Isidore Crowe has always been ashamed of being born into the Coven of the Unseen Moon, a group of witches dedicated to destroying all fairies, especially the Wolfairy, a creature created by the union of a royal fairy and her wolf protector. Isidore never understood her Coven's hatred for fairies. But you can't pick your family.
When her father sends her off on a mission, with a deadly potion, to find the princess fairy and poison her before the coming of the Spring Fling, Isidore comes face to face with a wolf who not only takes her breath away, but could easily take her life away, if he knew her nefarious plans.
Nico Ferguson, second in line to be the Alpha in the most powerful wolf pack known on Earth, accepted his fate as the protector of his brother, his brother's wife, and their unborn child-a child so special it will change the world.
However, when Nico's girlfriend turns out to be a traitor, selling information to the Coven of the Unseen Moon, it puts his entire family, and the world in jeopardy. Determined to make things right, Nico dives deep into the investigation, only he's quickly blinded by a beautiful witch who isn't who she portrays herself to be. In order to save his family, he's going to have to put his trust in the woman sent to destroy them.

This is the second book in the Twilight Crossing series and I would recommend that you read The Blind Date first to give you an oversight of what is happening n this series as there are underlying story lines throughout

I was given a copy of this book but this is true and honest review
Spring Fling is the second book in the Twilight Crossing Series and a crossover with the Paranormal Dating Agency. Isidore is a witch, a warrior, a defender of those she loves, a traitor to her father’s beliefs, and on a mission to find her mate and save her sister. Nico is a detective for the Twilight Crossing, protector of his family and the changes they are bringing, and trying to fight fate with his true mate. As her true past comes to light, Isidore and Nico must fight to defend and save those they love, and hopefully survive her father.
Wow, this book just jumps right in and sucked me into this magical world full of wolves, fairies, prophesies, danger, and love. Isidore’s past was haunting, but I love how much fight she had to not only save herself, but also her sister! So much strength and loyalty! Nico was fighting with all of his powers, hoping to not fall in love with a possible threat to his family, but together they were unstoppable! I really enjoyed this book and even though this could stand alone, I highly suggest starting with the first book to fully understand everything that happens. I love Ms. Talty’s work and can’t wait to read what will happen next in this series!
Spring Fling is book 2 in the Twilight Crossing series. Books have to be read in order to fully understand the series so Blind Date, book 1 should be read first.
Nico Ferguson is now the protector of his brother Chaz' family until his twins, the Wolfairies are born. He has been called in to see The Aston Smith Agency owner/seer Eliza Ashton about one of her visions involving his match in the paranormal world.
At 21, Isidore Crowe, warrior member of the Coven of the Unseen Moon has been biding her time living with her father as his punching bag until she can leave the coven she hates and get her sister Coral to safety. Coral’s Branding Ceremony as a seer is days away so she doesn’t have much longer to wait.
Meanwhile, her father has discovered Isidore went to see Eliza and has been matched up with Nico. Being a wicked warlock, he has ordered Isidore to kill the Wolfairies or he will harm her sister. Nico is aware Isidore is a witch and is already suspicious of her intentions to harm the twins.
As the fairy dust settles, duty bound Nico and Isidore have to get through their issues and find a way to work together for the future generations of his brother’s family and find a way to save Coral as well.
This is book 2 in the Twilight Crossing books and I would definitely read the first book before reading this one so you understand the main story arc that is happening. This one is about Isidore Crowe and Nico Ferguson. Isidore was born into a group of witches that are dedicated to not only destroy all the fairies but especially the wolfairies. Her father sends her on a mission in order to poison the faerie princess before the Spring Fling can happen And since she doesn't have a choice but to go, she tries to find a way out by finding a mate. Nico is second in line to the alpha but after seeing how his brother and his mate are he asks for help to find his own mate. What he doesn't realize is exactly who his mate is or whether he can truly trust her.
I absolutely loved these 2!! Nico is the typical bad boy we all love and I definitely loved him! Isidore is a kick butt warrior just trying to get out of bad situation, and I love her attitude!! These two perfectly match and kept me wanting more when it ended! Especially with how they both seem to accept each other as they are and how they both step up and do what need's to be done regardless of what may happen to themselves.
**I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this title**
Spring Fling is the second book in the Twilight Crossing series. While I couldn’t get into the first this series, I found myself sucked right into this one. Nico and Isidore’s romance isn’t your typical man and woman looking for a mate.
Isidore is looking for a man who is duty bound to help protect her and her sister to escape their coven and from under her father’s iron fist.
Nico has a new role in his pack as his niece and nephew’s protector, to help ensure they survive to be brought into the world and ensure a prophesy comes to pass. But watching the love his alpha and brother and his mate has, makes Nico aware of the longing he has for a mate of his own.
This was ten times better than the first book in this series. I may try and go back and try to read the first one again, just so I can learn more about how Daphne went from being a normal human to being encompassed in the paranormal world and queen of fairies.
A delightful, with a hint of danger, sequel to “The Blind Date: The Legend of the Princess & the Wolf”. We are back again with the Ferguson family as they face another threat, this time to Chaz, his wife Daphne and their unborn twins. Nico Ferguson is the brother and protector for Chaz and his family and realizes that a threat might be coming from Isadore Crowe, a witch. She was trained as a warrior, but will she be the one to try to kill Chaz and his family? Isadore has no intention of killing Chaz, but must find a way to leave her coven, save her younger sister as well as the fairies who are trapped. When she learns that her biological father is one of the trapped fairies, she must work with Nico to handle all of this before the Spring Fling, a time when the twins will be born. A nice visit back to the world of fairies, werewolves and witches. I received an advance review copy at no cost and without obligation from the author. (by paytonpuppy)
Noah Ferguson has an important job in his pack, he is the protector of his brother the Alpha, his sister-in-law the Princess and her unborn children. The legend of the Princess and the Wolf has come to pass but there is more to it. In keeping with what he knows he contacts Eliza for a match.
Isidore Crowe is supposed to do the unthinkable, yet she doesn't believe she has a choice in it. Her Coven of the Unseen Moon is a corrupt and evil one. Her father uses the one thing he can hold over her to keep her under his control and true to the path, her sister.
When Nico and Isidore meet, he knows what her intent is, but somehow they both need to change the path. Isidore doesn't want to be part of the Unseen Moon anymore but she needs to get her sister out of there first. They are also mates and that proves to be more than a little interesting.
A fast-paced and intriguing tale with lots of twists and plenty of sizzle.
This is the second book in the New Dawn series. This story picks up where Blind Date left off. Highly recommend you read Blind Date first before reading this story. With Daphne expecting twin wolfairies, Chaz’ brother Nico is charged with being the protector of her babies. There is a coven of witches that are determined to kill the twins, and Isidore is commanded to complete this mission. But Isidore has other things on her agenda. When she goes to the Ashton Smith Dating Agency and gets matched with Nico, both are equally surprised. Once again sparks are immediate, and they are drawn together not only for each other, but to help protect the twins until they are born on the Spring Fling. Loved all the twists and turns as the story evolved. Absolutely cannot wait to read the next in this series.
This book kept you on the edge of your seat from the very first page to the very last page where you will gasp! I just feel in love with this story and it pulled me in so hard I couldn't put it down. Thru all the pages you felt like you were right there with them, feeling everything that they went through.
Page by page you find secrets and surprises around every corner. The surprises get better and better, all the way to the end. You will be shocked and surprised with each revealed secret.
I know you will enjoy this as much as I do, allow the characters to run thru you and you will be right there in the story with them.
This is the second book in the series and it's Nico and Isidore's story. We met Nico in The Blind Date. He is Chaz's brother. Isidore is a witch and a warrior who is forced on a mission by her father to destroy Nico's brother's wife and their unborn babies. Isidore and Nico get together thru the matchmaker and find an attraction to each other. They decide to join forces to protect his family and try to save her sister Coral. This book has action, intrigue, surprises, romance, drama and secrets are revealed. You should read book 1 The Blind Date to see where things are going. Can't wait to get Coral's and Drew's story.
Spring Fling is the second book in the 'A New Dawn' Series by Jen Talty. Reading this series was like stepping into a world where romance, suspense, and a touch of the paranormal all danced together in perfect rhythm. With plenty of heart-thumping tension, sizzling chemistry, and characters you can’t help but root for, Ms. Talty definitely has a knack for weaving interesting plots. If you love small-town charm with big-time stakes - and a splash of supernatural intrigue, then this series will keep you hooked. It’s binge-worthy, heartfelt, and just the right amount of addictive. Happy Reading…
If you've read, or even re-read Jen Talty's PDA "The Blind Date", it will make this an even more enjoyable experience. Chaz's brother Nico, and his Gerri Wilder match, Isidore are the focus of this story. The book blurb covers a lot of the story, but add in crazed witches, rainbows shooting out of the pregnant belly of Chaz's wife, prophecies and more, and you have a wild mash-up of shifters and...every other supe out there. And some are WAY out there! Given all that,it is still a fun way to pass a couple of hours. For now... 😉
The protector versus the warrior. Since the dawning of the prophecy, these two have been trained to oppose one another. But what would happen if they joined forces instead? I loved seeing all the angst created by Nico and Isadore, this pair that’s supposed to be enemies, turning out to be fated mates. They also get several extra measures of family drama in the process, with distrustful “in-laws” on both sides. I can’t wait until the prophecy is finished with them and they can get a final happy ever after. I received a complimentary copy of this book from the author.
This is the second book in the New Dawn Series. This story is about Nico, who is brother to Chaz and is protector to Chaz, his wife Daphne, and her unborn wolfairy twins. These twins are so special that if he can keep them alive for a month after birth, will change the world. When Nico finds his mate is a witch and a warrior from the Coven of the Unseen Moon, he knows that his first priority is Chaz’s family, even if he has to die in the process. Will he be able to put his trust in Isidore Crowe and believe that she has plans of her own which include protecting her sister at all cost?
I voluntarily reviewed this book after receiving a free copy. Another mating is in the works that seems to be wrong but is very much needed. Nico is the protector for Chaz and Daphne's unborn twins. Isidore is a warrior witch that is supposed to kill Daphne and the twins. However there is more than is visible and Isidore doesn't believe her father's teachings and soon learns welcome news. Isidore is a perfect match for Nico and is the key to the safe birth of the twins at the Spring Fling. I liked the truth that is revealed about Isidore and her sister Coral.
Loved the story. When I savored Crow is tasked to do the unthinkable. She is unsure how she will do it. But for the sake of her younger sister she will have to think of something and quick. Nico Ferguson who is tasked with the important job of taking care of his brother and his sister in law. The new king and Queen. He never thought the threat to them would be the one who he is fated to mate with. I honestly wasn't sure this was for me I was sooooo wrong great read gonna buy book 3 😁
Can you say cliffhanger.... I love and hate them. Grrr now I have to wait..... Loved the book. Fated mates but enemies. Love how everything kinda ended up good. Now I'm just stuck waiting. Book was written well and drew you in completely. Fell in love with the characters and the back story. Can't wait to read more.
Read as part of the PDA world through KU. Enjoyable and pleasant read. Quite like how interesting and strange a character Isidore was. The twist with Isidore and her sister Coral’s heritage was wonderful. I did love the honesty between Nico and Isidore right from the start, which is a refreshing and pleasant change from the usual withholding information so many authors do.
This book is second in series, would recommend reading in order. Nico and Isidore have to figure out who and what she is to save the wolfairies and the royal fairies that are trapped. This book has love, intrigue, black magic and fairy dust, oh and a warroir fairt with an attitude. Recommend to all readers.
An exciting cat and mouse type shifter romance. Survival is the key for these fated mates - for their loved ones and their family lines. Full of witty banter, conflicting and intertwined interests and issues of loyalty. A most enjoyable read about a very diverse family.
This story was incredible, outstanding, exciting and just plain fantastic!!!😄. I really enjoy reading 📚paranormal stories like this series. Jen is an amazing writer and fantastic storyteller 😄😊!!.
Isidore and Nico were two !it's clients of Gerrie Wilder. She was a witch warrior looking for a protector and he was a protector seeking a mate. Bit as soon as she was with Nico she started changing And boy what a change!
Isadore has a huge secret. Nico has a girlfriend. These two will collide for a fight for life for the fairies and a relationship doomed from the start. An interesting second story of the series. Kept me guessing how it would turn out in the end. Hoping there will be a book 3 in the series.
I am okay with short reads. They make good bedtime reading. Except when they turn into serialized stories. Fortunately I can go directly to the next book, but there goes sleeping.
She creates amazing characters you love and want the best for. They always have problems to solve and overcome. The love they feel is overwhelming and endless. You can't stop reading till it ends!
Very original plot, good characters, could have used a better editor. The missing words, wrong words and incorrect verb tenses really drew me out of the story.
