This is an excellent book. If you are interested in fashion design - especially textiles, you will love reading this. The book focuses on the European fashion industry more than it does the craft industry. The designers featured all work independently for the fashion industry, or work for designers who produce couture, and RTW.
There are tons of great pictures, interviews, and resources for design students, and the book is very user friendly and well written. This is only one book in the Basics Fashion Design series. I have read other books from this series, and they are all great.
