Bellamy: My life was supposed to be so simple; getting the rest of my inheritance at 25. I would invest it in my music career and become history, literally. What I didn’t expect was to find out that everything I believed to be true about my family was a complete lie. I didn’t expect to find out that I had a half-sister by my real father; a man that was the devil reincarnate. I didn’t expect to find that I had family who had run a criminal MC club in Texas. And I sure as heck didn’t expect to be thrown full force into the MC life from the time I walked into Bubba's and revealed who I was. I was no longer a daughter, friend, and singer. I was Bellamy Mason, sister-in-law of the Skulls Renegade MC Prez, and I had a target on my back. But there was something else that hit me like a ton of bricks too, and his name was Abe “Butch” Warren. And let me tell you, he was a pleasant surprise.
Butch: She walked through that fuckin’ bar just like her sister did. Her red hair flowing down her back, that ass that I wanna take a bite out of. Those were the thoughts I had about her before I got to know Bellamy. I don’t know what it was, but the fuckin’ second my eyes locked on hers she was mine. She was pure, she was innocent – she wasn’t cut for this lifestyle, and I knew that. Here’s the thing, I’m not cut out for relationships and Bellamy Mason is not a girl you just fuck. She’s the real deal, the girl you take home to your momma, the one you lock down as soon as you can. I was bringing danger to her doorstep, and she had no idea. I knew the risks, and I ignored them. Selfishly, I wanted her. What will destroy us first; my enemies, or my need to not define us?

So "Relentless" is Book Four in the Skulls Renegade saga and it was another worthy addition to what is fast becoming a favourite series for me. This edition revolves around Elana's newly discovered half-sister Bellamy; a rising star in the music industry and Butch/Abe a member of the skulls who along with Slasher has been sent as hired muscle for Bells protection while she's on tour. This one's a bit different in as much that Bell has no experience of the MC lifestyle. She a lot more naive than previous heroines but what she lacks in street smarts she more than makes up for it in sweet sugar. Bell discovers after her unfortunate parents demise that her original origins are something totally different from what she thought and left alone in the world desperately want to connect with and forge ahead to build a relationship with her newly discovered sister. So that's the basic gist here Bells goes looking for her sister and with now being connected to a notorious MC Bell gains there protection as a much-needed by-product caused by her new family additions. So loved Bellamy adored Abe and even Slasher himself started to appeal to my girly giddiness. Especially now he's gone all dark, broody and imperfect. He really came into his own here and I'm so looking forward to his story being next up with Reckoning; can't wait for that one. So, I really enjoyed "Relentless" like a lot and it was so easy to feel and connect with Abe and Bell as they were such likeable individuals that you just wanted to succeed in life's lotto. I loved that the continuing storyline of the previous novels was also interwoven here with the MC itself in a web of confusion over what has befallen Bones and Will. This was also off the charts in terms of spice and while I did enjoy Bell and Butch's sexy shenanigans I was also slightly sceptical of the logistics at times given Bellamy's past record was basically her douche ex Zac. In the end, I just went with the flow and enjoyed myself immensely (it is fiction after all) while also fanning myself frantically; mama mia these two had some seriously epic encounters here I must say. This had a bit of everything and easily managed to capture and retain my interest quite easily. This series, in my opinion, does need to be read as that; with each book adding a chunk of the puzzle almost building us a bigger picture. And as I said earlier; really looking forward to Slashers book especially with how events played out with this one. definitely a big thumbs up from my corner. Thank You to the Author for providing me with an ARC copy of "Relentless (Skulls Renegade, #4)" of which I have reviewed voluntary. For sake of saving time, I’m going to write this review as a list.
What I liked: the characters were likable. Butch and Bellamy were ok, nothing special. Slasher was good, though. He was funny and sweet, but sometimes jerkish and grumpy. His behavior seemed the most natural and believable out of everyone in the book.
What I didn’t like: 1. It was practically all telling and no showing, which made it so slow and dull that it took me three days to finish when it should’ve taken one afternoon. Seemingly important scenes kept dropping before anything significant happened, and were always wrapped up with “then we did this and then we did that” type of conclusion. It was very anticlimactic.
2. Butch and Bell’s romance was contrived. I never felt the connection or why they even liked each other, especially Bell. She almost never thought of Butch when outside of his company, but was head over heels when he was around. And their insta-lust turned to insta-love was too fast to be believable. Just because the author writes that the characters stayed up all night talking and learning about each other, didn’t mean I was convinced. Scenes like that are important to the reader if we’re supposed to feel connected to the story. I didn’t.
3. So! Many! Exclamation! Points! This is a personal preference, but I get annoyed when exclamation points are used to excess outside of character dialogue. And the quote, “An exclamation point is like laughing at your own joke” exists for a reason.
4. “H-E-double hockey sticks.” I looked past when Bell would think “fudge” instead of the f-word, but this was going too far. Just say hell. I realize that Bell’s hesitancy to use swear words was a way of portraying her innocence and naivety to the reader, and that brings me to my next point:
5. Sweet, innocent, only-ever-been-with-one-man-and-the-last-time-was-months-ago Bell, doesn’t just turn into a vixen during sex, she turns into a professional porn star. They have anal sex two times in the book, and neither time is she prepped or lube used. Worst of all, during one of those times, Butch also fists Bell while having sex outside on his motorcycle. The chick has very little experience and has been celibate for several months, but he manages to get his fist into her while still in her backdoor without any lube or prep? That doesn’t happen without some serious injuries and pain.
Just, no.
The woman can take a D in her A while there's a fist in her V, but she's too delicate to even think the word "hell"? That's about as believable as a heroin addict avoiding pot because that shit will fry your brain.
6. The writing was bouncy. It had characters going from one situation to another and I had no idea how they got there because the descriptions were too vague.
7. This is me being super-duper picky, but I’ll list it anyway. I’m from the Philadelphia/Camden area. They are literally a three minute drive from each other, all you need to do is cross the bridge. Considering Bell and the band she toured with were interviewed by tabloids, I got the impression they were pretty famous. And unless a musician or band is unknown, almost garage band status, never are two shows scheduled in both locations so close to each other.
8. None of the conflicts in the story were resolved. The unsolved murder of Bell’s parents? Nothing. The threat of Bell’s ex-boyfriend releasing their sex tape? Nothing. Bell’s insecurities about the one time she saw a club whore touching Butch? Never discussed. The disappearance of Bones and Reed’s dad? They say they’re searching for them, but that’s it. The aftermath of Bell and Slasher’s kidnapping and torture? Yeah, they get out, but I still A) have no idea why what happened happened and B) the club never discusses retribution for any of it. It made no sense.
I'm clearly in the minority here, because I just couldn't get into this book. I haven’t read the previous books in the series, and if I had time I would’ve tried, because even though it’s claimed this can be read as a standalone, there were too many references to characters and events from the previous books for me to know what was going on. I plan on trying this author again in the distant future, but it was too sloppy and slow for me to take that chance anytime soon.

This author has become a favorite over the past couple of months!!!! I adored everything about Bellamy and Butch, they were so perfect for each other.
My only issue was the Epilogue, it was great but for me I needed and wanted more so I hope to see more of them in the future because they deserve all the bells and whistles in life aka marriage and babies, lol.....
Relentless by Elizabeth Knox is book Four in the Skulls Renegade MC series. This is the story of Bellamy and Abe 'Butch'. You really do need to read the other books to fully understand and enjoy this one. Bellamy had great parents but they are now past away. While working toward getting her inheritance she started her music career. When the last of her inheritance was given to her on her 25 birthday two letters from her parents were there for her too. In the letter from her mother she learned that the father she knew was not her real father. That he was a awful man who was the Prez of a MC Gang also that she had a half sister. When she went to find her half sister who was married to the Prez of the Skulls Renegade it put her life in danger. Not from the club or her sister but from a revival gang that might want to hurt her because of her new connections to the Skulls. So Abe was put in place to protect her along with another member. But Abe and Bellamy had sparks fly from the first moment they met...but Bellamy had been hurt before by her one and only real boyfriend...can she trust the biker named Abe? Loved this book!
Butch knows how to put his woman in her place, "I walk over to her, planting my arms on both sides of her legs. “A stranger, with whom you want to do a lot more with, and we both know it. So, let’s get this straight right now, Sugar. You and I are not strangers, and we’re da*n well not going to be.” Butch leaves no room for arguments, “no buts. You want the puppy, the puppy likes you, I want you to have the puppy, and my Ma wants you to have the puppy. So, you’re getting a da*n puppy. I’ll ask again, what are you gonna call her?” I liked this book, Butch was such a caveman.
Bellamy lost her parents and learns she has a sister. She is a singer whose ex is determined to ruin her career. When she meets her sister, she gains an entire MC family. They always protect family. When danger comes, Butch and Slasher are sent to keep her safe. This sets things in motion to change her life forever.
Will her Ex be successful in ruining her career? Can Butch keep her safe? Will Slasher be able to get past what happened?
Excellent writing

This book became my favorite because music was involved. This series has not been like the typical MC series. I think this one was my favorite MC series.
~~~~~~~~~~Tracy's ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Review~~~~~~~~~~
Bellamy's life is now upside down and she is in a danger she never expected when she is pulled into her new sister's life. So when she gets a security detail in the form of two hot MC bikers she knows that her life is not going to be the same. Hurt by a man who promised to love her she doesn't trust Butch easy and when trouble comes knocking she doubts she will even survive. Great story with amazing characters.
Having read all four of these books in only 2 days I can see just how much this series has evolved. I think each book got a little bit deeper. Now Relentless was the complete opposite of Revenge and other past books though. I loved that it wasn't set primary at the MC, but we got to see Bellamy's lifestyle and got to experience Butch and Slasher outside of the MC life. Of all of the romances we've seen so far I really think that this one was the sweetest. Bellamy seemed just so innocent and she'd been so wronged by her Ex. I love that Butch swooped in and helped her naughty side come out.
Butch and Bell were something else! I loved these two as a pair so much, because they are so very different. I love how he helped to boost her confidence, and how she really picked him up. These two were really two characters that were at the end of their ropes and they really helped each other. I also loved how excited he was to see her as a person and in her own light. He was just so confident in her.
Then we got to see how she interacted with the MC. These girls at the MC are the best, they accepted her with open arms! She fit right in and wasn't afraid to be herself. I love how she really let herself go and felt free to be who she wanted to be with the club. This club is truly a bunch of family members and she instantly became another family member they needed. Apart from Butch and Bellamy, I also love the relationship that she developed with Slasher. I really can't wait to see what will come of his story!
Relentless was my first read from Elizabeth Knox and it certainly won’t be my last! A hot, sweet, and captivating story I was quickly sucked into this book and couldn’t put it down. Having not yet read the other books in the series, I can safely say this works as a stand-alone. While there were things mentioned I didn’t know the history of, I wasn’t lost or confused. I was intrigued and already making plans to go back and read the other books. It also means I’ll be going on a reading binge ASAP because I’m hooked on this series now!
A rising star, Bellamy has been put through the wringer in life. Working her butt off to make her dreams come true she continues to keep climbing despite what life has thrown her way. Learning she has a long lost sister brings her right to Butch. Butch at first comes off as arrogant and cold, but the sparks between these two are instant and we quickly see the amazing man this sexy biker really is.
The chemistry between Bellamy and Butch is HOT, but what makes this book even better is the romance between them is more than simply hot. It’s sweet, it’s real, and it will completely melt your heart.
This is the 4th book in the Skulls Renegade MC. I looked so forward to reading this book. I absolutely love MC Romance books because they are always so hot. The thing about this book is it has the sweet love as well. You know what I mean when the guy does the sweetest little thing for his woman and it makes your heart just melt.
This is the story of Bellamy and Butch and its an awesome read. I love the way Butch comes off as an asshole, but then he turns around and turns into a sweetheart. Bellamy has been through some crap but she just keeps on plugging away. She is an up and coming singer and she works her butt off to make it in the business. She thought for so many years that she was an only child. She finds out that she has a half sister. She is determined to find her sister. But guess what her sister is in the Skulls Renegade MC. Lets see what Bellamy can sing her way into with this club?
This book made me laugh and cry. I get into my books that much and Elizabeth knox makes her books that way. I love the characters so far in this book series and I look so forward to reading the next one.
Relentless is book four in the series and since this is my first book by the author I have not read any of the previous ones, I didn't feel like I was missing anyting by not having read them so I'll assume each can be read as a stand alone. I was intrigued by the blurb and voluneered to review this book but honestly it was a miss with me. I couldn't connect with the characters at all, I tried, I kept reading when I considered stopping hoping it would get better for me but sadly it didn't. If anything towards the end it felt rushed. There were small things that were left unresolved an that bugs me. The situation with her ex, unresolved. Butch says they'll take care of it then nothing more. The heroines naivete was not the least bit endearing either, she went from having been with one man to taking things she wasn't properly prepared for quickly with Butch giving them too her with virtually zero concern. She went from one extreme to the next and not really in a sexy way at all. The entire relationship just didn't fit, something was missing to tie them together either emotionally or sexually, it just wasn't there for me.
Well crap, another author to feed my MC addiction; I need rehab! When Relentless became available for review, I snatched it up and realized that I needed to go back to the beginning; not because the book required it, it would do well as a stand alone, but I'm addicted to MC clubs so I wanted it all. I read the first four books in two days, Relentless being the fourth. It's so good and like my favorite dessert, left me craving more.
Bellamy hasn't had it easy, from her parents death at a tender age to a super-douche ex-boyfriend trying to ruin her career, she's had to grow up and be tough. On her 25th birthday, she gets shocking news...she has a sister she's never known. Now she's on a mission to finally have a family and the career she's always wanted. She never expected to run into a man that wants to battle all those demons and help her catch her dreams.
Butch isn't a soft, sweet guy; he's a big, bad biker and he takes whatever he wants. When Bellamy walks into the bar, he sees just what he wants and with her, we see the sweet, sexy as sin guy underneath all the machismo. Gah, I love these two, they're perfect for each other. My favorite bikers are getting some competition! I also really fell for Slash, whom I really didn't like previously, in this book. He's funny and fierce and there's so much under the surface with this guy.
I have loved all four of the Skulls Renegade books and while they do suffer the serious need of a good editor, they are fantastic. I can't wait to learn more about this badass biker family!
Bellamy has had a hard life since losing her parents and at her 25th birthday she finds out some shocking news…she has a half-sister she never knew she had. Since Bellamy has no real family around she is determined to seek out her sister and see if there is a possibility of forming some kind of connection. Bellamy has no idea what she is in for when her sister just happens to be a relevant force within the Skulls MC.
There is trouble brewing at the MC so Butch and Slash are put on Bellamy as body guards as she tours the country on her way to being the next big star. Butch is all alpha and feels a connection with Bellamy but is Butch a person who is looking to get tied up with a one woman?
I received this book as an ARC for a freely given and honest review.
Relentless is the 4th book in the Skulls Renegade MC series by Elizabeth Knox. Even though I haven’t read the first three books, I absolutely LOVED this book. It was sexy, funny and had just the right amount of drama to keep you hooked.
Butch and Bellamy are two people from opposite sides who fit together and need each other more than they thought. Their chemistry was perfection from the start; loved the way she stood up to Butch as she entered Bubba’s for the first time. Then when she came back later that night – HOT!!!
Elizabeth’s writing is addictive. I love every character that is part the MC and can’t wait to go back to read the first three to fill in some gaps and questions. My heart is broken for Slash right now and I need his story to fix it.
I liked the mix of romance, action, drama and suspence in this story. The characters are likeable and well described. The story has a prologue and an epilogue which both are very welcomed. The epilogue finishes the story off in a good way. I like it is written in dual POV, which gives the reader both the thoughts and feelings of the main characters. That makes the story even more emotional and captivating. The twists and turns are so unexpected that they made it worth the read. The chemistry between the alpha male Butch and the feisty woman Bellamy is over the top. Their passion is amazing and so well described. An amazing and enjoyable story that is worth the read!
Holy feels!! This book takes you on a rollercoaster of feelings. And I loved every second of it. It also has some of the most steamy, yummy scenes ever!!! Dmitri is my favorite biker, but he may have some competition now with Butch!! hehe. My heart broke a few times during this book. Bell is one tough chick, I mean, she's related to Elena so you know she's tough. You learn about Slash a little in this book as well and already I love him as well. I can't wait to learn more about Slashie! lol
OMG Relentless was a great addition to Skulls Renegade I was pulled in from start to finish, This all about Butch and Bellamy. Butch is pure tough alpha male and Bellamy is sweet she also a feisty like her sister. theres plenty of drama and action that will keep you turn to find out what going t happen. plus there chemistry was 100% HOT.I don’t want to say anything else as I might give away spoilers, I would Highly recommend this to everybody also check out the rest of the Gang , I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy.👏👏👏Well done Elizabeth Fingers crossed Slasher (Slashie) gets his story.
I think this one so far has to be my favorite of the series.. It was hot and funny at the same time.. If I could I give more then 5 stars because I really enjoyed it even with the ending.. 💜
Emotive, steamy, complex yet fantastically compelling, MUST-READ romance BUY THIS ONE!! star “RELENTLESS” is a marvelous escape into the world of music and Biker bars. If you are unfamiliar with the writing of Elizabeth Knox, then THIS IS THE ONE TO BUY! While it would seem to be incongruous to mention MUSICIAN and BIKER BAR in the same sentence, author Elizabeth Knox is able to pull it off with an aplomb that readers will applaud. Additionally, Knox deals with some serious issues in “RELENTLESS” in a way that the educated her readers, and I love when that happens within a romance. Add to that her wonderful easy-to-read prose and her ability to develop characters so realistic this reader swears she saw a couple of them walking across the parking lot yesterday. The kutt was different, but I could swear I saw . . . Bottom line is this; the characters in “RELENTLESS” sang to me, seemed realistic in that they had some real strengths but were flawed like those of us who are walking our journey off the pages. Elizabeth Knox writes a great story in which characters are rich and well-developed, the plot is complex with unexpected twists and turns, and the happily ever after is way more than a couple of paragraphs and done. While I was given an ARC to prepare this honest, voluntary review, I plan to purchase a copy of “RELENTLESS” the moment it goes live. Not only do I wish to support a very talented author, but I want a copy in my FAVORITES collection on my Kindle to be read again, and again. Yes, “RELENTLESS” is that good. Good enough that I feel compelled to be repetitive. If you have never read anything by Elizabeth Knox, then “RELENTLESS” is the place to start. It is well worth “the price of admission” and you will be so glad you purchased it! Happy pages! 😉
And we are back! Dun dun dun! It is a hectic reading month comrades and I am getting a little fearful with this series. I hate to say that too because from the previous two, this series was really picking up in the right direction I had hoped to see more of, however Relentless was not gooey pleasing to me for several saddening reasons.
Before I really chime in on things I will admit that I really wanted to like Butch and a Bellamy's love story. Oh I mean that cliffhanger at the end of Revenge left me with so much hope. Their characters honestly had decent personalities. Butch was probably the part that I favored the most, though it is probably because I am a sucker for a broody, grump of a caveman. But because Bellamy came across as a forced personality really irked me. She was portrayed as what meant to be a naive, sweet innocent character I for one did not like her at all. I think I would have been more on board with her character in a more believable sense if she didn't go from this innocent, very inexperienced sexual woman to practically a sexual fiend gearing up for a porn shoot.
I just couldn't.... I like a good sexual awakening in romances as much as the next person but they need to have some credibility, some substance, some type of depth to create any type of believability for the transition.
And because we are talking about Bellamy becoming one with her sexual nature, this is all due to her budding relationship with Butch, because without his expertise, she would be nothing.
The romance between Butch and Bellamy wasn't my favorite. I unfortunately had a similar affect as I did previously with Reign. There was this insta-lust factor that ultimately turned into this all consuming insta-love between the two characters. On top of this it slightly irked me that on many scenes with Bellamy was solo, she almost never even considered Butch as a person yet when they were together he was her everything. At many points the chemistry seemed one sided.
Also there were points where I felt the development of their dynamic shifted without any level of substance. It was as if the author was telling me to trust her, that Butch and Bellamy were in fact in love with no further build needed - it just seemed like their were plot holes to just their overall romance and not enough for me to invest, to connect with their characters.
Definitely thinking that my biggest pet peeve with this series has been that the writing style has been slightly off set. The character development seems lacking in many attributes and more than one occasion there is too many unresolved conflicts while more twists continue to pile on. I assume that majority of this is due to the suspenseful setting the author is trying to create but for me, it is making thinking too choppy and I cannot connect long enough to fully appreciate the plot or the romances. Just feels cluttered.
Reckoning is next in line and I am really hoping for more of the better side of this series...
Bellamy Mason never knew her real dad but knew that the man named Jimmy was a dangerous man. When she learns that she has a half-sister named Elena Michaels she tracks her down. Elena is taken by surprise but vows to keep Bellamy safe in case they are in fact related. Abe “Butch” Warren is attracted to Bellamy from the first moment he meets her, and he wants to keep her safe. Butch is part of the Skulls Renegade MC and has never had a serious relationship since being left at the altar years ago. He and fellow member Slash are assigned to watch Bellamy as she goes on tour. The sexual tension between Bellamy and Butch is intense but Bellamy just left a relationship that has left her reeling from how she was played in the press. Is she willing to trust Butch with her heart? As the Skulls Renegade have their own issues with other MC clubs will they get caught in the crossfire? This is another great book in the series and it keep more intriguing as each book passes. I liked Bellamy and she had definitely been through a lot in the past. I really hope at a further point that the author looks into the death of her parents and perhaps links it into something to deal with the MC. Bellamy was super talented but got herself into a bad situation with her ex-boyfriend, Zac Depp. Zac was not a nice guy and I wondered if he had something more to do with Miles, a member of her band who did not like her. Bellamy was tough but she was also frustrated that Zac could get away with so much. Butch was awesome and the scenes with him and Bellamy were intense and hot!! He knew he wanted her and had a jealous streak when it came to her. I loved that he defended her from those who were rude to her or that set out to destroy her. I loved the scene between him and Bellamy at his mother’s house! Towards the end Bellamy broke my heart and I knew something bad was going to happen because of her actions. I definitely was not expecting what occurred. My heart broke for Slash and I hope we get more on him in the next book. I’m also curious to learn more about “Boss” and hope that is revisited soon. Looking forward to more as there is so much more I need to know!
This is the forth (and just released today) book in the series. I had agreed to review the newest release, Book 4 – and was provided the first three (squee!!) **Spoilers ahead** I, even after finishing the book, don’t know how I feel about having a random character (Bellamy) pulled into a relationship with another MC member that we hadn’t heard too much about (Butch). Then, top it with Bellamy being a singer in a band AND being Elena’s half-sister. I’m just not sure. I struggled to read this. I believe 30% to 40% felt like a long period of time and I’m generally a fast reader. There was just something I can’t put my finger on. I wanted to love this book because I am a series girl and I’ll read a series even if I dislike one book because things progress and change. Reed’s father (or Bones – book three’s other victim) isn’t even mentioned until about 42% - claims of still not being able to find him. I feel he should have been mentioned sooner even though he was clearly an awful person and Reed and Kyle likely don’t have a clue about the extent of his actions. Not as much sex in this one. But that didn’t make or break the book (unless you’re a reader looking for constant sex 😉 ) Most of the people we’ve met in the first three books are “missing” so to speak – this book focuses a lot on Bellamy and her band and her issues. The previous main characters become secondary, in a way, in this book. **Pssst, side note – this has taken over as my new favorite cover from this series. The next book? I’d love to learn about Slasher and find him paired up with a sweet girl that doesn’t act like she has balls. They say opposites attract after all. I see – turning her in private, some rough sex (come on – Slasher has to have some BDSM habits). One other thing that I feel I need to mention, again – for those that didn’t read my review of the first three books – Don’t think Sons of Anarchy here – think about an MC doing good rather than being a 1% club.
Relentless is a fantastic addition of the series, Skulls Renegade written by Elizabeth Knox. It is filled with tonnes of angst, sexy time and action. I was pulled in from start to finish. Being a lover of MC Romance’s is a guilty pleasure of mine, I have my go to favourite authors to get my fix, I can quite happily say that I have a new go to author for this fix.
While Relentless is the fourth book in the series, I feel it can be read as a standalone novel. Just be prepared to not know as much of the background information if you haven’t read the previous stories. To prepare for this book, as this was the first one I had read from the series, I decided to go and read the previous books, just so I could get the full experience.
Bellamy hasn’t had it easy. Her life is thrown into turmoil when she learns that she has a sister. Something that she didn’t expect to on her 25th birthday. With no family left, after the death of her parents, Bellamy seeks out her sister. Finding herself entering a Texas MC Club, was the last place Bellamy expected to find her sister or the man that would change her life and fight off the demons that have shadowed her in recent times.
Butch, is a man who takes whatever he wants, and he wants Bellamy. Not knowing who she is the first time she enters the bar, doesn’t stop Butch.
I adored the easy nature of Bellamy, she certainly hasn’t had the easiest of lives, but it made her a strong person and a character that I felt very connected with.
Butch, is your typical alpha biker, but he has a heart. One that makes you fall in love with, hard. Both characters balance each other out, they have fantastic chemistry and they know how to burn up the bedroom.
Not wanting to say much more about the storyline, I would recommend this book to anyone wanting a taste of an MC romance. It has the perfect balance of romance and action. **** 4 Stars
Well crap, another author to feed my MC addiction, I need rehab! When Relentless became available for review, I snatched it up and I realized that I needed to go back to the beginning; not because there book required it, it would do well as a stand alone, but I'm addicted to MC clubs so I wanted it all. I read the first four books in two days, Relentless being the fourth. It's so good and like my favorite dessert, left me craving more.
Bellamy hasn't had it easy, from her parents death at a tender age to a super-douch ex-boyfriend trying to ruin her career, she's had to grow up and be tough. On her 25th birthday, she gets shocking news...she has a sister she's never known. Now she's on a mission to finally have a family and the career she's always wanted. She never expected to run into a man that wants to battle all those demons and help her catch her dreams.
Butch isn't a soft, sweet guy; he's a big, bad biker and he takes whatever he wants. When Bellamy walks into the bar, he sees just what he wants and with her, we see the sweet, sexy as sin guy underneath all the machismo. Gah, I love these two, they're perfect for each other. My favorite bikers are getting some competition! I also really fell for Slash, whom I really didn't like previously, in this book. He's funny and fierce and there's so much under the surface with this guy.
I have loved all four of the Skulls Renegade books and while they do suffer the serious need of a good editor, they are fantastic. I can't wait to learn more about this badass biker family!
All the Broken People....Where Do They All Come From?
Bellamy finds out in a letter from her late mother left in her will, that she has a half sister, Elena, and that her real father is a biker! Her real father is Jimmy, the president of the Vipers MC gang in Texas. Her mother tells her to stay away from him, because he's a manipulative, evil and violent guy. She gets an inheritance from her late father, the father that she loved all her life, the only father she ever knew.
Then she's back on the road with her band, and she'll meet her sister Elena in Gainesville, TX. Zac, An ex, has been vengeful, because the wants to ruin her career. He has been sending her mean, spiteful text messages and now he is going to post a sex video on Utube. Bellamy has her band mates all wanting to go beat him up! The bar in Gainesville where she is supposed to meet Elena is Bubba's, and it's a big biker bar. This book seemed so juvenile to me. It would be more suitable for young adults, which I am certainly not! The book jumps around a lot to characters with totally different stories that are never introduced. Some of the jumps make absolutely no sense. Why is some woman having a baby in the middle of Bell and Elena's story? Apparently, this book won't make any sense unless you read them in order, and maybe not even then! I am disappointed. ARC Received for a Voluntary and Honest Review. I also got The book📑 with KU.
I did not read any of the previous books, so I have to base my review on this book only.
Relentless by Elizabeth Knox. Relentless is the 4th book in the Skulls Renegade Series. The author set me up in the synopsis, teasing me with hints of a secret just waiting for me to uncover. This series took me on one hell of an amazing, emotional, and beyond crazy journey. Any feeling a person has will be expended in this story line; the events will irritate, anger, sadden, and ultimately destroy because it is just that epic. Relentless is the story of Butch and Bellamy. Bellamy had great parents but they are now past away. While working toward getting her inheritance she started her music career. When the last of her inheritance was given to her on her 25 birthday their were written letters to her from her parents. In the letter from her mother she was told that the father she knew was not her real father. That he was a awful man who was the Prez of a MC Gang, and that she had a half sister. When she went to find her half sister who was married to the Prez of the Skulls Renegade it put her life in danger. Not from the club or her sister but from a revival gang that might want to hurt her because of her new connections to the Skulls. So Butch was put in place to protect her along with another member. But Butch and Bellamy had sparks fly from the first moment they met but Bellamy had been hurt before by her one and only real boyfriend. I absolutely love every minute of this book I was attached from beginning to end.
This is another great book in the series and it keep more intriguing as each book passes.
I liked Bellamy and she had definitely been through a lot in the past. I really hope at a further point that the author looks into the death of her parents and perhaps links it into something to deal with the MC. Bellamy was super talented but got herself into a bad situation with her ex-boyfriend, Zac Depp. Zac was not a nice guy and I wondered if he had something more to do with Miles, a member of her band who did not like her. Bellamy was tough but she was also frustrated that Zac could get away with so much.
Butch was awesome and the scenes with him and Bellamy were intense and hot!! He knew he wanted her and had a jealous streak when it came to her. I loved that he defended her from those who were rude to her or that set out to destroy her. I loved the scene between him and Bellamy at his mother’s house!
Towards the end Bellamy broke my heart and I knew something bad was going to happen because of her actions. I definitely was not expecting what occurred. My heart broke for Slash and I hope we get more on him in the next book. I’m also curious to learn more about “Boss” and hope that is revisited soon.
Looking forward to more as there is so much more I need to know!
I love Elizabeth Knox’s books and that definitely includes the Skulls Renegade series. Relentless is the 4th book in the series and centers around Butch and Bellamy. Bellamy is an up and coming singer who also happens to be the long lost half sister of Elena, wife of the Skulls Renegade’s President. Because of all the mess that the club is in, Elena decides that her sister needs a bodyguard or two and sends Butch and Slash to keep tabs on her. This would probably be easier is she wasn’t on tour with another band. I really liked both characters in this story, Butch can be really sweet and definitely is with Bell. Bell has a lot of baggage and she struggles to keep it from dragging her down. Like previous books in the series, Relentless is sexy and exciting. We also got a glimpse of characters that we loved in previous books and if I’m reading correctly, and I hope that I am, it sounds like we might get reacquainted with the Reapers MC guys too. We also got to know Slash a little better and I really liked him. I’m hoping he gets his own book and someone special to help him heal. Really great book, made me want to go back and re-read the series from the first book!
OMG I absolutely loved Relentless by Elizabeth Knox. This is the story of Bellamy and Butch. Bellamy was orphaned when she was young and she went to live with her dad's best friend. She finds out at the final reading of her parent's wills that her father is not really her father but her step-father and that her biological father is a mean man in a biker gang. She also finds out that she has a half-sister. Butch is a member of the MC that her sister married into. When Bellamy goes looking for her sister she runs into Butch and there is an immediate and intense attraction between them. Once her sister is certain that Bellamy is her sister she sends Butch and another man to be Bellamy's bodyguards while she is on the road finishing up her tour. The attraction is still there between Butch and Bellamy which keeps getting stronger the longer they are together. Will they overcome all the obstacles in their way or will they take them down? You will need to read the book to get these and other answers. Relentless is an amazing stgory and a must read. I definitely recommend this book and I can't wait to read more from Elizabeth Knox.
Wow, this series has really found it’s stride now. Bellamy Mason, an up and coming singer who we found out in the last book is the MC’s First Lady Elena’s sister, decides to go find her long lost sister when her latest tour date brings her to Nashville, TN and very close to where the Skulls Renegades are based. Whilst there she meets one of the brothers, Butch, and the pair hit it off. When Elena asks for two volunteers to go protect Bellamy while she finishes her tour, fearing Bellamy might be in danger now it has come out that she is related to the club, Butch and Slasher take off after her and join the tour.
Now, I don’t want to say anything else as I might give away spoilers. I will say though that there is plenty of drama in this one, some action, some H.O.T. sexy times and after what happened to him in this book I really hope Slasher is going to get his own book very, very soon. I give Relentless 4.5 stars.
Bellamy experienced tragedy at a young age. The loss of her parents left her to navigate the world on her own with only her father's best friend and Zac a boy she let own her heart. On her twenty fifth birthday it is revealed that her father isn't the man who raised her, it is actually a man her mother feared and ran from. She is also told that she has a half sister. Betrayed and humiliated by the only man she has loved ever loved she is forced to rise above the slander of social media. During the search for her sister she meets Butch, a man she is automatically drawn to.
Butch is bad boy biker who has had his share heartbreak. He is completely caught off guard when Bellamy charges into his life. He can't deny his immediate attraction to her or his need to make her his. The road to HEA is filled with betrayal, blackmail, and constant threat. Elizabeth Knox does not disappoint. This is a 5 star story that you can't help but become emotionally involved in.
