Hal Spacejock (who is perfectly named) is at it again.
Oh boy, is Hal ever in trouble now! Kidnapped by two thugs with a van, he is tied up, has a sack put over his head and he's taken to a place where he's tied to a chair. Next he gets to meet a man called Mr. Cooper. Cooper is a nasty piece of work. An old career criminal who has money and power, but who seems for some reason to think that Hal is a guy named Stewart Pydd, whoever that is?
On top of all that, he has forgotten to collect Clunk; his robot companion; from baggage collection. Clunk will never forgive him for that! Clunk had traveled as luggage because they only had enough money for Hal to get a normal ticket.
Hal is helped to escape from Cooper and his thugs by a woman named Sable, who turns out to be a special agent from a group intent on bringing Cooper in to justice. The problem is, she also thinks that Hal is Pydd.
This is a brilliant story and I didn't want it to end. Nor did I want to put the book down. Hal looking like Pydd has hilarious consequences and I laughed out loud a number of times!.
This story was full of fun, heroics and explosions. There is a lot of chasing and surprises on top of surprises. I loved it!
I think the Hal Spacejock series is one of the best comedy scifi's out there right now.

A robot revolution, an intergalactic battle, no money and a super vilain. Business as usual for Mr. Spacejock, the Navcom and Clunk. Just an ordinary day... 😏
