It's Live!!!
Want a steamy, short and safe MC story? Esther Schmidt has really delivered when it comes to packing a punch in a short read. I hope she keeps adding to this series.
HERO~ Bark- I'm not going to lie, when we first meet him, he doesn't give the best first impression. I don't care to hear about him with other women. He was just callous about it and it didn't add anything to the story FOR ME. That being said, the minute he sees the heroine Jodi, that's it. He is protective and bossy. It was definitely instalove and he was planning to be with her forever.
HEROINE~ Jodi was a good heroine. I like that she had some sass but she wasn't alpha. I prefer my heroines like her. I don't want them kicking everyone's a$$. Even though she didn't have much choice, she didn't constantly push Bark away. She was kind and a good fit for Bark and the club.
SEXUAL HISTORY~ Bark hadn't been with anyone in a few months. Jodi wasn't highly experienced but she wasnt a virgin either.
OM/OW DRAMA ~ None
STEAM The steam happened later in the book, but it was hot.
VIOLENCE Club violence but nothing of a sexual nature
SECONDARY CHARACTERS Not a lot of secondary character but thankfully we didn't have to see any with other women or being skanky
SAFETY Safe - neither are with others after meeting
ENDING~ Good epilogue 6 years later

It's so easy to love the alpha men in Lost Valkyries MC series! They are all rough, possessive and very protective of their mates and VP, Bark was not different. Although he was tasked to get further intel on a new beauty shop in the community, little did he know that the woman he admired for her backside in the beauty shop was none other than 'the one' but also the one on his hit list pile. But due to excessive cleaning at the compound causing a misplacement of said note by Prez Ronin's ol' lady, Anouk, Gust another member of Valkyries MC took the assignment, set the explosives and K- A -B- O- O- M, it's gone right before Bark, Jodi and other's very eyes. Poor Jodi has lost everything within a matter of minutes because her living space was also attached to the shop, but Bark is right there to pick up the pieces and more!

If you're following my reviews, you know that words aren't my strong point. Most of the time I struggle to find right words to express myself. And now... *sighs* To review Esthers books becomes even harder. Because with each damn book she hits the jack pot, with each H of hers that steals a piece of my heart, and kickass awesome h, I start to become like a damn broken record with the same damn words. So, yeah, you got it by now. Bark is awesome. That dirty sexy mouth of his... That man... I just wanna to steal him and bring him home.

Comes off at first alittle meh since how he views woman but that changes when he steps onto a hair salon he has on their Hit list. He sees Jodi and he is sprung at first site!! Before he can talk or tell the brother this place is protected one of the MC brothers blows it up on accident since the Prez wife/old lady accidentally went on a cleaning spree and well that note went into the wrong box..
Jodi is upset about everything but she does give into Barks ways since she has no one, no home, no shop.. plus someone wanted her dead in the first place. Once the problem is taken care of Bark is going to marry and his woman.

I licked Bark first dang it only to lose him to a sassy, feisty hairdresser *insert dramatic slightly hysterical sobs* Hot, sexy, alpha as they come, Bark really ticks those boxes in big, smoking hot red marker ticks. Like the mother of all red ticks... Huge! I think he even out ticks Ronin *gasps slightly in disbelief* Oh and his hidden assets, be still my beating heart. Josie is unique, feisty and a great addition to the Lost Valkyries MC family. Each time Esther even remotely hints at finishing a book, my greedy hands begin to itch with the uncontrollable urge to grab on tight and the possible repetitive phrase of gimme, gimme, gimme goes through the head. I’m slowly running out of awesome job wording for my reviews when it comes to Esther’s work.

This was a page turner for sure. Bark’s M.C. got a request to blow up Jodi’s salon and when Bark goes to check out the salon he sees Jodi’s ass and its lust at first sight! I loved Bark and Jodi. Bark’s all alpha and Jodi is a cute type of crazy lol. This was a great quick read! I’ll be reading the rest of this series!

OMG how does this author manage to keep surprising me and each book getting better than the one before, when the one before was already fantastic. Honestly I loved Jodi and Bark, the connection is instant between them. I was sucked in and my attention held from the first to the last word, it could have gone on and on for all I cared I still would have been reading it. So good, interesting and intense with a small amount of violence and some swearing. It also contains some sexual content that is all in perspective to the story. I honestly end up reading these books so fast because I'm waiting for each one to come out, full of excitement and wonder at what the authors has created every time, then I'm upset because I finished it and have to wait again. FABULEOUS more please.

I love this author and i love this series.
From the minute that Bark was introduced i loved him. This book was a slow build up but i loved the fact that Bark didn't just want to get into bed like asap, he took time to spend with her and to get to know her, and that's what I loved. He took care of Jodi and made sure she was safe.
Jodi can't believe that someone wants to kill her and then on the same day she meets a man who wants her and wants to take care of her.
When a secret is revealed about Jodi and Bark you will be like me and know they were meant to be with each other. I can't wait for more of this series

This is probably one of the best and hottest books that I have read in a while. It was slow to build, but I completely agree with Bark and his decision to wait until everything hanging over Jodi's head was resolved. Jodi has her sweet innocence, and Bark is used to barking out orders. He has a sweet side when dealing with Jodi that I absolutely loved. These two are so good together.

This is the third book in the Lost Valkyries MC series by Esther E. Schmidt. Bark is the Vice President of the Lost Valkyries MC, they are not just a group of bikers they are also highly skilled contract killers. Only Bark and Ronin, the club’s President decide which contracts they’ll accept but their services must be paid for first. Bark is checking out a possible job at a new hair salon in town called Big Chick Beauty. Someone wants the place blown up and Bark is curious as to why and he needs a haircut so he decides to check the salon out. Jodi is the owner of the salon and she’s worked her ass off to get the place up and running. She even lives in the back because she can’t afford to rent an apartment. Every day the Sheriff makes her empty out her salon because he keeps getting bomb threats called into the station. As soon as Bark sees Jodi, well actually as soon as he sees her ass he falls head over heels for her.

I loved Jodi and Bark's story so much! Esther E. Schmidt did an amazing job on this story, but let's be honest thought, all of her works' are awesome and every time you read something new from her, you keep yourself on edge, waiting for more :)
Jodi was a sweet, with a good-heart girl but was not a doormat but also not an alpha either. It's a weird combination but it worked for her character blending with Bark's character, who's rough, direct, dominant, determined and a bit dark who enjoyed ending his designed targets... they were the perfect fit for one another <3 and when he discovers Jodi, his fox, love that nickname he gave her by the way :) which in actuality is her last name, ha ha, but he said that was her, HIS fox <3; now I'm getting off track, so Bark is now determined to end who sent the request of the hit on Jodi...
There are some secrets that are discovered are related somehow with Bark and Jodi, which for me, means they were fated to meet and get together. It seems fate has been plotting for a long time for these two to find each other and there's was also what Bark said, which is, "I knew there was someone special waiting for me". With this said, it kinda makes you forgive him and forget his not so stellar first impression when we first meet him and kinda melt with these words as Jodi's heart did as well as another part of her anatomy did as well, if you catch my drift ;)
Honestly, this was a great read that had a little bit of everything you want in it that makes it a good story to read :) It has action, amazing main characters, a good story plot, surprising twists and secrets revealed, dirty talk (who doesn't like that ;) ), some funny moments, especially with Anouk, Ronin's old lady, who's super pregnant and in nesting mode, it was funny how every time she cried, Ronin wanted to hurt someone for her being upset even if that person wasn't responsible for it in the first place, ha, ha.
The only thing I didn't like was that we didn't get to see Faya and Crane's characters (they're from the first book in the series, Crane) and how they are doing but nonetheless, this one was a great read and loved the epilogue <3

Who loves quick, romance reads of the MC variety? **raising hands** and if you add to that the author is Esther E. Schmidt…well, yah – I am all over getting my hands on anything she writes. Bark is book 3 in the Lost Valkyries MC series. This is a quick read that you won’t want to put down for anything! Esther E. Schmidt doesn’t disappoint with her stories of alpha’s that only have a heart for one woman.
Bark is another fantastic MC read from one of my favorite authors. Esther always delivers great plots that keep you totally invested from cover to cover. For being a short story, Bark is a little bit of a slow burn, but nothing Esther E. Schmidt writes is anything short of sizzling. With our hero Bark, I was beyond wowed with that mouth!! Seriously it was HOT HOT HOT!!! And Jodi was feisty and fun! I loved them both. I can’t wait to get my hands on more work by Esther – she never ceases to amaze me with the fantastic stories she delivers! Don’t wait to start reading the short stories in the Lost Valkyries MC world or anything else of Esther’s you can get your hands on!

Excuse me, but could we have another please? That's what I want to ask with in minutes of finishing my first read through of Bark and Fox's story! I'm honestly blown away ( Ha!) with how well Esther is able to combine some seriously dark stuff with a hot and steamy romance!
Bark is the VP and a man you don't want to mess with. Screw up, hurt someone he loves or just be dumb in spades and he will come for you. He lives by the code of his MC with a respect and dedication to rival most. He knows that his life needs a change he just can't figure out what the change should be. He takes a chance to check out a "job" before they take it. What he doesn't expect to find is a fox.....
Jodi has finally seen her dream come true. She's opened up her salon and looks forward to each day she spends with her clients and staff. She fought hard to get where she is, even if that means her personal life taking a back seat. Or in this case, a small room in her salon. She knows that she too is facing change in her life. She's being harassed by someone, and she's not going to go down fighting. Just as she aims to fight back she meets a man with a mean bark.....
This is a seriously HOT and dark book! Just like with all the stories in this series you find yourself falling in love with the characters and rejoicing in their duties and how they rule their world. It's a quickie (Ha again!) read that will have you asking for one more too! As always Esther teases us with a small glimpse of other characters who will appear soon in the series.

Head over heels ASSDORATION!!! Again I can not experience how much I love Esther's writing. I could not put it down once I started to read it. Esther's books keep getting better and better. Bark was a strong, dirty talking alpha male and once he saw Jodi he knew she was the one for him. He was protective of her from the start. I loved how Esther showed us how much he would protect her from everything. "Turning around, I witness a visual that's similar to two wolves circling each other. Ronin and Bark eyeing one another, ready to pounce." That right there shows you the lengths he is willing to go to protect Jodi(plus it reminds me of The Hellhounds MC!). Jodi definitely was a strong female character, who was not afraid to know what was going on and wanted to help. I loved how she handled Gust after hearing how everything went down. I liked how Bark and Jodi aka Fox, waited till everything was settled before taking their relationship to the next level. They had a connection even before they knew each other which brought them even closer. "Someone special like the stories people tell about the kind of love that's stronger than anything you know. Someone you can share anything with." "She was right," he tells me with a voice loaded with emotion. The way out lies have crossed without knowing each other is a connection that enhances our belief that this is meant to be."
It was great getting to see how Ronin and Anouk are doing as well. I cant wait for more of this series. Another 5 star Esther!!!

Esther E Schmidt delivers another hot steamy ride that is intriguing, exciting, fast paced and doesn't take you on long winding roads. It is straight ahead, pedal to the medal, full speed ahead action, and not only between the sheets! This is another well written book with a story line that attacks you quickly and latches on to you without releasing you until you've reached the end of the book. I love Esther's work because of the fast pace of her books. They never drag and have you wanting to skip passages or pages because there is not a lot of filler in the stories that aren't needed to describe the scene. There is enough description to let you know where you are, where they are and the scene is set, let the action begin!

This is the third book in the series and they can be read as standalone books. This is a short instalove book. The men of the Lost Valkyries MC know when they meet their other half right away. They are tough, tattooed, alpha males who know how to show the women they love how they feel. And will do anything to protect them. Bark is fantastic. I love him so hard. Jodi Fox has finally made her dream come true. She has opened a hair salon. They only problem is that there is another salon in town and they don’t like that she has opened hers. Now she is being harassed by the sheriff under the supposed threat of a bomb. Bark meets her when scooping out her salon for the MC and he really does need a haircut. Bark knows right away that he wants this woman and he hasn’t even seen her face. If you want to know the juicy bits you are going to have to read this book. Which I highly recommend. I love Esther and all her books. I can’t say enough about her but she is fantastic. You should read all her books. Lol.

No one writes a Hot Fast Raced Story like Esther Schmidt, and Bark is no exception. It Hard hitting action from the first chapter to the end. Be it MC business or Ole Lady business, this author doesn't mess around. It's one of the many things I love about her writing style.
As for Bark, what a wonderful storyline and the characters are just so darn lovable, even when Bark is quite literally barking out orders. The Valkyries MC are known for taking hit jobs. But only if they deem them necessary. In this case Bark is going out to canvass a possible job at hair salon. That is when he sees "her", a lady with curves in all the right places. Needless to say Bark is in lustful heaven. But what happens when he finds out that she is Jodi Fox the owner of the salon they are suppose to blow up? As for Bark, what a wonderful storyline and the characters are just so darn lovable, even when Bark is quite literally barking out orders. The Valkyries MC are known for taking hit jobs. But only if they deem them necessary. In this case Bark is going out to canvass a possible job at hair salon. That is when he sees "her", a lady with curves in all the right places. Needless to say Bark is in lustful heaven. But what happens when he finds out that she is Jodi Fox the owner of the salon they are suppose to blow up? Can he somehow save the lushes bombshell and her shop she's saved for years to open? And is the shop the only threat or is it Jodi herself?

So anyone who has read my reviews knows that I’m a massive fan of this author. I love how even though these books are a quick read of insta type love they lack in nothing you still get your hot alpha biker . Bark maybe dangerous and rough around the edges. I love his reaction when he sees Jodi for the first time. As I said he is rough around the edges but also has a hidden depth I can’t really say to much because I don’t want to ruin it for you. Jodi isn’t like all the other heroines in Esther’s books which I really enjoyed normally her female leads are strong sassy but for me Jodi was so sweet with a hint of innocence. Which for me makes the chemistry between her and bark all the more exciting. Anyway if you like a insta love short story with hot bikers then look no further than this book.

Awesome!, that's how I feel about this book! I want Bark of my own!!! He is definitely the defection of alpha male, I love this book for so many reasons 1: it only 10 charters 2: its packed full of hotness 3: its so perfectly written. 4: its inta kind of love! Sometimes as short story is just what you need! You get so engrossed in the story you feel like you know Bark and Jodi personally, you feel the attraction they have for one another right away, Bark is possessive, but loving ,kind and compassionate when it comes to his old lady, but don't anyone lay one finger on her or you will regret it. OMG these are as awesome together. I can't say enough good about this book. You are going to love it!!

Esther E. Schmidt did a fantastic job on Bark. The story was well written and had a great plot. I couldn't put this book down. Bark and Jodi were strong characters. They had in insta attraction. They were wonderful together. Their connection was strong and the chemistry was off the charts sexy. I just love a protective, obsessive and possessive Alpha and a sweet yet sassy, feisty heroine. This is a great book. I recommend reading this story and the series. You won't be disappointed, Esther E. Schmidt is an Amazing Author.

Another great quick insta love read from Esther.
Bark is checking out a job sent to the Lost Valkyries. Jodi is finally realizing her dream of opening her own salon. When a mix up happens they are thrown into each others lives. Can Bark save Jodi from the danger? I absolutely loved the tie between the two characters that they were unaware of - added a great touch. These may be short stories, but they are full stories. There is action, dirty talk and yes, even humor. And the cherry on top - an epilogue!

Bark is book 3 o the Lost Valkyries MC and yet I am still in love with this series. Each book is an insta-love short story but still has enough action, lust and sex to give you what you need to make a good story.
Bark is the VP of the Lost Valkyries and while out scouting a hit that was requested, he manages to find Jodi a fall a$$ over handlebars for her.
Jodi is not sure why she is being targeted but knows that Bark is the only one that can save her. She didn’t expect to be so happy about it though.
These two form the perfect couple and I wish we had more of them!

I really love this series of short, steamy insta-love stories!
But this one felt different in a very good way. It had a perfect mix of love and action. But what I really loved was the twist of a past connection between our main characters. So sweet and made me think there was something or someone more than fate that guided them to each other.
As always Esther Schmidt has packed a lot of story in a small amount of pages. She never disappoints!

I don't know how Esther Schmidt does it but i swear each book gets better! Bark is the alpha biker with tats and piercings who has never been in love. He knows what love is from his grandmother. Jodi is smart with a touch of sass. The attraction is immediate but the connection takes time but when they do it is 🔥🔥🔥!
This is a quick read with all the necessary parts to make you smile and start waiting for the next book!
