When purchasing, I thought I was buying a mystery. Instead I was a getting a romance. This turned out to be trash, although it did contain a few good moments. The constant cursing detracted from an unbelievable story, and some thorough proofreading would have improved the content somewhat.

Good but

The story was good; however, I believe the writer could have stopped saying “Fuck” maybe 1000 times that he used it. It got real old!

Not your best work.

The proofreader must have been drunk when he read this book. There are so many skips, typos, and errors that it was a slog to read. Please write from a man's point instead of a woman's. This was a challenge just to get through.

It never fails

I read the best book first then the next one is pure junk. While I realize there are people on this earth that haven't moved past thinking fuck, fucken and fucking is speaking English its not. Its small minds thinking they're bad when in reality they're the trash heap of America much like you the writer who thought the F word made a good book.

Horrible language

It wasnt the book that was bad. But how many times can you put the word fu into it. Also the book really should have been proofread. I had to go back over a ton of sentences to figure out what was being said

I gave it one star because I finished reading it even when I decided not to. Way too many grammatical errors and silly mistakes like "our evening meeting at 0900".

The basic plot is good, however the book is spoiled by very poor writing. Wrong words in lots of places throughout. Using the same curse word much too frequently. It made it seem rather immature.

Wow! Explosive! Sensational!

I read The Flip Side by Jack first and thought, this is the best thriller I've read in awhile. I still feel it's bar was set very high, but this one is a close, close second! I am a fan for life, and will be reading all of his books! I love thrillers, and I enjoy strong kick-ass men, but being a woman, I enjoy reading books with strong kick-ass women more!

Pretty fast read but can tell spellchecker was used for proofreading as a lot of wrong words used for the sentences.

I enjoyed the characters, especially the relationship between the three main CIA players. I do recommend this story if you're looking for a story with twists and turns.

Jack parker has written a book that is entertaining once you get past the first pages describing an unbelievable character that was kidnapped and tortured and turned into a super black -ops.
The book is full of explicatives but somehow turns saccharin with a romance content.
I finished the book and felt it was geared toward a high school level female audience.

I truly enjoy Jack Parker's books. They are fast moving with a lot of twists and turns. And, you never know but how the book is going to end. All you know is it will be an exciting book with a great ending.

The trap

It is so hard to believe all the evil in the world, and even harder to believe it can be so seamlessly woven into a believable narrative that holds the attention to the last word.

Are some words used too much for the detriment of the story?

This is an exciting story of intrigue and deception. I think the story could be cut in half of all the variations of the f word were deleted or changed to something else.

There are so many twists and turns that it is hard for the reader to keep up.Surprise after surprise. The characters are well described, and the plot will keep the reader guessing.

Awesome Read

For the people to be CIA agents you don’t expect so many minor mistakes nor do you expect the CIA to have a black-ops that uses teenagers!!!! Very good read....I could not stop...the suspense will keep you reading to find out what happens next!

Enjoyed the book. You should change editors though. Many typos, double words, missing words etc. I will read more of your books for the interesting plots, not just the editing errors. Let me know if you read this. I often wonder.

Gripping

Areas of confusion, but pretty intense. What a life Emily / Mary had lived. I am glad she found happiness finally.

Editing non-existant

Story may have been a good story but I don't believe it had any editing. Poorly formed sentences wording transposed. The F bomb dropped unnecessarily only by main character which was a female. When other words used like dqrn instead of damn. Half the time the f bomb was diffinently not used necessarily. Messed the whole book up trying to read around the one word. Poorly written, most of the time you couldn't tell when main character was actually talking to someone or to the reader. I don't like to start a book and not finish but it was hqrd getting through this book with all the errors.
