Don’t change. Don't fight. Don’t die. This message has been beaten into her since childhood. Legends abound with stories of werewolves. Females are rare, but becoming a Lycan wasn’t a matter of choice for Mira.
Born as a wolf and cursed with being a woman, Mira and her father struggle for her survival, peace and most of all, freedom. After the disappearance and death of her mother, they flee, in constant fear that they will be forced to join pack life and marry Mira off... or worse.
While traveling to Alaska in search of a sanctuary among the rogues of the wilderness, they are attacked, and Mira is left to fend for herself in unknown territory…
Mireya is an anomaly, the first born female werewolf, capable of changing. Kept hidden from the world by a manic werewolf father intent on spiriting them to, hopefully, a safe haven in Alaska. But things never work out the way you want them to, especially if there are hunters and mad scientists after you. This first installment ends sadly on a cliffhanger. I am ensnared by the heart wrenching events depicted in this book and I am totally captivated by the tough little heroine. Until the next book.

Mira is a female werewolf. There aren’t any female werewolves. She has been on the run with her father her whole life. Never shifting. They end up being attacked in Ulrics territory. His beta , Cole is drawn to her as she is to him. But she is kidnapped and taken to a research facility of crazy werewolves. She escapes to only die she thinks. Great read. Can’t wait to read the next book.

This book was thrilling from the start. Mireya and her father on the run because she is an anomaly. They get caught in another packs borders and all hell breaks loose. To see what this file has to go through is truly heartbreaking. Just when she thought she was safe a deranged scientist finds her and conducted horrific experiments on her. She breaks free and now I can't wait to read what happens.

The Loyal Alone by A.M. Hughes is a wonderful story that I have loved reading very much. This is book number one in this wonderful start to a brand new series writen by a brand new author for me to read. I highly recommend this story to everyone who loves reading about shifters, fantasy and paranormal romances in their stories.

I received an advance reader copy of this book and absolutely loved it.
It was a dark and gripping adventure, full of the best and worst of human nature. It leaves a reader wanting more and kept me turning the pages long after I was supposed to be in bed. A great paranormal adventure with a strong female lead that will keep you on the edge of your seat.
At the beginning the story plot gets you hooked in it. However as the story proves it just drags on too long. I finished hoping that it would improve but it was just a waste of time.
This was a new twist on the werewolf story. Mira is a female werewolf an anomaly. She has lived her whole life in hiding but all that ends one night. Who can she trust and what must she endure? Great story line with so much mystery and action thrown in that you can’t put this story down.
A great start to the series! A Female Werewolf unheard of In these packs is rescued and now the Alpha has to decide how to deal with her among his fellow pack members complaints of safety along with other threats to the pack. Excited to read the next book!!
Oh my gosh what a read. What she goes through breaks your heart. How can she get through this. I was on the edge of my seat. Hoping all will be well. Gripping and thrilling. What a ride this storyline is. I recieved a free copy and this is my honest review
An interesting story of Mira being a rare female werewolf trying to survive by hiding and constantly moving. The Loyal Alone by A.M. Hughes is a quick read filled with suspense and mystery but not much action.
