A lot of good ideas throughout the book, with a lot of different styles. I think the smaller size of the book makes it hard to get a good look at some of the artwork represented. Two artists I discovered here that I'm certainly going to seek out are James Read (who lets painted parts dry and then cuts/reapplies) and Janet Jones (who uses the worn edges of torn papers as landscapes).

Lovely presentation with tons of ideas but why it got 5 stars is that it sent me down a rabbit hole of new artists who use collage, and into creating Pinterest boards for future reference.

Each page is wonderful. I could have earmarked all of them but I recognize which way I'm moving so I just earmarked the artists headed there. If you like Collage, this is just a wonderful little resource!

This book includes some talented collage artists with different approaches and styles. I bookmarked a number of pages with inspiring images. But I think the editor would have done better to choose a larger format. The small reproductions rob many of the collages of impact, and those works with lots of small detail do not come across well. Happy to have the book nevertheless.

Very good look at many different ways to do collage using examples from collage artists. This is definitely an inspiration book rather than a how-to.

What I really loved, apart from the beautiful collage images, was the size of this book. It is a little treasure! I fancy packing it into my bag when I venture out and being able to dip into it like a box of delicious chocolates.
Moore has curated a fabulous book with works from a diverse range of artists - providing something for everyone. There are so many fantastic ideas: you can't help but feel inspired!

A showcase of many collage artworks by various artists, from which you can hopefully get some inspiration. Many of the examples looked the same to me, or were built around the same concept/idea.

This is an incredible book of collage ideas. One can flip through the pages and get creative with their own works with a variety of samples from using art from junk to experimenting with embroidery. It comes with 160 styles to choose from. One page has a short description with the opposite side showing what someone has done.

However, there is one thing to consider with this book. It's small - 6 1/2 inches by 5 1/2 inches. The book could easily be carried in a small bag. Yet, it would be easier to read with a larger font for the printed page. If I saw it in a bookstore, I might have dismissed it because of the size. The photos are good and it makes you want to run to the art room and immediately go into a zone and use some of the examples to make something extraordinary.

Nothing but praise and gobs of inspiration for this sweet, totable book. If you're a poet, writer, artist, maker - you just might find inspiration in these pages. I found plenty of quirk, uniqueness and clever artistry in the collages.

While I might not run out and copy what I've seen, there is enough food for thought to get your creative flow, well, flowing. Bright, fun, inspiration: Exactly what I'd hoped to find.

Es un poco repetitivo y me atrevería a decir que hasta tiene algunos errores de traducción.

Tiene información interesante pero está mal organizada, me da la impresión que este libro se hizo a la rápida y no se cuidaron algunos detalles…

Si te gusta el collage es una buena introducción pero en definitiva no es la mejor ni la más trascendente, tiene algunas referencias inspiradoras pero en mi opinión le sobran 100 páginas (y tiene 175)

This book was smaller than I had anticipated but fascinating nonetheless. I didn’t love all of the artist styles represented but appreciate the talent to create each of them. It’s an inspiring book and I (like another reviewer) dog eared a several pages that I think may springboard me into action on days when I can find flow. This is a good compendium if you are into collage.

Great little coffee table book filled with inspiring collage artists.
Interesting insights into different techniques, models to follow and the leading source artist in this form. Thoroughly inspiring.

This is one of those books that's great to flip through and get inspiration. I like the little blurbs about each artist and the techniques they use. Favorites are Anna Hymas and her layered painted paper approach, Debbie Lyddon's cloth and paper landscapes, and Shelley Rhodes' tiny pieces of art using pretty much any material she finds at local secondhand shops. A book of beauty and delight!

Yeh really liked this book, gave me lots of new idea threads to follow and introduced me to tons of artists I want to look up. It's a small book so isnt easy to see the images and often only one image is included per idea, so digging around online is necessary.
