If I were a teenage girl this would be my ultimate fantasy grad night.... apparently this is the third book in the series, although it can be read as a standalone.... The books all take place during the same timeframe, but from the perspective of three different couples... this is Jade and Lenin’s story...

Jade is the nerd and Lenin is the rockstar.... so how could he ever fall for a girl like her? I did like both of these characters... and of course they had more in common than it appeared on the surface... they also had both been harboring a crush for one another for the past four years....

Now there were quite a few things about this book that were unrealistic... like you probably should not have a career changing performance at a grad night house party... also nobody is getting into UCLA at the last minute, and they are not on the semester system (I know this is a picky detail).... all this is to say is that this was a fun Quick read but not terribly realistic.... it was also filled with clichés and stereotypes, yet still enjoyable...

This is a young adult book I believe that is truly meant for a young adult audience... if you are a parent I think the only thing that would stop you from letting a younger reader read this is there is teenage drinking, other than that it was pretty clean...

ARC provided by NetGalley in exchange for an honest review

I don't know why I keep reading contemporary series out of order. Maybe I would've enjoyed this more having read the first two books beforehand. But whatever, I'll just deal.

So, this book is about a boy and a girl (as if you couldn't tell but the totally cheesy but also kind of cute cover). She's a mathlete and he's a rock star (seems like we haven't outlived teenage stereotypes yet. Maybe next year). They have been infatuated with each other all through high school, but it's not until graduation night that they admit and explore these feelings.

I thought this was very cute in an obvious kind of way. The characters were okay, the plot was decent and the ending was sweet. I liked the writing style, so maybe I'll read the other two companion novels.

Lennon is a musician. He's confident and popular. He plans to get on the road after high school and follow his dreams. He doesn't commit to anything that will keep him in town including girls at school. Lennon's dad is a teacher at his school and Jade is his math genius. He doesn't want her heart broken by his son, making Jade off limits. The problem is Jade is the only girl who Lennon had ever been interested in for more than 2 minutes.

Jade learns Lennon is a player from day one. She sees him go through girls like hot dinners. He dates the good-looking popular types. Jade isn't that girl but that doesn't stop Jade admiring from afar.

Graduation is here and Lennon realises he isn't going to see Jade anymore. He starts to realise this is his last chance.

Geek girl and popular boy romance. This is a last chance romance. 4 Stars out of 5. Sweet, cute romance.

Lennon Pryor is planning on being a rock star and his hard work and talent look like enabling him to do just that! His Dad works at the High school Lennon attends and part of his role involves coaching the mathletes. When freshman Jade Aaron first joins the mathletes she also hears Lennon rehearsing and they meet for the first time. Jade isn't only talented at Mathematics, she is also a skilled artist and her dream is to create her own Graphic novels - something her mother refuses to acknowledge or support. The attraction is there immediately but Lennon’s dad asks him not to break Jade’s heart since he plans on leaving anyway and isn’t ready for a real relationship. He heeds his Dad’s advice but, four years later, when Graduation Day arrives and all the rules change for both of them!

This is a story of teen dreams, parental aspirations, coming of age and romance. It has two families as the focus with very different dynamics within those families. Most of the story concerns Graduation day - and the party after it. It is about the teen rock star aiming high in his potential career whilst being conflicted when considering how he can still strive for that and keep the girl he loves in his life. It is the third book in the series but works well as a standalone - I can vouch for that as I haven't yet read the previous two books. I found it a fun read, brilliant for enjoying whilst relaxing in the sun

I requested and was given a copy of this novel, via NetGalley, with no obligation. This is my honest review of the book after choosing to read it.

”We were destined to fail as our nicknames hinted we would—the rock star and the mathlete.”

GAH! What can I even say at this point?! It’s the end of the Grad Night Series and I don’t even know what to do with myself anymore! Lennon and Jade’s story was truly the perfect ending. But it was more than that because it was simply the ending I didn’t want to happen!

I fell extremely in love with this series and couple as a whole! SO much nostalgia of that feeling you get when you fall in love for the first time. It’s the looks and the blushing, the butterflies and the nervous giggles, as much as it is a bit terrifying when you’re forced to think about your future right after high school and how that love could possibly thrive after graduation.

Seriously, this series, this book, is one everyone needs to read. There’s nothing wrong with a little YA loving in your life every now and then and Molly Lee did nothing but execute it perfectly. I can only hope for more on how the rock star and the mathlete continue to be exactly what they were missing from each other lives! This goes for all the characters in this series! You’ll fall so in love with their individual stories you can’t help but want more.

Anyone else smell a NA novella coming???

The first time Lennon Pryor saw Jade Aaron he was entranced, she became his unknowing muse. Lennon knew he wanted to be a rock star and he also knew he couldn't do commitment and Jade deserved commitment. For four years he held his crush and Jade flourished as a mathelete and 4.0 student, but when graduation night comes around Lennon finds himself in Jade's company and realizes she is everything.

I thought this was a unique concept and liked the chemistry between Lennon and Jade. I thought Lennon's dad was honest and realistic where Lennon was concerned. Jade had a lot of depth once you got a flash of her life and the weight of succeeding she had been carrying around. Entertaining story.

Lennon and Jade are complete opposites. Lennon is a budding rock star and Jade is a mathlete. They have been tip toeing around each other for the the last four years. On graduation night they are forced to spend time together in a funny set of circumstances. As the night goes on they see different sides of each other and realize their potential feelings. Even though they like each other they don’t think it will work out. To be honest I liked the story but i felt like it dragged on and on with why they shouldn’t make the next step. Things finally picked up towards the end and it ended on a really cute note. I’ve read all the books in this series and they reminded me of my high school days all over again.

It’s no secret that I love both YA and rock star romances. The fire and angst in both are usually off-the-charts AMAZING. Molly E. Lee’s latest YA meets rocker romance, LOVE BEYOND OPPOSITES, SHINES like a bright star with sweetness, swoon, passion, and promise, and I was SWEPT AWAY. I CRUSHED on this story so hard!

Rock star, Lennon, is PERFECTION! Handsome and heartfelt, I got a backstage pass to everything Lennon in Love Beyond Opposites. Lennon, the sweet and sexy rocker hero with the huge heart, rendered me STAR STRUCK. I LOVED HIM!

No other girl had come close to making me lose my breath, but a few fleeting touches from Jade and I was desperate for air.

Beautiful math wiz and artist, Jade, complemented Lennon perfectly as they brought out the best in each other. Their chemistry and compassion made me melt! Molly Lee executed the opposites attract theme FLAWLESSLY.

The heat between our bodies seemed to have its own pulse, like our heartbeats were syncing.

Love Beyond Opposites is an ENDEARING and ASPIRING young adult novel with an engaging voice, charming and convincing characters, addictive plot and some sensational writing. Fire ignites from the pages and I could feel every spark of heat, heart, and hope in a story that teaches the value of time and to make every moment count. Love Beyond Opposites is STUNNING, and you can’t help but feel its SPARK, SPIRIT, and SOUL.

”I do know what it feels like to lose you ... and I’ve never regretted anything more.”

This YA ADDICTION whets the appetite where you’re left hungry for MORE. I NEED MORE of this romance, as a taste wasn’t enough. Sweet, steamy, and full of swoon, Love Beyond Opposites hits the heart in perfect harmony and sings to the soul like a love song—UTTERLY UNFORGETTABLE.

”And sometimes looking back on the moments you wished were different can make you realize just how important the now is. Don’t waste a second.”

Grad Night! The end of an era, and both Lennon and Jade felt like they had some unfinished business to deal with before they moved on to their post high school life.

Lennon had known all along, that he would leave his hometown behind for the rockstar life, while Jade knew she would pursue a college degree. They met as freshmen, and there were sparks, but Lennon kept his distance, never pursuing more than friendship with Jade, because his future was so different from her's. However, as the future crept in, he realized he couldn't let this final opportunity slip away.

This book was everything I expect from an Entangled romance. I loved both Lennon and Jade. Each had something they were super passionate about, and both were fiercely supportive of the other's dreams, but I was still frustrated that they wasted four years resisting their attraction and affection for each other. These two were great together, and I had so much fun with them on their grad night. Each little detour in their adventure was quite revealing, and showed that they were more alike then they previously thought they were.

There were many heart to hearts and even some grand gestures, which are things I love to see in a romance, but you know my favorite part was the epilogue. Since this was the final book in the series, Lee sort of checked in with all three couples, and I LOVED getting to see where they were after that fateful night.

Overall: A sweet and fun look at following your passion and not letting opportunities pass you by.

Earlier this year I read Love Between Enemies, the second book in the Grad Night series, and I became hooked. I loved the characters, the excitement of grad night, and, most importantly, the romance!

In Love Between Enemies, Jade and Lennon were spotted occasionally in the background, and it was easy to tell that there was something brewing between them. Good or bad, I didn't know, but one thing was for sure, I couldn't wait to find out!

Love Beyond Opposites alternates between Jade and Lennon's perspectives, and just like Love Between Enemies, I loved seeing from both viewpoints. On the surface, Jade and Lennon couldn't be any more different. Jade's always been a quiet, sweet girl, focusing on her grades and actives rather than having the typical high school experience. Lennon, on the other hand, is a rising rock star. He's set to go on tour this summer, and he can't wait - the road is where he's meant to be. I adored Jade and Lennon for a variety of reasons. For instance, I completely related to Jade's love of math, and I also admired how determined she was to break lose, of her family, of the world's expectations for her future, etc. She was her own person for sure. Lennon wasn't the typical rock star. He was swoony of course, but he also had this level of sweetness to him, especially when it came to Jade. Like Jade, Lennon is rebelling against what his parents think are best for him - college rather than touring - and I gave him mad props. Lennon knew what he wanted to do, and he wasn't letting anything get in the way of his dream.

The one thing I love about this series is how developed the romances become considering such a short timeline - 24 hours essentially. In Love Beyond Opposites, we have a case of long-term crushing. Both Lennon and Jade have been crushing on one another from afar, but they don't believe they're right for each other until they're thrown together for a night of adventure. I enjoyed seeing Jade and Lennon become more comfortable with each other. They had such a great banter develop, and I also admired how willing they were to stand up for the other. While there was some drama near the end, it added some suspense to the book.

Overall, Love Beyond Opposites is just as sweet as the previous book. I'm sad to see this series come to an end; however, I couldn't be happier with how Molly ended it - that epilogue was perfect!

Love Beyond Opposites is a fitting series finale!

Told from the alternating perspectives of Lennon (future rock star and host of the epic lake grad night party at which a good chunk of the series drama happens) and Jade (aspiring graphic novelist and mathlete), Opposites gives us yet another look at what was going on behind the scenes at the party of the year. Once again the story takes place concurrently with the other two books and could be read as a standalone, though the epilogue features all of the series main characters--seven months later--and therefore will have a bit more meaning for those who've read all three.

Still, if you're starting with this one? Not exactly a hardship. ;)

Once again Ms. Lee has given us two MCs here who are easy to root for, the rock star and the mathlete who have harbored secret crushes on each other all through high school and who actually have way more in common than they appear to at first glance. Their grad night experience is truly epic, including some light B&E and near death by turkey and possibly even a minor run-in with the law. As fun as it was to read, I'm super glad most of my nights don't involve a tenth of the drama as this one did!

As much as I enjoyed the grand gesture here, I do have to admit that solving their problems seemed a bit too easy--seven months in and everything is all hunky-dory for them (not that they don't deserve it, but still...) I also have to wonder at the chances that all of their respective colleges will have spring break at exactly the same time...? Still, this series was a lot of fun, and I can't wait to see what Ms. Lee has in store for us next.

This is a sweet love story between two young people who just graduated high school and who’ve known each other since freshman year. I love reading about young love when there are so many possibilities and they don’t have any idea of emotional pain they could experience being in love, or people trying to break them up. It sucks, but it could happen, just like happily ever alters can happen as well, and that’s what I’m going to focus on. This is the third book in the series, but reading the other books isn’t necessary in order to understand the plot of this book.

This is a light, fast, entertaining read. The writing is superb, and the dialog is sharp and funny. I love smart, snarky female characters, and Jade is that. I also love that Lennon is hard on the outside, but inside he’s melted chocolate, and he’s not afraid to let that part of him show, to the right person.

What I love about this book is that these two young people think they are all wrong for each other because he’s outgoing and gregarious, and she’s shy, he loves the limelight and she’s more comfortable in the background, he’s a player, and she’s not. She wants to go to college, and he wants to tour with his band, if he gets the opportunity, which he might due to a scout watching him play at his graduation party.

They are both likable characters because they are both smart, funny, sensitive, and they both have it bad for each other, they just don’t know it yet.

I also loved that the two of them find out about each other’s feelings the night of his graduation party and they get to know each other on a deeper level, and still like each other and want to be together.

They are both willing to make their relationship work without having to sacrifice each others dreams, which makes me very happy.

Give this book a try, young love with a happy ending is always a safe bet.

The Rockstar and the Mathlete

-‘the second I stepped over and really fell for Jade, there would be no going back. You didn’t get over girls like Jade. Because there are no girls like Jade.’-

-‘Lennon…I’d never thought of him as anything more than a friend. A rock-star player with the world on a string.’-

-‘I felt this was the best night of my life and at the same time I cursed that I’d wasted four years not seeing him as anything more than a player…a friend. Because he was more than that. He knew me in a way no one ever had.’-

Alternating POV between the two main characters, makes it interesting to see the different perspectives between the two, and to read their innermost thoughts. Also, this is a different view of the same story from her other book which includes some of the main characters from “Love In the Friend Zone”, as well as a nod to some of her other books, in the same manner. Clever. I like that one can make the connections to those other books, having read them, but in the same vein, it isn’t necessary to read them to understand this story. It remains a stand-alone. I really liked “Love in the Friend Zone” by this author and I read it several times. I enjoyed “Love Beyond Opposites” just as much and will likely be reading it again. Highly recommended.

Note: while this is a clean romance (no sex) there is swearing in it so sensitive readers be aware.

Love Beyond Opposites is the third book in Molly E. Lee's Grad Night series, but I read it as a standalone and I had no issues following the storyline. I really enjoyed Jade's character and I thought she was fun, relatable and I especially loved that she was not only incredible with numbers, but that she was also talented in a more artistic way. Although, I am usually a huge sucker for the whole opposites attract love stories, but I wasn't as sold on Love Beyond Opposites as I thought I would be. It's not that I disliked Lee's book by any means, however I just felt it was a little drawn out at some parts and most of those parts tended to be during Lennon's POV. Honestly, I usually really enjoy it when authors write with a dual POV because I think it tends to give more of a big picture view, but in this situation I almost wish it was more of just Jade. Maybe if I had read the previous two books in the series I would have developed more of an appreciation for Lennon?

Jade Aarons, the mathlete, and Lennon Pryer, the rockstar, have been dancing around each other since their freshman year, but that all changes on graduation night when a series of events leads to Jade and Lennon spending the evening together. As the night progresses one bold action leads to a reckless kiss, but, a rock star falling for a mathlete just doesn't add up.

I liked reading Jade and Lennon's love story, however it just didn't quite end up being my perfect equation. That being said, I still liked Lee's writing style and I would be interested in reading what she does in the future!

Cute, fun read!! I like the whole yin and yang that they had going on. They were opposites, but complimented each other very well! This was a great story and very clean. I like how the characters put themselves out there, how there had been feelings for years and the relationship started as a friendship.

Lennon Pryor and Jade Aaron attend the same high school. Jade is a math nerd and Lennon is an aspiring rock star. They shouldn't even breathe the same air.

For four years their unlikely friendship is nurtured but a well meaning conversation between Lennon and his father, prevents anything further developing. That is until grad night, four years later!

This is one of the sweetest coming of age love stories I've ever read. There is nothing, except perhaps the clichéd nerd and rockstar lovebirds, to detract from this, the newest addition to Molly E Lee's 'Grad Night' series.

I would not hesitate to recommend this to anyone ready to explore the romance genre. Jade and Lennon's HEA is in no way hindered by the absence of more intimate scenes which, in my opinion, makes it perfect for the YA market.

A sweet and well deserved 5*

Young adult novel about a hopefully upcoming rock star and a super geeky mathlete. Jade & Lennon got to know each other from school and Jade's math club taught by Lennon's dad, the professor. Lennon has a one track mind for his future. He wants to play music and college can wait. Jade is a genius in math, and pressures by her parents to go that route are high, when all she wants to do is draw graphic novels. Lennon's dad asked him to leave Jade alone because Jade isn't the love em & leave em girl and Lennon isn't sticking around after graduation. The two are friends but they want to be more. Graduation night they end up on several crazy adventures together all leading up to Lennon's showcase with the record executive at his huge party. All kinds of sidetracks ensue and while it's a fun night, I found the story to get a little monotonous. By 60% in still nothing has really evolved between the characters or in getting Lennon to the party. I ended up getting "skimmy" on reading every word. Flash forward, a good story with a good ending and fun side characters. Just wanted the middle to move a bit faster, even for a novella.

ARC - 3.5 stars

The good old “nerd falls for the famous/popular kid” trope - what’s not to love? This had an easy start, a SWEET AND FLUFFY AS CANDY FLOSS middle, and had a cute finish to tie up any of the loose ends.

I expected the book to take place over a longer period of time, so I was pleasantly surprised when the majority of the story took place on the one day/night.

I liked how the POV changed between Lennon or Jade each chapter, it helped the story flow a bit better than if it was only the one characters perspective.
It may not be the type of book I’d typically pick up, but it was an easy read and I definitely enjoyed it.

NOTE - I have never read anything else by this author in the past so went in with an open mind.

Molly I've been a huge fan of yours for a while, but Love Beyond Opposites just made me love and worship you even more.

Thank you for writing such an amazing book. I love the characters, but I just fell in love with Jade. She isnt most popular one in the bunch. She stands her ground and loves herself for who she is. What a great inspiration to the readers.👏👏
Lennon... Typical rock star who doesnt know when.... eehh I won't spoil it for you..

Love Beyond Opposites is a wonderful YA read. It's a fairly typical geeky girl and popular guy story but the author does a great job of making the story feel fresh and new. Throughout the story Lennon and Jade try to fight their attraction to each other. After all Lennon is planning to leave as soon as he graduates so getting involved just doesn't make sense. As graduation draws closer Lennon realizes he won't be seeing Jade any longer and that startling fact has him rethinking all his plans.

This is a very well written book and these characters will win your heart. I definitely recommend this one.

Guy meets girl. Girl and guy like each other, but try not to admit it to one another. Reality continues to make things interesting until it all comes out. Sounds familiar right? Well, in this book that story is told with plenty of simmering feelings and adorable moments.

These two are amazing together and the friendship feels real. The nicknames, the conversations make you smile. Even the way they deal with adversity on the turn of a dime will make you laugh. My personal favorite moment is when a crazed fan gets in their face, which leads to Jade pretending to be Lennon's boyfriend. Drinks are thrown, kisses exchanged, and the drama is epic.

4.5 stars — OMG, this one is totally my favourite in the series!! I totally ship Lennon and Jade, they were so adorable together! I was hooked right from the prologue, and this one was just adorable and fun from start to finish. I felt all of the tummy butterflies, and it was just a nice way to wrap up what was a fun series.

As with the previous two books, this one takes place in about a 24 hour period, and I still really enjoy that concept. I loved that we got to see those crossover scenes from the previous two books, but from Lennon and Jade’s perspectives. You don’t have to read those books to enjoy this one, but I think it makes for a more fun experience in the end. The area where this one excelled a bit more than the previous two is that I didn’t feel like the middle was as drawn out or repetitive. I loved the experiences that Lennon and Jade had over the course of the night, and I thought their relationship progressed and didn’t have as much back and forth.

Jade was super adorable, and nerdy, and awkward, and passionate and I just adored her and her snort laugh. Probably b/c I also snort laugh. Probably b/c I was pretty good at math as well (though, not like she is). I thought her personal story was interesting as well, even though I occasionally wanted a bit more…I wouldn’t have minded seeing her talk to her Mom at the end. But I loved that through Jade the author tackled the issue of “just because you’re good at something, doesn’t mean that’s what you have to do for life.” As well as the fact that you can excel at more than one thing, but you should pursue the thing that makes you wake up excited about. I think that’s one of the things that I really appreciated about this series as a whole, that while the stories are romances, they also touch on some of the struggles young adults face when approaching the next stage in life.

Lennon…Lennon Lennon Lennon. I had no idea you were going to be the book boy I fell madly in love with. I’m not really a rock star kind of girl, but maybe that’s why Lennon made it through…b/c I loved him despite all that, just as Jade does. I loved how sweet and sensitive he could be. I adored seeing his huge crush on Jade, and being in his head and learning about all the ways she lit up his life. My heart ached for him thinking his Dad meant he wasn’t good enough, and feeling so conflicted about choosing a relationship while also wanting the touring life. I loved how passionate he was about music. I loved that he was a caring friend, and just seemed like a genuinely chill guy. He was also pretty hilarious at times.

And the two of them together were just gold. I got butterflies, and desperately wanted them to figure it out. Of course I also wanted to smack Lennon on occasion, but Liv took care of that for me. And I was so happy with the climax, and then how the rest played out for them.

This one didn’t have a super strong secondary cast either, but I enjoyed the bits we got to see of Lennon with his sister Liv, the very quick glimpses of the parentals, and even Blaise was kind of adorable.

All in all, a kickass end to the series. These two were just my kind of peeps, and I enjoyed seeing them navigate their obstacles to the HEA.

But just once Jade wants to live a little. Starting with attending Lennon Pryor's graduation bash.

Lennon Pryor has his eye on the prize, he's thisclose to signing a record deal for his band with a label that will extend their three-month tour opening for the BlackHats and get them an album. He doesn't have time to start a relationship he'll just end up abandoning. But he can't stop thinking about Jade Aaron, the girl he's wanted to be with since the first time he saw her freshman year.

It's graduation night, and it will be a wild, life changing ride.

I really loved this book. When I requested it I didn't realize it was the third book in (what I believe is) a trilogy but this book can be read as a standalone. I love any book where the male main character is a rock star and this book shows Lennon on the brink of stardom and not wanting to miss out on the girl he's always wanted.

I loved that Jade was an artist who was working on a graphic novel, it made her such a cool character. Jade's mother, on the other hand, was so out of line in the beginning trying to discourage Jade's passion. I hate parent characters like that but it seems to be a popular trope.

This book is a fun, fast read. I devoured it in an afternoon on a snow day and the time flew by.

Overall, this book is perfect for anyone looking for a quick, cute read about getting a chance with someone you never thought would be interested in you.

I received a copy of this title to read and review for Wicked Reads

5 Stars

Young Adult age-range: 12+, includes kissing, alcohol-use not by the MCs, and profanity.

Molly E. Lee is a new-to-me author, which means I read the third installment of the Grad Night series as a standalone, with no confusion at all. I am beyond curious to read the first two installments and others by this author.

The events of Love Beyond Opposites takes place within a singular night, with a prologue and an epilogue set during freshman year in high school and freshman year in college.

Teenagers believe girlfriend and boyfriend means someone you think is hot that you go on dates with, not realizing there is a more important part of that compound word, other than girl or boy... friend.

The Rock Star & the Mathlete.

Lennon spent the whole of his high school career avoiding the girl he truly wanted, fearing he'd hurt her when he reached for rock-stardom. He fell into the trap of how a rock star should/would behave/act/react, instead of being himself, which only made him all the more of a broody heartthrob.

Jade is the quintessential geeky, awkward, one-of-a-kind girl. Born with the gift of numbers, the mathlete has a creative streak for illustration, particularly for graphic novels.

Both of them feeling pressure to fit into the boxes their parents try to fit them into, over their high school career, the math teacher's son and the math teacher's best student bonded, becoming friends over interactions three times a week, while ignoring their attraction.

A series of calamities on graduation night draws Lennon and Jade closer together, in a yummy, angsty page-turner of a novella, which I devoured in a single sitting.

Highly recommend to young adults and those young at heart, looking for an injection of the addictively sweet rush of first love.

I received Love Beyond Opposites by Molly E. Lee from Netgalley in exchange for an honest review. This has no impact on my review. My thoughts are my own.

First of all, I pretty much ship opposite love interests. Fremione? Aka the prankster and the book nerd? Sydney and Adrian in Bloodlines? It was kind of obvious that I would like this book from the start, but I didn't realize I would like it as fast as I did.

I downloaded the book almost immediately and started reading when I could and I couldn't stop reading! I think I posted my reading progress a bunch of times on Goodreads. (I seem to be doing that a lot lately, don't I?)

This opposites love plot was soooooo adorably fluffy and cute and I just loved it. I was able to overlook the fact that it was a really quick romance. That was kind of the whole point of the book, except for the guy had a crush on the girl since like forever. This series is kind of like how I wished my high school romances/crushes would have gone.

I also seem to be on a roll with music themed ARC books lately. This last week alone I have read FOUR music related ARC's. I'm about to finish the fourth one today. But anyway, back to this story. I also liked the music plot side of this story. I kept picturing the guy from If I Stay for Lennon.

This book is a five star rating based on the pace being fast for me, (meaning I was able to enjoy and finish super quickly), the characters, plotline, and the fluffy romance. If you like fast paced, 24 hour type of fluffy romances this book is for you.

Thank you Netgalley and Entangled Teen for giving me the chance to read this book! I enjoyed it.

Love Beyond Opposites (Grad Night #3) by Molly E. Lee

M/F YA Romance
I was given this book for an honest review by Wicked Reads.

This is the third in a series, but can be read as a standalone. It's a sweet story about crushes, growing up, following your dreams and learning to trust in yourself.

Jade is a shy nerd who is amazing with numbers. Her parents have worked incredibly hard to show her that their occupations are exactly where she needs to end up. Her mom is pushy and almost cruel at times and I really didn't like it at all. I thought that her dad was not a strong enough character to stand up to his own wife. Jade is trying very hard to please everyone around her - her teachers and parents, that she is losing sight of what makes her want to get up and get going every day.

Then you have Lennon. He wasn't ever a big brain. His dad is a teacher at the local high school and is head of the mathlete division - which means that Lennon gets to see Jade every week. What starts as a crush blossoms in to songs and feelings that were long buried. Lennon is also trying to figure out what is the most important to him - his music or following his dreams - the big question becomes can he have it all?

These two have an epic night together with one mishap after another. It's a story that takes place over the course of one night but is so packed with emotions and events that it feels longer. I think that this was a great story, but more geared towards teenagers.

I do wish we would have had more time with them in the epilogue, but know that you can only do so much in the pages. It was a story that was sweet and innocent, but packed a lot in to it.

Love Beyond Opposites by Molly E. Lee is an sweet, fun, and delightful YA contemporary romance. I love this genre, there is something so innocent about first loves. I love the quirky people and situations in this book. Jade Aaron is a brain mathlete and Lennon Pryor is a musician. They have know each other for years, and have had a crush on each other. I am rarely disappointed in the Entangled Teen Crush books. I found this book to be a quick read, and recommend it to all YA romance readers, young and old.

I received this book in exchange for a fair and honest review.
