When I first received a review copy of this book I flipped through it and nothing really spoke to me. When I had the opportunity to actually try the program as an 8 week journey rather than just reference reading I realized what a gem I had been given. The steps are all laid out for you. Not every suggestion will be your cup of tea but going through the process at least once will help you build an arsenal of tools that do work for you.

As a long time combatant of anxiety and depression I would highly recommend trying this program. Actually give it the full 8 weeks and be sure to really commit to the process.

I feel as a society, so many of us are always on the run. We often feel like we need to accomplish something and can forget to live in the moment. This book is amazing. It forces you to stop, take a break, and live in the moment.

Living a mindful life is more of an experience. While helping you go through the motions of getting to your peaceful place, this book takes you on a journey. The journey is set up for the reader with lots of guidance to help you reach your goal.

I will point out, in the beginning setting aside time to actually go through the motions might be difficult, but this book is amazing. It is filled with plans, tips, and tricks to help you relax and be in control of yourself.

I received this book in exchange for an honest review. All opinions are mine and were in no way influenced by outside sources. I am a professional blogger at Little Lady Plays

The 8 week solution to help readers manage anxiety, worry and stress!

This book includes discussing what anxiety is, how to use the book and then 8 separate chapters which includes things like social anxiety, panic attacks, working with difficult emotions, to name a few.

Each chapter is a different week-for example week 4 is social anxiety. Within that chapter there are 7 days of assignments which includes exercises, journaling and reflections to do that all focus on social anxiety.

I found this book very helpful and I loved all the journaling spots to take notes.

I received a copy of this book complimentary for blog and social media review. All opinions are my own.

While I was going through this book I was definitely impressed. Very straight-forward, good advice, and great workbook pages. The pages included things like checklists, short answer questions, guides to identifying rational vs irrational thoughts, separating thoughts and feelings, daily challenges, and short takeaways.

I particularly liked the step-by-step meditation guides!

Help

This book has helped me a lot. I will get so anxious over the littlest things, like if I don't see a friend for a long period of time. I mean, I have the right to be worried since I'm a worrisome person

Lost my interest

Some good information throughout. Skipped and skimmed through most of it. Maybe has good resources at the end of the book. This book might be helpful to some people, though.
