Absolutely adore this book very much, it has everything you can want to prove that love is most definitely the best possible medicine you can have.

People can get through so much even tragedy and find joy again with the magic that comes from love, in this book there's most definitely a lot that needs love without giving spoilers illnot tease you but I will say for any who love reading that from heartbreak you can find joy, and that sometimes miracles can happen with the magic of love then you will love this book. Louisa definitely does not disappoint.

Also very beautiful dedication. Thank you for writing this beautiful storyxxxx

Oh this is just such a beautiful moving story, a story of love and hope and of loss and what joy two people can share when they are open and honest about their feelings, this brings together two single parents both have been hurt by such loss but Dr Bethan Munroe has a heart so big not just for her daughter but for her patients and her new boss Dr Cameron Brodie, take yourself of to Scotland for this emotional story that will leave you feeling so good.

Bethan has been through so much losing her husband Ashley to cancer she has taken time of to be mother to her daughter but it is now time to go back to work and in doing so she moves back to her birth town and her Nanna and here she takes a job with Dr Cameron Brodie single Dad and a man with secrets and Bethan feels a spark at their first meeting, will this take her to a happy future with love again?

Cameron has been a single dad since his daughter’s birth and now he has problems himself, deciding that he will take some time off work to spend with his daughter he needs to hire a Doctor to take over the practise but he keeps a few things to himself and when he meets Bethan she is the one for the job but will she get close to him? it is the last thing that he wants but it may be just what he needs.

This one is heartfelt and emotional but the glimmer of hope and light as well as love that enters their lives as they get to know each other and help each other will have you turning the pages to see how things work out. Bethan would have to be one of the most loving and caring heroines that I have met in a long time her strength and courage shine through and Cameron what can I say he did everything he could to not hurt anyone to see them fall in love so beautifully did bring a smile to my face. I highly recommend this story, MS Heaton has made this reader very happy with the love and caring words that flow on these pages thank you.

Saving the Single Dad Doc was the first Louisa Heaton book which I read & it remains one of my favourites, along with A Mistletoe Marriage Reunion. It's a beautiful, moving story with a strong, empathetic heroine who is determined to fight for the man she loves.

Dr Bethan Munroe, after the death three years ago of her parents & husband, has just moved, with her five year old daughter Grace, to live with her grandmother Mhairi in the village where she was born on the west coast of Scotland. Now that Grace is starting school, Bethan is eager to return to work. She begins work with the village GP, Cameron Brodie, & is startled when he informs her that, as soon as she is comfortable in the practice, he will be taking a year's sabbatical in order to spend time with his five year old daughter Rosie, whose mother died in childbirth. Bethan & Cameron are instantly attracted but what he's told only his family is that he's dying of brain cancer. He's reluctant to get involved with a woman who has already lost her husband to cancer but they are irresistibly drawn to each other.

The author paints a believable picture of life in a small medical practice, both the joys & difficulties (and some of the patients, including Cameron's curmudgeonly grandfather, are very difficult). There are also touching scenes of family life & how cancer affects lives.

Having someone take over from him at the town medical practice is the best option for Dr Cameron Brodie, especially if he wants to spend time with his daughter before his illness takes his life. Luckily, Dr. Bethan Moore has returned to her hometown and is looking for work. She’s the perfect solution and not just for the practice, but for him too. Will Cameron and Bethan fight for their happy ever after or will Bethan lose another person she loves? Read More
