UNLESS you have been living under a rock for the past few years, you should know all about the quirky Fantastic Beasts franchise, a spin-off from the wildly successful Harry Potter series.
There are set to be five movies under the Fantastic Beasts banner and if, like me, seeing the movie simply isn’t enough to quench your thirst for magic - this book is right up your (Diagon) alley!
The book opens up with a short recap of the previous movie, its characters and their progression. From there, you will find features on new and old characters alike, their intricate costumes, the on-set tricks, beasts, wands and the vastly detailed sets themselves.
The hardback book is also filled with dozens of gorgeous extra goodies, from stickers and mock pamphlets to book launches and wizarding magazine covers.

I am always so amazed by all the details that are thought about in the making of these movies. It's incredible to witness the wizarding world coming to life with costumes, props and set designs. Crimes of Grindelwald is a very beautiful movie, but the story is hard to understand. This book was a perfect explanation of what happened in the movie and it shows all the behind-the-scenes magic. Every page is filled with pictures, small props, concept ideas and quotes from actors or film crew. Definitely a must for any fan of the Harry Potter world!

“Cine mágico 4: Los crímenes de Grindelwald” se trata de un libro con preciosas fotos que hace un recorrido a través de la película para así explicar cómo se ha realizado la misma.
Tengo que decir que he disfrutado de principio a fin con cada una de estas páginas porque las fotografías son tan maravillosas que te hacen sentir como si estuvieras viendo de nuevo la película. Además, las explicaciones y anécdotas que encontramos en este libro me han hecho darme cuenta del gran trabajo que hay tras una película como esta. Las diferentes curiosidades han despertado mi interés por el cine.
En el libro podemos encontrar desde cómo han realizado un escenario hasta cómo eligieron las vestimentas d e los personajes. Lo que más me llamó la atención fue como crearon a los animales fantásticos a partir de la tecnología, los actores son todos unos grandes artistas ya que la mayoría de las cosas tienen que imaginarlas.
Ha sido toda una experiencia conocer de cerca tantos detalles de este maravilloso mundo mágico, que además gracias a la edición del libro, en la que encontramos diferentes elementos como postales, pegatinas y tarjetas, hacen que en su conjunto la lectura sea muy interesante y amena.
En conclusión, si os gusta todo lo relacionado con este impresionante mundo, os lo recomiendo, ya que te sumergirá de nuevo en él. Es un libro realmente precioso, con una lectura muy rápida.
Ten en cuenta que si no has visto las películas puedes spoilearte.

There were so many details that I missed that I thought I didn't see before when I read the original screenplay, but this book takes it to a whole new level. I learned so much when they were shooting the scenes, about the costumes, the building designs and so much more yet I wasn't bored and constantly thought to myself that this really is so much fun.
It was definitely a good idea that I took it upon myself to read the original screenplay right before I read this book because not only was everything so fresh from my memory but its the lasting effect that there's nowhere I'd rather spend my weekend than reading these two magical books that contains so much of the fantastic beasts and the characters that are there too.
I learned so much that I wouldn't have ever known if I were just to stick with watching the movies alone and I'm so glad that I got the opportunity to pick this book up because it was really amazing and don't hate me for saying this yet again but it was really just utterly magical!

When I saw this book I figured that it was going to be a pretty light read; the cover has more structure than the page count and it’s that size of smaller illustrated book that is generally aimed towards a younger audience. Yet, I was pleasantly surprised at how full of information and imagery it was! Author Jody Revenson takes us through a comprehensive tour of the second Fantastic Beasts film, covering the range of characters and creatures, while painting a vivid picture of the carefully designed scenery. Her language throughout is light enough in tone that it would be accessible for pretty young readers, but doesn’t skew so young that adults can’t also enjoy delving back into the details of the film. Each section is unavoidably short so that she could cover the pretty expansive narrative of the film, but each page and section is carefully curated to include film stills, production artwork, her narrative, and pop-out quotes. Added to that myriad are touches of pop-out and overlaid pieces, which creates a richness and whimsy to the scrapbook-like design layout. Of course, I would have liked more content and more analysis, since we’re reading the book from an adult perspective, but I still thought this was a rather complete book overall.

Another beautifully constructed, informative, fun to read Harry Potter guide from Revenson. There are many photographs, of both characters and locations and artistic renditions of props and costumes. Included throughout the book are many prop replicas as well, such as tickets to the Circus Arcanus, posters and stickers.
Many of the characters were profiled in this book, with a lot of interviews and behind the scenes information offered by cast members. Some of my favorite profiles, from Jude Law and Eddie Redmayne, talked about things like creating the scenes with the creatures, Dumbledore's motivations and how they saw their characters now.
If you have even just a passing interest in this series, give this book a try. If you are a lifelong fan, you will love this book.

A super cool, immersive, interactive book for a spin-off series I wasn’t sure I liked all that much anyways.
It comes with posters, stickers, ticket stubs, all sorts of cool stuff in here. Behind the scenes filming, guides to the magical creatures new to this movie, a guide to everyone’s wands and what they look like.
A gorgeous hardcover, thick pages, great quality. A must for any magical shelf in your home.

This is a fun book giving a behind-the-scenes look at the filming of the 2nd installment of the Fantastic Beasts franchise. Lots of photos, interviews and a few pull-out collectibles of wizardly advertisements and a Ministry of Magic Visitor I.D. Now I want to watch the movie again to see all the details that I missed!

Tak, čo si budeme - kniha popisuje film, ktorý za veľa nestál a v podsate neprináša nič nového ani zaujímavého.
Nie je to chyba knihy. Proste je to snaha vytrieskať z filmov ešte viac peňazí, aby sa im oplatilo vobec sfilmovať ďalšie časti FZ.
Veľa pekných obrázkov z filmu, pár popiskov, zaujímavá časť s prútikmi a to je asi všetko.

Υπέροχο βιβλίο με καταπληκτική εικονογράφηση! Περιέχει πολλές πληροφορίες και από τις δύο ταινίες καθώς και έξτρα πληροφορίες που δεν είχαν αναφερθεί! Πιστεύω πως είναι ένα υπέροχο δώρο για τους λάτρεις του wizarding world.

I bet the movie has gotten people all confused, and this is a lifesaver. This book really shows details of how the movie is made, and how the characters really came to be, like how can they ignore the fact that Newt has published his book and is now a famous author? And they certainly missed a lot of details in the movie!
In this movie magic book, we get to see how the team brainstormed the characters' outfits, their styles and the sets and decorations! It is certainly very eye-opening, knowing that the team paid attention to the tiniest details!
The best part of this is definitely the part where they introduced the new characters' wands! I love looking at different wands and each one is delicately crafted to suit each's needs and their personalities!
Overall, this is pretty fun to read, revising the parts in the movie with more explanations, I understand the movie a little more now after this very much needed companion!
