Sarah Garland and best friend Amanda have just begun to acknowledge that winter is here to stay in Snow Falls, Alaska. I had caught myself up in this series about a year ago and remembered that I'd wanted to read this one. It was sitting in my Kindle Unlimited, so as part of a personal challenge to move some items out of there to make room for new--and because I wanted to visit Snow Falls, Alaska again, I thought I'd read it today.
Sarah had to deal with a serial killer from her past and of course she won, but it was a tough battle this time with him threatening those she loved. Her story had a very sweet ending with her sweetheart, Conrad. And can I just say everyone needs a BFF like Amanda! For not being a cop, she's been super brave through this whole series, and this book was no exception. A quick and thrilling read!

Oh to have a friend like Amanda. I’m glad Sarah finally put that divorce behind her, if only it wasn’t in such a devastating way. A serial killer is playing games and the entire town is at risk. In a nonstop thrill ride, Amanda, Sarah, Conrad, Andrew, Pete and the town, have to band together to defeat this monster in their midst even as a vicious storm bears down on the town. Who will survive??

Brad, Sarah's ex-husband, has contacted her in hopes of reconciling their marriage. Sarah has moved on since the divorce that brought her to a new life in Snow Falls, AK. When Brad shows up it seems his reconcilation hopes were a ruse and instead brings with him a serial killer from Sarah's past...one who, of course, wants her dead.
The town of Snow Falls is now held captive by this serial killer and by the game he forcing Sarah to play. Can she solve the clues in time and save the people she has come to love and set the town free?
This is by far my favorite book of the series. Amanda never ceases to amaze me. The love she has for her friends is a fierce one and she kicks butt when needed most.
There was so much action going on in this one. Bad storm that has the town snowed in. Serial killer that is holding the town hostage. Games Sarah must play in order to save the ones she loves. Crazy climax as she faces off the serial killer and fights him at his own deadly game. Whew! What a fun read.

Let it Snow!! That song reminds us of snowy days that are fun, not serial killers on the loose. Sarah and Amanda have faced their share of bad guys but this one is the worst. The characters in this story are fantastic. As each new book comes out the characters grow a little more and are like old friends. The story held my interest and I could not put it down. You will love this series and Ms. Meadows writing style. Try it, you will not be sorry. I received an Advance copy of this book. This is my honest opinion.

Please tell me there is a number 8 coming!!! I love this series!!!! Thank u Wendy Meadows for writing the Alaska series!!! Even though u can read these as stand-a-lone books I have read them all in order,and made sure I had next book waiting so I could jump right into the next without waiting! Love Sarah, Amanda... and let’s talk about Conrad!!! I can just see how handsome he is! Haha anyway please write more...these r edge of your seat rollercoster ride of constant action and keeps u guessing thanks again!!

Didn't like this one either
Like the book before this, I didn't care for this. Again, an over the top killer who wants to play a game. It's all recycled nonsense. Even the way they capture him is the same. I did like the end buy felt cheated in a way cause it went from a slow & steady pace to being done & we didn't get to see any of it. I almost put it down cause I thought it was unreadable but I hate doing that so I suffered through it. I wouldn't waste your time unless you want to read the whole series. I'm not sure I can suffer through the next book.

I received an Advanced Review copy of this book. This is the first time I am reading this series. I like the characters but I found that Sarah’s emotions were really all over the place. Even thought there was a lot to be emotional about in the story, I found her reactions to be extreme. I will read a couple more of these books before I decide whether or not this series is for me. I love the other series from this author so maybe this book was not the best place to start.

Wendy Meadows has done it again. Snowy Misery is an excellent book. I like the setting small town Alaska and the are expecting a blizzard, even better. The characters are fantastic. The end was a surprise to me. The book was good I couldn't put it down I finish it in a day. If mystery is your thing please read the book, you won't be disappointed.

I love this series. In this one, it's winter again in Snow Falls and Amada's husband is back in London so she's been staying with Sarah. Sarah's ex-husband comes to town and says he wants to get back together but he has ulterior motives that Sarah, Amanda and Conrad must figure out before they all end up dead!

Some minor time jumping, but overall just an okay story. Relied a bit too much on emotions that weren't enough to carry it. Possibly wrapped up for good given the epilogue, but I suppose you never know.

Another great book in this series!
I really enjoyed this book. I love the way Wendy writes! You get to hear everyone’s thoughts not just the main narrator’s. It has wonderful characters & a great storyline, very suspenseful. Can’t wait to read the next book in this series.

Once an ex always an ex
Nice twist. Enjoy this series very much. Could be a stand-alone but better if read in order. Sometimes the past needs to be present to be taken care of properly.

Absolutely love this series of books. Wendy has a brilliant writing mind. I have followed her through all aspects of her writing.... Just an amazing woman who entertains with her multi faceted themes in her books. Love her!

This has new characters and new problems. There are also different mysteries to solve. Warning, it is very hard to stop reading. The location of Alaska has interesting challenges. This is the halfway point of this series. So here I go.

Loving these stories!
Another great instalment in the Alaska Cozy Mystery series - this is number 7. I really enjoyed the book and loved the characters. It’s a great story and series which I would highly recommend.

Exciting
I was on the edge of my seat. This story got so intense and I have gotten so close to these people, that I couldn't put the book down till I found out they were going to be fine.

Characters work well together
The story line kept me wanting to read more, it was totally engrossing. The characters make a good contrast to each other. I definitely plan on reading more of the series.

The adventures in Snow Falls continues in this fast paced cozy mystery! Sarah, Amanda and Conrad have a geniune serial killer on the loose. Story is action packed and difficult to put down.
