Rate this book
SOPHIE HUNTSBERGER and ARRICK CARRERO start their new life together in France, where Sophie hopes to follow her dream and finish her term in the Paris Fashion Academy.

Everything seems too good to be true and a happy ever after is clearly on the cards. Or is it?

Unforeseen long separations and being cut off from family and friends half way across the world all take a toll.

And that’s on top of the conflicts Sophie is facing from fellow students who see her as a threat.

While the threads unravel faster than Sophie can sew them back up, life takes a drastic turn - and Sophie and Arrick’s love faces a critical test.

This is the final instalment of the Sophie and Arrick story. Is it the end? Or is it happy ever after?

You’ll be holding your breath to the very last page.

Leanne Marshall is a Scottish-born and bred romance writer with more than average life experience. She has been a torrent of wild things, including a singer in a girl band, animal rights activist, and charity owner, worked on radio, and offered jobs on TV.
A passionate, restless soul who has always found peace in writing, the only way to calm that fiery spirit.
She uses her wit and dark humor to her advantage in her works and has been an avid reader for most of her life. Her influences vary, but from early life and a teen stint in journalism, she applies logic to most of her plot lines, is a confessed research fiend, and likes a lot of psychology behind her character's actions.
She currently resides in Central Scotland with her two children and Fiancee of 13 years, making waves in the book world with her signature 'WTF moments' she likes to apply in each story, hints of humor, and devastating emotional rollercoaster rides.
Quote from L.T. Marshall - 'Writing has always been an escape for me, loving that no matter what you are doing, where you are - you can create ideal fantasy and get lost in someone else's life. I love nothing more than drawing a reader with me on a journey that tortures your every emotion before the grand exhale.'

The plot idea was good and the Hero was amazing, really loyal BUT the heroine was a nightmare.
She was so awful to the Hero.
At one point they have a huge fight and what he tells her is true.
Even later she is still a raging *****.

Accusation or suspicion of cheating, untrue but other woman is interested.
No intimate scenes other than the Hero and heroine.
HEA.

OMG what a book. I have followed this series from the beginning and have become so invested in these characters. I will admit that up until Book 5 I was a huge advocate for #teamjake but after reading book 6 I saw another side to Arry and really warmed to him. There are parts of this book that hit home with me and I felt every emotion along with Sophie.

Grab a drink, some chocolate and a box of tissues and settle down to read another fantastic book from L.T. Marshall.

When you don't think it can get any better, L.T. Marshall throws you back into the whirlpool of emotions... again.

I must admit, after reading last two books following a story of Arrick and Sophie, I was quite content with the ending of the book 5, letting them move to Paris and get on with the new chapter of their lives. I wasn't sure another book covering their love story was needed but I am so glad I was wrong. There was so much more to be told about their relationship, about journey they need to go through. Journey that can mold them into one even more or shatter them into tiny pieces no one will ever manage to put together again.

Arrick and Sophie, two puzzle pieces that fit so well together, love that can overcome impossible obstructions had to again go through challenging times. Neither of them is enjoying their time in Paris as they both expected, it's a lot harder and they spent less time together month by month. The gap between two souls is expanding and when life throws at them the biggest challenge they had to face yet, their life starts falling apart. In times they should stick together more and just hold on tight to each other for support, they fail to be even each others company. They both have to find the way back to who they were and what they mean to each other and it's not easy when grief clouds their minds and breaks their hearts.

There were many things I absolutely loved about this book but the biggest would be the character development, which was so needed. Both Arrick and Sophie has gone through amazing transformation and I am so glad that they managed to 'grow up' together in this book and not grow apart. Without a doubt Sophie was driving me insane at parts with her mood swings and childish behaviour, but then I took a step back and thought. This girl is 21, without any real relationship experience, has been cared for by her family or Arrick for past 8 years and got away with a lot. Of course she is acting spoilt or childish. Stuff she had to deal with in past and things happening to her now are a lot to deal with even for someone much older, so I forgave her and understood her strops and moods a lot better. Arrick being the strong support to her for all those years has finally shown he also has his faults, his weaknesses and I am so glad it came through in this book. He started to seem a lot more real and not so perfect, although we know he is pretty much a dream man for every girl or woman out there! Shame that he's taken :)

I found it amazing how yet again I could so easily connect to characters and their feelings. Thankfully I have never had to deal with anything even remotely so difficult as Arrick and Sophie but I could literally just feel what they felt by reading the words and at one point cried like a baby from relief, happiness, sadness, all mixed emotions.

There was quite a few heart stopping moments but one simple moment in this book totally got me and I had to take a break and just cry myself out. But then I didn't expect anything less from L.T.Marshall, after all her books do come with a warning.

So all in all, massive congratulations to publishing yet another brilliant book and I will just keep recommending these series to everyone as usual :)

Is it possible that even after everything seems right new life problems come up?

Sophie and Arrick try their new found love in a new city where they think is their future. And a lot, I mean a lot of things are coming up that they have to face.

I don't like giving up a lot about the plot but had to say that this wonderful, amazing and incredible love story is something everyone should read.

The main character isn't a typical rich, handsome, etc. guy. He is all that, but in such a better way. And his character develops through out these books incredibly. It's amazing what kind of man he was, what he accomplished, how he treats Sophie and how he stands up for himself when needed as well as show real emotions. Arrick really appealed to me because he was such a tangible person, someone I would really like to be friends with, someone I respect.

Sophie, ah my Sophie. :)
An abused child, went through so many pain and still manages to find something great in her life to live for and open up to people she loves.
She acts in this third installment as some one that we girl wouldn't like to have as a friend, but all of her behavior has an ugly root somewhere from before. She just acts like many of us would, but in a more hyper sensitive way. I was from time to time annoyed with her reactions but I somehow new that it's just her defensive system.

And her development for me is the BIGGEST success of this writers' writing here. Her thoughts, her feelings, her lies and honesty, everything she goes through and everything she achieves is so meticulously described that I enjoyed every minute of her life trip.
Sophie's maturing, Sophie's taking on this world and Sophie's quirky love for food and unique taste in unicorns just appealed so much to me that I looked at her from time to time as I look at my younger sister.

L.T. Marshall has gotten so under my skin that I wanted to 'go inside' the book somehow and tell Arrick and Sophie that everything is going to be OK and that for everything that's happened to them they are just going to be better people because of it.

Oh My Goodness!! What a wild ride!!

I felt so sorry for both characters at several points throughout this story, and this has been such a mix of emotions my mind is reeling!

The characters have come so far since book 4 and i love how they have gradually built and worked together, but in true L T Marshall fashion, there are several heart-wrenching moments along the way!

Several times i said “OMG why would you do that?!” Because I couldn’t believe what had happened, at the same time loving the surprises Marshall has in store.

The confusion and heartache the characters feel as they navigate very realistic and very difficult situations is beautifully done, making the readers heart ache along with them. I found myself desperately trying to read faster to find out what would happen, to see where these amazing people were going and how they would get there.

These are complex characters, and Marshall has done an astounding job once again of maintain their complex personalities whilst gradually maturing them and building their relationship around very real issues and concerns.

The storyline is far from predictable and i adore the twists and turns, the surprises Marshall incorporates into the storyline. They give the romantic story a more honest air, and a believable progression through life’s challenges and complications.

I loved the conclusion to this amazing trilogy, and can’t wait to see what the next Carrero series will bring!

Another amazing and brilliantly written book. The final chapter of Sophie and Arrick’s story has been wrapped up with as much heartfelt emotion and sentiment as their beginning and middle. Like the other books in the Carrero series, you feel every emotion (happiness, anger, frustration and heartbreak) whilst being transported into the pages and lives of the characters. I’m a little sad that their story is over but I’m sure they will pop up in future books.
These books just get better and better with each one and L.T. Marshall’s ability to write in such a way that makes you feel like you are part of the characters’ lives yourself, and are experiencing their joy, pain and love along with them is awe-inspiring.
I will be patiently waiting for the next one to be released.

Wow, what an end to the series! This book is an utter emotional rollercoaster and at times I found it difficult to read, but I loved it. Its the perfect conclusion to Sophie and Arricks story. I will admit however I did want to throttle Sophie several times. We also get to catch up with characters from previous books. I can't wait for the next one!

Get your tissues ready because it will break your heart!

Very emotional. Just when you thought that Arry and Sophie had endured more than enough pain already to last a lifetime, they are tested again. Can true love really conquer all?

Good!

The final instalment of Sophie and Arricks story. I have to say I love Arrick. This book still had some really LOL moments with sophie's tantrums, but at many points I wanted to jump into the book and throttle her. Arrick has the patience of a saint, but finally they get a happy ending.
If you like a friends to lovers book, second and third chances, then you'll enjoy this trio of books. I

I definitely loved Arrick better than Jake, but Jake was a reformed character in these books and we got to see a different side to him which was nice. It was nice to see the two carrero brothers get a life they deserved.

Emotional roller coaster with some pretty unexpected results. Not sure if I love Sophie and Arrick more than Emma and Jake. Still they were so cute together. Sophie’s attitude was on the forefront most of the time. Quite annoying buuuuuut we finally got the character development we all deserved and I kinda like the idea of a character with flaws. Especially because I could relate in so many situations, which is why I guess I need to reconsider my own attitude… ups hahah… but that’s what a good book does to you right?
Still soooo in love with the Carrero family… and Christian. Christian is the bestest ;)

I love the Carrero series by LT Marshall. Arrick and Sophie's story would have to be up there with my favourite books. We were first introduced to the younger Ari and Sophs in Jake and Emma's book. Now thus is their own story. This amazing author has a style of drawing you in then blindfolding you and sending you in different directions. There are a lot of tears and laughter as well as frustration to be felt reading this story but everything is worth it because this is a book that no matter how many times you read it, you will always come back..

Arry and Sophie... I read the first five books of The Carrero Series back to back and heard that a third Arry and Soph book was being published and I could not wait to get my hands on it as I am a self proclaimed Carrero Addict!

Marshall does not disappoint with this novel it is as fabulous as the first five! The ups and downs of Arry and Sophie and the ebb and flow of their relationship leaves you breathless and warms your heart at times and at others you really want to tell them to knock it off but growth takes time.

Like all of the characters in The Carrero Series they grow and develop into part of your family and you will definitely have a few moments of OMG but Marshall has done it again a fabulous ending to the romance of Arrick and Sophie! Five stars... everyone needs to read this series!
