237 books173 followersI was born in Manly on the Northern Beaches in Sydney, Australia and grew up in the west after we moved there to help my brother’s eczema which was made worse by salt air. I now reside in the beautiful sunny state of Queensland.
My dad had the biggest impact on my life. I have always had an overactive imagination and would often tell him stories which floated in my mind. He encouraged me to put pen to paper convinced that one day they would become published books.
Apart from marrying the love of my life, the highlight of my life was being accepted into Nursing just before my 16th birthday. It had been a long-time dream and one which encompassed 37 years of my life. Along with nursing, being married to a Naval Officer for almost 47 years, and posted in numerous places, gave me experiences which I have written into many of my books.
We enjoy traveling the country with our Caravan/RV, and Jack Russell puppy by the name of Gemma who will be joining us.
As my parents were British, never Australian citizens, I hold dual citizenship and we plan to take advantage of this to spend two years traveling the UK and Europe in the near future. It will also give me the opportunity to catch up with many family members who reside in England.
My books are in various genres - Western Historical Romance-both steamy and sweet, Contemporary Romance-steamy and sweet, Male/Male, Australian Outback and City Romance. I also have one menage and one paranormal romance along with two children's books. As I said earlier, I have a rather overactive imagination.
I hope you will pick up one of my books and when you close the cover on one of my stories it will be with a satisfied sigh.

Clay and Justine
This is sweet and tender love story written by Susan Horsnell. She has filled the pages with excitement and adventure along with a tab bit of sexiness. Clay is the youngest of the Carter brothers and he is a ladies man that seared to never settle for one woman. Justine is a young woman that lost her parents in a hotel fire and she was also burned badly in that same fire. The fire wound healed but left her with scaring on her cheek and neck. Justine believes these scars have left her undesirable and would never to be chosen as a bride and wife. Her grandfather’s death leaves her the heir to his cattle ranch that is directly beside the Carter’s family ranch. Fate and desire bring her and Clay together, although some might say kicking and screaming as they try to deny the attraction. You will enjoy discovering how they find their happily ever after.

This is book 3 in a really good series. This is Clay's book. Clay is a bit of a playboy but he feels something is missing. When he meets a woman he is left speechless as she doesn't fall for his charms.

I find Clay's story to be endearing! I love how the Carter family bound together to show Justine where true beauty lies! This is a heartwarming story!

This is the 3rd book in this trilogy and the youngest brother Clay's story.
He's never going to settle down until his new neighbour catches his eye and his heart. She's gone through a tragedy and not falling for his charm. He's never been put in his place before and I think was enjoying the challenge.
This is a well written, sweet romance but not without some drama and action.
I've really enjoyed this series and look forward to catching up with some more cowboys from this author.

This is book three of The Carter's Brother trilogy and a wonderful story. The Carter's are a strong, giving and loveable family. Clay has decided to never be tied down with marriage untill he see Justine. This trilogy is very entertaining, adventurous, creative and heartwarming. I highly recommend you read this story of Clay but also his brother's story Matt and Will. Happy Reading🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
