The origin story of Bella...
That little twist was really unexpected but honestly it should have been expected since Bella's mom always adopts special children.
A short and quick insight into Bella. Hoping for more - a full length novel! Fingers crossed.

Great book, loved every minute of it. I love how each story explains something new in the legion of Angels books. There are hints of adventures taken by the main supporting characters in the series, and this book helps explain them all. I look forward to reading more of Hank and Bella, as well as Ivy and Drake.

A short story about Bella (finally!) with an unexpected twist in the end. And of course her full name is Bellatrix.
3 stars because I'd liked a longer story, she's such an interesting character! Even more now.

Leda’s sister, Bella discovers her own origins when Harker asks Bella to help him uncover who’s been using dark magic at the university. This story was short and sweet.

Legion of Angels anthology: 15 linked short stories spanning across the chronology of the LoA series. Stories 10-15 could be a book in themselves.
1) Twelve Dancing Angels: ‘LoA 0.5. 3 stars. Nyx’s POV. Her early life before she knew what she was and became an angel. She has no memory of where she came from and is having deadly nightmares that may be real.
2) The Angel of New York: LoA 2.5. 3 stars. Nero Windstriker’s POV. He battles criminals in his city (boring), then has an encounter with Leda in the library. A good example of how Leda’s messed up his emotions.
3) The Witching Well: LoA 3.5. 3 stars. N.Y. University students Bella and Marina set out on a quest to find the Witching Well and discover a dangerous book.
4) Heaven in a Handbasket: LoA 4.5. 3 stars. After an attack on Storm Castle, Basanti and Leila accidently fall into another world reality and have to fight an unusual dragon to escape. Beginning of their getting back together.
5) Wicked Witchcraft: LoA 5.5. 3 stars. Leda’s sister Bella helps the angel Harker investigate a surge of dark magic at the witch’s university and has a scary encounter with the demon Valerian.
6) Pandora’s Box: LoA 6.5. 4 stars. Calli’s POV. A look into the early days of Calista Pierce and her family. Gaius gives her a job to catch a gang of vampires and she meets a young Leda for the first time.
7) Trick or Treasure: LoA 7.5. 4 stars. Coronel Jace Angelblood’s first mission as an angel is to retrieve a dangerous treasure box. He’s teamed up with Colonel Arius Tidebreaker, his biggest rival.
8) Witch’s Gambit: LoA 8.5. 4 stars. Novella about Bella & Harker. After helping her get some Venom to boost her powers, Harker accompanies Bella’s on a journey to find Valerian to ask him for a favor and discover more about her parentage.
9) Dragon Fire: LoA 9.5. 4 stars. Ivy’s POV. The Earth Dragon is dead. Basati leaves to search for the killer, leaving Ivy & Drake in charge of the castle and an injured Fire Dragon. They finally realize that they were meant for each other.
10) The Lost Workshop: LoA 10.2. 5 stars. Zane’s POV. He searches for the lost workshop of the Immortal magic smith Sunfire just to discover he’s too late and it’s surrounded by demons. But he finds an accomplice that he can’t trust.
11) Dark Angel: LoA 10.5. 4 stars. Aerilyn’s POV. Zane finds Aerilyn’s fortress and wants his artifacts back, but she wants to flirt instead. Until her Aunt Sonja shows up.
12) The Wand of Witchcraft: LoA 10.7. 3 stars. Bella has discovered the secret of the wand and her mother’s location and is leading a party to rescue her.
13) Angel’s Favor: LoA 11.2. 4 stars. Gin is searching for her sister Bella, who left to protect them from a curse, and she seeks help from a demigod named Stash.
14) Djinn’s Journey: LoA 11.5. 5 stars. Tessa accidently teleports herself into a dark, dangerous prison. There’s no way out and she finds a long lost hero.
15) The Final Artifact: LoA 11.7. 5 stars. Callie is sent on a mission with General Silverstar to find an object of power. Loved this. Callie gets her long awaited reward both physically and emotionally.
16) Phoenix Rising: Phoenix Dynasty series 0.5. 4 stars. The prequel story for the spin-off series. After her House was taken over by the House of Dragon, Arina Phoenix flees to Earth. Now she has to return to Avalon with her ten-year-old twins to investigate and revenge the murder of her parents and try to reclaim the House of Phoenix.
