The Kitten series will always remain my shining star. Rae and her family is what got me into writing and what's kept me going. As I venture off towards new characters and storylines, one thing that will stay the same is the butch/femme dynamic. I have even dabbled with butch/soft butch non-binary characters. I love masculine women and everything about them, from their charm, chivalry, style and everything else in between.

This past spring I happily signed a contract with Painted Hearts Publishing for my new book, A Jade's Diamond, that will be released in the new year. I hope to continue working with the lgbtq publisher for more great stories I write.

I look forward to hearing your opinion toward my older books and my newer books that will be published in the near future.

Miss Dafoe, you have broken my heart

Kitten was a cyclone of emotions, explosive moments, edge of your seat, white knuckle scenes, and it rocked me. Part two was heavier on the romance and emotions than the action, and it was deep and so sad. Oh my sh*t, I can't believe that happened! Why? Poor Rae. As much as part of the story was heart wrenching and devastating, there was a beautiful light at the end of the tunnel for Rae. And it did take Rae time to accept her new role in life, but when she did, I was crying. I cried before that, but that scene when Rae finally connected with (not saying) oh, how beautiful it was. Ruby and Rae grew exponentially closer, even as they struggled to balance their fiery relationship between Christina's and Rae's relationship. There was some fun moments in this tale, and moments that had me thinking that it might be lights out for more than one character. I thoroughly enjoyed Rae and Christina's wedding, it was described beautifully and the vow part was funny and entertaining. Dafoe had managed to capture the true love and devotion each woman had for one another and how important they were to each other. If only real life could be that way.

The Kitten story is becoming a fast favourite and I can't wait to dive into the third book.

Well……I loved Kitten….and I loved the sequel even more.

Despite being a shorter story it was still as action packed and gripping and had all the drama I just knew it would. Rae continues to be the most amazingly conflict of personalities that just works perfectly for her character, and heartache and misfortune still follow her.

Ghosts from the past, haunting premonitions of the future and disaster strikes as we joined Rae on her rollercoaster life into marriage with Christina, a baby and even more!

I just adored this story and will continue to do so. It is so unusual to find Rae’s type of personality in this genre and I find it so attractive. Char Dafoe has done and wonderful job and I hope one day to read more about Rae, whether it be another sequel or even a prequel. I just can’t get enough of Rae!

I don’t write reviews, because I’m totally not a reviewer, but this series has me on such an emotional roller coaster. I finished this book before bed last night and fell asleep so sad and then woke up still sad. There has not been a time so far where I wasn’t feeling an emotion so intensely while reading this series, which is not super common for me. I’m looking forward to reading what comes next for Rae… I think

Wow.....what an improvement

I just want to say this book definitely brings you through every emotion. The author's writing was so much easier to follow in this book.

If you want a book that has a little suspense and a lot of love then read this book. But before you do you will definitely want Book 1. Can't wait to see what Book 3 brings.

Another great page turner by Char Dafoe! I laughed, cried , loved, hated, and feared along with the characters in this gut-wrenching book. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a good read!

This is the second installment of Kitten. Christina and Rae's romance continues to grow. With Ruby on the sidelines. The characters are raw and real. The story is well developed and gets you invested in the characters. You do not want it to end.

An enjoyable sequel, I liked it but not as much as the first story. Main character continues to melt my willpower.

I liked the first book, but that was years ago... Since then I read the author's other books that I enjoyed way more so it was a bit disappointing. I didn't really like Rae to begin with, the cheating and what seems like countless of stupid decisions really frustrated me.
It's not a bad book though, not at all, just not really my cup of tea anymore.

Very good plot. It's a Fem/Butch, leather/motorcycle story where lives all hang together. There are very rough/tough parts to read as well as hot sexy parts. Well edited.

Real

This book is so good. The women are who they are...beautiful, strong and great big full hearts. The author writes them in a way that you feel as if they're friends of yours in the real world. Well done!
