversations I’ve read in a long time. And one of the hottest one-night-stands… And you, my dear, are the Queen of Overthink.
Oh, and he’s not a stripper. And you, sweet Hazel are about to rock his world. And make him believe again…
They had me at dancing on the beach. They sealed the deal with the whole crazy way the story ended. Bottom line: Happy Ever After. 5 stars.
