And I had to learn a lot of mad skills on friend making. It gave me a love of people…good people, compassionate people. Interesting people of all kinds.
What else about me? I am a mother and wife! I have four amazing boys that are like little ninjas running around. I love them so much and I’m so grateful for my amazing husband who doesn’t get intimidated by all the billionaire men in my life.
I have a fierce love of my Savior, Jesus Christ. I am so grateful for Him and for the healing and forgiveness I’ve gotten to experience in my life. This is a theme in many of my books.

I always enjoy Ms. Hart's books, they're a fun escape!
I just watched the newest Thor movie, so it was very easy to picture Zane as a Thor look-a-like! haha I always enjoy a lost-love storyline and while I am somtimes frustrated by what drove a couple apart in the first place, it is always fun to see them reunited and try and figure things out. Throw in some suspense and you've got a fun read! Zane and Sarah are both likable and you can't help rooting for them to get together. Overall, I thought it was a good read. I look forward to reading the other books n the Navy SEAL Romance series.

Oh, my Zane! I totally loved the characters in The Broken Warrior! Zane might feel like he's broken, but the truth is, all of us are in our own way. It's what made him relatable and had me rooting for him from the get-go. Sarah and her adorable son are likable as well; no wonder Zane falls so hard. I've enjoyed the other books in this SEAL series, and this one keeps the momentum going with its fun, romantic tale and a splash of danger!

Second chance romance
Zane and Sarah have great chemistry. My heart broke for them at the beginning, but I was so happy they got a second chance. Tyler was a sweet boy who added so much to this story. Of course there was suspense and intrigue mixed into this Navy Seal romance.

The Broken Warrior: Navy SEAL Romances: The legendary Kent Brothers Romances is by Taylor Hart. This novel is fun to read and reads quickly and keeps you glued to it. It talks about giving love a second chance.
Sarah had been madly in love with Zane in high school. They would have been on the way to marriage until he joined the Navy and the SEALS as he had always wanted. Being apart was hard, but she had her studies and her memories. Then the inevitable happened, the military approached his family and relayed to them that Zane was killed. Sarah was devastated and her whole world gave way. Jeff had also been a boyhood friend of Zane’s and the three of them had hung together. Jeff was there for Sarah when Zane died. Then Sarah went back to school. She and Jeff ran into each other at a party and began to talk about Zane over a bottle or two or three of alcohol. One thing led to another and they ended up in school together. A few weeks later, she realized she was pregnant. Jeff immediately told her he would marry her for he had been in love with her all the while. Just after she told Jeff she was pregnant, Zane showed up at the school. He hadn’t been dead, just on an undercover job that required he completely disappear. Not even his family knew. When he found out she was pregnant, he was beyond livid. They both said some things they would later regret and he stormed away. He went back to a newly formed civilian unit and disappeared again. Sarah married Jeff and tried to make her marriage work. When she had the baby, Jeff was a very good father. However, he contracted cancer and died leaving her to raise her son on her own.
Zane is given an assignment by Sutton to find evidence that his ex-brother-in-law Harris was selling weapons. Bring him the evidence and Sutton would make sure Harris was tried and convicted. When Zane found out that the matchmaker he was to work with was Sarah, he almost refused; but he had learned to trust Sutton and would do anything for him. Could he manage to ignore Sarah and fulfilled the process.

Then she got the news that he was killed. 5 months later, she had a drunken one-night stand with a friend of theirs, as they were grieving together, and she ended up getting pregnant. Then Zane reappeared, having been undercover and his death reported as part of that. Of course Sarah was honest, and Zane saw it as huge betrayal, and that was the end of them, until seven years later. Now Zane is out of the military, but working for a sort of vigilante group, and Sarah is unwittingly involved in his group's most recent operation. He's shocked to see her, she's shocked to see him, but they've never stopped loving each other. Only now, it's not just Sarah - she also has a son to take care of. And they're both still hurt. Can they make it work again?
Character development: I kinda wanted Sarah to slap Zane, just once, really hard. He acted like she actively betrayed him, and I understand the feeling, but he was dead! She had no way of knowing he wasn't realy dead. Was she supposed to mourn him forever? Obiously, five months isn't long at all, but she was drunk and grieving, and he was dead! So anyways, he was really good with her kid, once he got over himself, and they obviously were good for each other. The praying was a little more than I usually want in my stories, but I did like the level of angst - just a little, sprinkled on top.

This is a romance with intrigue. The set up of the book is interesting and sad but we quickly move forward in time to a happier time and the intrigue begins.
I want to like Zane more than I actually do. I love him with Tyler as he is fun, caring and interacts great with a child. I liked him with Sarah but I just can't quite get past his temper and his desire to hit someone so frequently. Not Sarah of course but he is pretty jealous of anyone who looks at her. He has to work hard to control his desire for violence. And he was pretty broken by her from years earlier. Both Sarah and Zane have broken elements that they have to deal with and fight to control.
The intrigue was good but I didn't understand why the villain was seeking her out so specifically. Was he honestly looking for a matchmaker and then decided he liked her or had he already chosen her and hiring her was just a guise to seek her out? Why did he want her? And why wasn't Sarah suspicious when he showed up at her house with a gift for her son? Even though I questioned a couple things I still enjoyed the intrigue and I enjoy the "Batman" facet of this series.
Sex: Occurred a month prior to opening of book, no sex in the book

This is a clean second chance romance. They both made mistakes that broke them up. Which lead Sarah to marrying someone else. Now years later her and Zane meet up once again. Now Zane is a PI whom looks like Thor. Sarah's son maybe in trouble. Ohh the suspense.
This story moves quickly and you are in for the ride of your life.

The Broken Warrior
This was another great book in this series. This book is a credit to the author as most will realize when they read it. Kimberly did a great job on writing about the seal and his girlfriend and her son and how people can try to take advantage of you without you knowing what they are doing. Second Chances
When Zane & Sarah met in high school they knew. When he was reported dead years later on a SEALS mission it was rough. She was finishing her Junior year in college. She had gone out with friends and ended up getting drunk with his he's friend and she got pregnant. He comes home a month later and he loses his girl and best friend. Seven years later he's there to help her and her son.

Great story
A great entertaining story about an ex-SEAL. It begins with the warrior returning home after being pronounced dead. His girl had just messed up & they were both hurting.
This story contains the right amount of suspense: enough to intrigue but not so much that I quit the book. The military men were presented well. The boy was cute & fun. A clean story

The very first chapter sucks you in and zings you. Be prepared. This book was in tense. The kid nap and return maybe a bit unrealistic with timeline but it made sense in how it was written.
I loved it. I love the reality of this book with real and hard things, choices. I LOVE the come back he his loyalty and love to her. He was HOT! Just a great story.

Loved the characters Zane kent or “Thor” as Trevor, Sarah’s son likes to call him. He is the strong hero in the story, but has that emotionally soft side when it comes to Sarah and Trevor. Just heartwarming and adorable.

Good book
I enjoyed reading this book. It is intriguing, romantic and entertaining. The reason that Zane and Sarah broke up is heartbreaking. I love the way that they were brought back together.

Plot easy to figure out, plus a few too many repeat sentiments. The very first few pages is an emotional roller coaster but found the rest of the novel a little hard to keep on it.... a few times the roller coaster left the tracks in my brain and crashed! hmm

Always love Taylor Harts books and this one did not disappoint! Love these because they are clean, they are romantic and just a tad sexy without the smut!
