Entertaining... Needs editing.

I was entertained with this story and that is the main reason I read it in the first place. That is the only reason I gave five stars. I'm not sure how the author justifies damaging their reputation by selling this work with so little effort put forth to polish it. I read this story in 5 hours or so. I found numerous, easily corrected errors that would have made it flow so much better. To the author: You don't have to use a professional editor to make a difference. Have your friends or family read it. It will make all the difference.

Outspan Foster is going for a quantity over quantity model this year and is publishing, complete books that are in desperate need of some editing.

The book is littered with misspelled words, grammar errors, and unintentional gender swapping. It is a testament to the plot and main characters that I struggled through it all to reach the end.

An excellent journey

Another excellent story about a man who was betrayed and forced to become a Slime, and how he is slowly coming to terms with it all and his new existence. A lot happened in this book, both from his perspective and others in the book. There is a mix of adventure, learning, joy and sadness. I’m ready for the next book now. :)

Also, I appreciate the author’s conscious decision to produce more books in a year, than worry about perfect editing. The mistakes are a little annoying, but not terribly so. I do wish I had a way to indicate a correction and feed it back to the author, editor and/or publisher.

A strong sequel

I am both amazed and not surprised that this book took 27 days to write. I am amazed because this is such a well developed story with engaging twists. I am not surprised because there were a lot of typos. The author’s note says the next book will be edited, so all is right in this world.

Read in one sitting

Fantastic sequel, even better than the first book. Author mentions that he didn’t take time for editing, totally worth it if we can get another book soon

Another good one

Great book by Outspan Foster. It advanced the story, gew characters, revealed secrets, and scratched itches. Looking forward to the next one.
