Adding the box sets so as to avoid skewing my reading challenge more than it already is.

I don't know how much I would have rated this had I read this first but as it turns out I watched the anime first so 3 stars.

For the first part of the first season, the anime is better than the manga because the former rearranges the manga chapters for better storytelling and pacing. The manga is a tad too quick to go into the second invasion and the training scenes should indeed have come before: the anime rectifies this.

So I didn't want like a whole lot of volumes in my reading challenge so Ill just be adding box sets.
I removed the previous volumes so my reviews also were lost but all of them said one thing.

I am loving this manga I love the characters the art the story everything. I remembered most of the starting season bcoz of how iconic everything is. Everyone needs to read this manga or at least watch the anime bcoz the adaption is really faithful.

I read this series as the anime released in real time, often not wanting to wait for the next season to continue with the plot. This is an exceptional series, truly one that will stick with you forever.
