The author keeps dragging the story along and it’s getting annoying, nothing is going on enough to follow along and the little bit of issues is just that little. I doubt I’d read the next one.

OMG what a book great book writing
I love this book about Rodney Wiggins and his struggles his pain he endured thru his life. He was a foster child who o was abandoned by his parents. He picked himself up to deal with pain football became his outlet. His dream was to go to college and play professional football. His life was changed forever when he was severely injured and could no longer play the game he loved. The women he loved who pregnant with his baby walk away after a month after giving birth. Rodney Wiggins end getting in and out of trouble trying to provide for his infant son. He went to prison for 3 years for stealing. With out his Coach and his wife Alex who took him in and help him and his son. Troy broke his heart he didn't want to feel vulnerable to another woman. Then he meets Eva Vasquez his fiance and falls in love with her she carrying his child. Eva Vasquez finally meet someone who truly cared about her and her needs who was humble who has has his own insecurities but he has a great heart. I admired the fact he has dreams he wants to help the youth thru coaching and mentoring them to succeed thru education and hard work. Troy Washington has really gotten herself in a mess with a abusive relationship with a man who has a hidden agenda and wants to control her. The one she let get away and who took care of their son is who she needs most but can Rodney forgive her for abandoned him and his son to get in the limelight with fame at what cost and selfish ways. Coach (aka) Andrew Brown who believe in him to do great things left him something for him to continue his dream for starting his own football ball league. Deqavious Cruz was wrong for coming the day of coach funeral to tell him about Rodney Jr not being his son that was cold I definitely understand his angry why he reacted they way he did. After 10 years of missing in action and going on with her life he is pissed but to make matters worse he is served with papers from Deqavious to get custody of Rodney son. Troy Washington left Rodney Wiggins and their son to do her own thing. Troy Washington went thru so much to be with Abdullah McCoy. He was so controlling and disrespectful. He was abusive and a cheater and womanizer and had a habit. She finally realize Abdullah McCoy if she stayed with him anymore after find out she was pregnant. If she stayed he would kill her even when he claims he loves now she pregnant and miss home Rodney Wiggins and his son. But Rodney Wiggins has moved on and has a baby on the way he has a lot of angry and pain behind her. Hopefully he can forgive her and let her build a relationship with her son she left 10 years ago. Maurice Boyd was so disrespectful toward the mother's of his children he took Eva Vasquez and constantly cheated her. His mother treated him bad she treated him like carp their relationship wasn't this bad. He couldn't accept the fact that his son was different and he has to love him anyway. He didn't have positive influence in his life so he didn't know how to treat women. Especially the mother of his twin daughters so disrespectful. Deqavious Cruz was angry about finding out about Rodney Jr. being his son he deliberately went to coach house to tell him about Rodney Jr. Was his way of starting so drama and let him know he slept with his high school sweetheart. He was jealous of his own best friend and was really want to prove he was unfit he didn't want him raise by him he was the only father he knew. Rodney Wiggins may not have the education he had who was he to judge. To be his best friend he was very cunning and selfish who does that to your best friend. When Rodney Wiggins had lost the only father he had who does some mess like that. I also loved the respect and love he had for Eva Vasquez and how he treated her. He was also humble he appreciate her. He knew she was pregnant she would be a great mother definitely. Can't wait for book 3. Eva Vasquez was afraid of what her mom and grandmother would think of her for being pregnant with out getting married first. Best Friend Toya Was fun and down to earth she was Pedestrian. I felt Rodney Wiggins pain for not have any family are knowing where he came from. That so hurtful and not being able to tell his accomplishments. Not having parents made him feel unworthy and unloveable. He has to be tough to keep people from taking advantage of him. Eva Vasquez would be their for him regardless. Maurice Boyd needs to men up and handle his business. Spend more time with his son and accept him for himself he is still your child. He never had anyone to motivate him to be great his mother was constantly putting him down. His mother was resentful of her son father and took her angry and pain out on Maurice having him feeling bad about himself. He realized Eva Vasquez has moved on with her life. Then he had the nerve to get upset with Joy for being pregnant by someone else who treats his son better than him. Real men treat women with respect and appreciate her. Ivory Davis is getting tried of Maurice trifling sneaky self-fish tail. To be disrespectful toward your the mother's of his children. Ivory Davis wants better for kids and herself only she can change her circumstances. After so many obstacles I admired her for trying to take care of her kids. Markel needs his father love and understanding and just accept and be his father. Markel was terrified of his own father

Oh boyyyyyyyy how I'm so #TeamRodney. Him and Eva relationship is so cute to me and I love the way that they are loving on each other. This sorry excuse for a mother Troy makes me soooooooo sick to my stomach and I don't blame Rondney one bit for feeling the way he's feeling. And to his suppose to be bestfriend Deqauvious, it may be harsh for me saying this but I really hope that whatever he's keeping from his lawyer causes him not to get custody of Rodney Jr. I could already see Maurice still trying to cause problems I just hope he doesn't do anything to make Eva loss the baby she desperately wants. How in the hell did Troy think it was okay to show up on this man’s doorstep? Sis, you threw a bowl of cereal and milk at his head and then left him and your newborn baby. He raised that baby by himself for ten years only to find out that you fucked his best friend and the baby belongs to him. 😂 sis, you show up on that man porch now that he’s a millionaire and you think he wants something to do with you?

Great Read
Picked up right where the last installment left off. It was so good and I couldn't get enough and hated seeing to be continued. So full of drama, action, lies, secrets and betrayal that made this a great read. So entertaining and interesting and it flowed really good to I had finished before I realized it. So loving Rodney and Eva relationship and how they put each others needs before the other. Now Troy, Maurice and Deqavious are all delusional and up to no good. Can't wait to see how it all unfolds in PT3. A few errors but didn't take away from the story. Good job Diamond Johnson

I must say I loved the Rodney glow up!!! He is doing what he is destined to do and that is be great. Eva is giving him the unconditional love he needs and he is giving her the love that she needs. They love each other flaws and all and anybody messing with that should get beat up. Deqavious is a real lame for what he doing, he couldn't even come to that man on some real ish, he had to kick him while he was down. And Troy just really made me sick, she never once cared about what he was going through but the minute she get with a psycho she running back. I will send her right back to her mama!!! Can't wait for part 3!!

Man I’m so happy that everything is working out for Rodney. He definitely deserves it. Now I don’t know why Devavious trying to take RJ I mean I get he didn’t know about him, but he’s going about everything all wrong. I’m laughing so hard at Maurice stupid behind. He’s getting exactly what he deserves with his stalker self. Troy is another one who is meeting karma, and I can’t even feel sorry for her trifling but. Get’em definitely needs help. Im praying that nothing happens to Eva or the baby. It sucks that Coach passed away because he was a very good man to his wife and Rodney and Rj. Can’t wait to see what happens next.

Here is a GREAT ONE.... The character Rodney has gotten thru the Mud Slides of his entire life, and is shining. For Dequavious & Troy to come back and be a part of Jr's life is absolutely NO!!! Troy is getting what she deserves, not a fan of domestic violence, but she wanted success & money, those sometimes come w/ a price-tag. Coach passing was sad, but what he & his wife instilled in Rodney is EPIC. Eva, what a girl, has her own and finding her true love. Maurice is laughable... He better stop messing with his son Markel, and deal with him as he is. Looking forward to Book 3 Diamond

Why part 3 ?
I absolute love Diamond’s previous work but with this series not so much . I don’t feel a connection with any of the main characters . I hope Rodney desperately gets the help he needs or he seeks therapy. He has been through to much not to undergo some type of counseling.
Maurice and his sister wive characters/ storyline seems irrelevant and only adds unnecessary but predictable drama
I honestly think this should have been a stand alone book . Hopefully part three will be the last one.

I can't even phantom Troy having the nerves to show up on Rodney and Eva's doorstep asking Rodney for help after she left him with her son that's not even his child over ten years ago. And then he got served papers that Deqavious is seeking full custody of Rodney Jr. I can't wait to see what secrets that Deqavious holds that his mom was trying to get him to open up to his lawyer about. Troy is something else now all of a sudden she needs protection from Rodney she wasn't thinking about them 10 years ago with her selfish self. Dequavious he something else as well common sense would have told him that was his son but yet he never cared to put two and two together until his mother decided to put a bug in his ear. I hope he doesn't win because that Lil man means the world too Rodney. Troy needs to get a clue because nobody cares about her she didn't care about nobody else but herself so why should they.

This was a great read. Im glad they Rodney and eva found each other. I cant wait to find out what happens in part 3 .Hopefully Rodney get to keep his son and hr get his happy ever after because he and eva deserve that. As for Troy i hope she get her life together anf leave rodney alone and their son she did the ultimate betrayal putting another man baby on someone else and left her son and walked away.

This book was awesome from start to finish.Rodney has endured so much pain and overcome so much. Deqavious was a disloyal hater and I feel that Rodney has been and is still is the better man.Troy was selfish as hell and Get’em is her Karma. Hopefully Maurice will stay away and try to build a healthy relationship with his son. This book is very well written and I'm ready for pt3.

What True love is all about!!!
I love the fact that Rodney found someone that loves him for him!! What I dislike is how Maurice and Troy didn't realize what they had until it was too late!! I read it too fast!!! It was great! I can’t wait for the next installment. Troy has to be out her rabbit ass mind if she thinks Rodney is going to just take her back all willy nilly. Maurice is crazy and he needs help lol. I was so sad when Coach died! This was a great read!

I am In love with Rodney he is a good man. Even though he went through hell growing up he still has good morals. Rodney and Eva have a good relationship. Troy is stupid for staying with him this long and she wrong for coming back thinking everyone was going welcome her with open arms. I cannot wait to read part 3 to see how everything unfolds.

Poor Rodney, he can't get a break. My heart goes out to him in this story. What a wonderful man that bad shot happens to. I hope in the next book, he is uplifted. Whoa!
All I can say is Wow! Diamond Johnson is definitely one of the best story tellers! I mean her books capture you from the very first sentence. It doesn't drags on her straight to the point! I really hope quavious lose the custody battle and Troy ass gets hit by a lack truck or something! Lol Must read!!
