Love is powerful but so is lust and greed. The suspense begins when evil has fallen like a mist over a small town, capturing the innocent with their own weaknesses. Kieran has to not only defeat his lust, he also has to battle the epitome of evil to save the town and the world. Deception becomes the norm and sex is the dessert with the soul as the cherry.

On The Edge of Evil is a wonderful story. It will take you through a wide range of emotions that will send your world spinning. Good vs. Evil, Love vs. Lust, Hope vs. Despair, Truth vs. Lies… not to mention the excitement and laughter that Mitch Bensel brings to this book. Normally, I can figure out a book before the ending. This time I was pleasantly surprised. The twists and turns are easy to follow, but at the same time will shock you. I feel extremely privileged to have read this book and look forward to reading more from this amazing author.

I bought "On the Edge of Evil" upon recommendation of a friend. I found it to be very different from any other book. Never before had I read such a good descriptions of what demons may look like and how they interacted with and fooled humans. I found it fascinating to see how this theme developed with the main character and his female interests. The relationships between good and evil were not apparent to me early in the book. As I read, I found the story began to be somewhat frightening. At times, it was too scary and I had to stop reading for a while. It was worth finishing! Complex interactions between characters kept my interest. I thoroughly enjoyed the unexpected but great ending.
