Her soul now merged with both the Fire and Water Dragons, Marin has settled into her role as Primordya’s High Queen and Dragon Guardian. As her powers continue to strengthen and grow, she grows ever closer to achieving her epic destiny.
But all is not well…
In the aftermath of her being forced off the High Throne she stole from Marin’s father, Nahga’s personal mission against Marin has now more than ever become one of vengeance, and she seeks to exact it at every turn. Working from the shadows as she devises her sinister plots, the dark elven Queen’s malice knows no bounds.
With the powers of the Air Dragon now awakening within her, Marin must now journey to the frozen lands of Aeris in order to be tested by the ancient creature. Will she succeed?
Or will the land of Primordya be torn asunder by Nahga’s machinations?
Fantasy has always been a large part of my life. From the first moment my father read The Hobbit aloud to me as a child, I was completely hooked on the genre. Every book I've read since then, every video game I've played, and every film I've watched has only increased my love and fascination for the world of dragons, elves and other mystical beings. It should therefore come as no surprise that I would want to contribute to that vast world.
Dragon Guardian: Fire marks the beginning of my Dragon Guardian series, in which I bring to life a world and characters that have been growing within my imagination for fourteen years. This series truly is my life's work.
When I'm not writing, I can be found spending time with my husband and daughter in Minnesota where we make our home with our two very spoiled cats.
First off this book is epic. Just like books 1 & 2, it leaves you wanting more. Marin in finding herself with new powers of the Air Dragon now that her soul is connected to the Fire and Water dragon. At times this book is nail biting and very emotional. You find yourself cheering Marin on and feeling her emotions as your own.
Then lets not forget Nahga, she is a nasty vengeful lass. Who wants nothing more than to make Marin's life a living hell. She really is out for revenge. Does she get it. Keep reading and find out.
You will truly love these books. Highly recommended
If I thought that book 2 was an emotional roller coaster, I hadn't seen anything yet! Action blends seamlessly with angst in this book in ways that can only speak to the author truly finding her stride as she continues on in the writing of her epic. Again, and again, you connect with both established and new characters; and Nahga, the antagonist, reveals herself to be far more twisted an evil than she was in the first two books.
Seriously...DAMN!
Be forewarned...Ay'throl will utterly break your heart! 😭But the sassiness of the three dragons will more than make up for it!
This book is by far the best in the series, and I can't wait until the 4th!
What can I say about this series except it keeps getting better and better. Nagha is truly a villain you love to date. And I'm loving all these new characters that are being added in along with their motivations and backstories. Can't wait to see how it all plays out in the finale and how it all gets wrapped up. For those who are new to the Primordyian series, it will not disappoint.
