He's going to show me things I've never seen before.

My first vacation abroad and I'm so excited.
I've booked a tour guide to make sure I see everything.
I didn't know he was a Dom until he picked me up.
I didn't even know what the word meant until he showed me.
He's a smoking hot alpha male who will do whatever it takes to get me into bed.
I'm innocent, vulnerable, and five thousand miles from home.
But I'm a good girl. I can behave. I can ignore those rock hard abs and that smile that makes my panties melt away.
So how come I've ended up tied to a four poster bed begging him to let me go?
How did this good girl on vacation become a sub on a very bad trip?

Bad Trip is my first book by Emma York and definitely not my last. This was a sweet sexy and yummy romance, with just the right amount of heat to melt the pages.

Rachel’s parents are trying to marry Rachel to gentlemen name Ian; who is a wealthy man. They need Rachel to marry Ian so he can take care of her parent’s debt. Of course, Rachel doesn’t want to marry Ian because she wants to marry for love; so she is taking a trip to London in do something for herself for a change. On her first night, she crashes a party where she runs into Greg. Greg sees Rachel as a challenge at first because she said no to him; he will do anything to get her in his bed even be her tour guide.

Greg and Rachel were great characters and they balanced each other perfectly. Loved how Greg gave Rachel the confidence stand up for herself against her parents. This was an enjoyable book and looking forward to Emma’s other books.

I read this book an ARC for an honest review. I throughly enjoyed this book from start to finish!! Emma York is one of my favorite authors.
Rachel is a nineteen year old young woman who stills lives at home with her parents. They are severely in debt. They live beyond their means and feel that the answer to all of their financial problems is to marry Rachel off to Ian, a wealthy man. Rachel is completely against marry for money and not love. As an attempt to convince her to cancel her dream trip to Europe to see the sites of the Bronte sister's and other literary legends they spend all of their money on a huge party. Rachel proclaims that she will not marry for money and that she will still be leaving the next day for her dream vacation. Her mother is furious.
Rachel arrives in England at midnight and after settling in she decides to walk over to the parsonage where the Bronte sisters lived. As she gets close she sees light inside and is even more curious. When she speaks to the man at the door she realizes it is some sort of party that is invite only. Disappointed but also curious she walks around to the back and sees a server on a smoke break. Just her luck the server needs help carrying some crates. As she enters the party and walks passed two gentlemen one of them, Greg Osbourne, stops her with some very inappropriate questions and requests. Greg has rented out the parsonage for the purpose of finding a virgin to show the night of her life. Rachel cannot believe the nerve of this man and his brazen words and grabby hands. She leaves at once. Greg cannot get this young woman out of his head and as she leaves he calls his staff to find out all the info they can on her. When he receives the call he decides at that moment that he will be cancelling her tour guide for the trip and will be going in his place. He can't stop thinking of her. His plan is to make her want him instead of making her submit. Will his plan work? Will Rachel allow Greg to take her virginity and introduce her to bdsm?
I loved the story line and characters in this book. I enjoyed the steamy moments and romance. Another great book from Emma York!!

I liked it because of the concept : a romantic virgin girl who believe in love, (and sweet love like in 19 century british literature) but she discovers she’s more a BDSM girl. The second part of the story is better than the first part because the characters seem to step back from what happened, mainly the female’s character. There’s an ironic part when she compares what she’s living (which would be real, with maybe no great end), to a romance, which would be fictionnal and in which she could have a happy ending. So the story is good with quite some steamy sex scenes.
Rachel wants to escapes her family and goes on a trip, in Britain on her favorites author’s road, to not marry the man her parents want her to. When she arrives, she sneacks in a party, in a touristic place, where there’s a masquerade ball. She meet a man, but their encounter is not romantical at all because he’s a complete jerk who is just searching for a virgin for his birthday.
That’s the part that I don’t really like because I didn’t understand him, his motivations after this firts meeting : He turns from pervert to being in love. So the first part of the story would have needed more explanations for Greg’s feelings because they seem to come from nowhere. (except a compare between romance and the man's behavior in reality).
But the second part is better : the relation between the characters, their problems, their feelings are well described, so I appreciated it more.

Romance💕 in BDSM Major🎶🎹

Rachel's parents are trying to marry her off to Ian, a young man from a wealthy family, in an arranged marriage. If she marries him, her parents will get out of debt.

Rachel👩💋 has no intention of marrying Ian, in fact she's going to England on vacation! She is going to visit all the places in the Bronte 📚books she loves💕 so much.

Mr. Wanton British Womanizer, otherwise known as Greg Osborne🐺🍆🌋👋, is a billionaire Dom, who has very specific demands for his ideal playmate. She must be beautiful, willing, and virgin, and Rachel👩💋 is a 19 year old beautiful virgin ✔. He just needs to make her willing!

When she shows up and crashes his private BDSM👋👋 birthday masquerade🎭 party at the parsonage in the Bronte book, he gets her name and decides to take her on his own very personal Bronte📑 tour, with her at his mercy.

All The way along the tour, an incognito Greg🐺🍆🌋👋 will be priming her for his ultimate seduction of binding her, spanking👋 her, and taking🍆🌋 her! Greg🐺🍆🌋👋 is a well known wealthy womanizer, but something about Rachel👩💋 is making him crazy about her!

ARC Received from The author for a Voluntary and Honest Review. Thank you, Ms York.
I also got the book with KU.

I loved this silly, crazy book📑! Rachel👩💋 is naive enough for Greg🐺🍆🌋👋 to fool her about him being her tour guide. She is so infatuated with her dream tour and Greg, she's having a blast! This is definitely an Adult XXX Romance. Recommend.

Rachel has overbearing parents who are trying to browbeat her into marrying a sleazy, rich man who will save their financial asses. Thank God Rachel's not having it, and decides instead to take a vacation to England to visit some of her favorite historical sights, sights that are all important in her favorite classic romantic literature. It's while on this vacation she meets a masked man named Greg, a self-important rich douche who's throwing a birthday party where he can find a virgin to celebrate with. She rejects him and gets thrown out. But, she made an impression on Greg, and he stalks her social media to find out who she is and where she's planning on going, then shows up and impersonates her tour guide, then proceeds to give her more than a tour. Yeah, the setup is pretty bad, Greg is pretty bad, but he eventually grew on me. It wasn't until the end when he heroically saved Rachel from the sleazebag her parents were trying to marry her off to, though, that I finally decided I might like him.

I didn't really connect with Bad Trip or its characters, but I did like the fact that Rachel stood up for herself to her parents and even to Greg and I thought their relationship was kind of sweet, aside from the fact that he was lying to her the entire time. It's always nice to see a playboy get brought to his knees by love, so I can give this a pass where I might have been tempted to give it a lower rating.

Emma York has written another dark romance that's an awesome love story.

I loved this book from beginning to end. It is well written and I loved its story line.

Rachel is trying to escape her controlling parents that are trying to get her to marry for money to get them out of the financial mess they have made of their lives. She has a European trip planned to fill some important things on her bucket list.
On her first night there she decided to visit the parsonage where Patrick Bronte had been priest and discovered it was not closed as she had expected but instead had a private party in full swing. Having been turned away at the front door she walked around trying to see in a window and ended up at the back entrance and was able to sneak in with a server that had come out to haul some party supplies in. As she was walking around inside pretending to be a server she was approached by Greg Osborne.

As Greg decided he simply had to have Rachel for his own and had the means to find out whatever he wanted, he showed up the next morning pretending to be her tour guide.

This book was an awesome love story but if you want to find out what takes place between Rachel and Greg on the way to their HEA, you should grab yourself a copy.

I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary ARC of this book and recommend it if you like a steamy dark romance.

Bad Trip by Emma York a five-star read that is hot and funny. This book will leave you with wanting to go to Bronte country and follow in the footsteps of Rachel as she goes on her first vacation abroad. At first like me you may despise Greg but soon he will warm the cockles of your heart as well as other body parts. Emma York was a new writer to me, but I will be going back over her back catalogue and reading them all. This book was that good, I have been lucky and read some amazing books recently but this one blew me away I read it in one sitting, starting it before bed and then staying up till nearly 3am as I couldn’t put it down. Both Greg and Rachel have different stories but they each have a good depth to them making them believable characters that you get behind. Hoping that they don’t get caught when you hear the door knob turning in a place they shouldn’t be. If you are after a hot and sweet read with some funny thrown in for good measure then this is the book for you.

Rachel escapes on a European vacation. She's running from her over bearing parents and an arranged marriage. Still a virgin and naive, Europe changes her life forever. She meets an Alpha man, Greg who's really a jerk in the beginning - but he grows on you. He's a billionaire that she meets at a party she crashes. She refuses his sex, but he's persistent. Finally he exposes her to a world she had no clue about., BDSM. This is a pretty intense story with some dark and steamy scenes. This was a good book with complex characters that you will grow to like. I read a readers copy and voluntarily chose to write a review. No spoiler here, does she have a happy ending or does she go back to her boring and controlled life back home?

This BDSM romance is sexy and steamy. The plot is fun and cute. Rachel is an inexperienced virgin, that takes off to Europe to escape her controlling parents and an arranged marriage. Once there she meets Greg, who is a billionaire. Greg really starts out as a jerk but he does get better as the story moves along. It was very enjoyable and entertaining to witness Rachel's sexual awakening, from innocent to learning about and accepting that she enjoyed BDSM. Great chemistry, well written story, and strong emotions, help create a very good read. I'm posting a completely, honest, voluntary review after reading this book.

Rachel is a reserved gal. She loves literature, obeying her parents, is more the reading type gal. Greg is opposite. He's a man whore, but is looking for a virgin. Rachel books a trip to Europe and hires a tour guide. Money is no issue to Greg and whatever Greg wants, he gets. He ends up figuring out her life from her social media. He somehow finagles his way to being her tour guide. Sexually opposite of her. He is dominate and super experienced. She is someone he never thought would change his world. But anyway....I don't want to give too much away because you have to read it. It was a good read. Quick and definitely kept me interested!

Bad Trip by Emma York is a short but funny, sexy, sizzling, addictive and kinky read , definitely one of those books once you start reading you can't put down, and I couldn't be more pleased with this original story line and the characters of Rachel and Greg , though he was way too arrogant in the beginning ! Beautiful written , I also loved the fact the author took us in this hot and kinky story on a very interesting trip in "Bronte's world ". Thanks Ms York , that was very unique indeed .

Taking a trip to get away from her overbearing parents and a setup engagement, Rachel finds herself in the middle of a connection she believes with her tour guide. But Greg is much more than that, he is a billionaire that normally gets his way. Will Greg love her and leave her when her vacation is over? Or will he finally find a woman who he can spend the rest of his life with? This quick, sexy story is filled with great characters and a storyline that is truly enjoyable.

Rachel was on vacation running from her parents and what they wanted her to do. Greg was a playboy looking for his next hook up. What happens when they both meet was fun to read. The story between them was filled with instant attraction and they both had to dig deep to realize who they wanted to be to have their HEA. I enjoyed it.

This is a really good book that I thoroughly enjoyed. The story is well written. The characters are believable and draw out immediate reactions as you read. From the first pages you are sucked into Rachel's very first solo vacation abroad. As she steps out of her comfort zone and goes against her parents' wishes, Rachel is led to the places of her literary heroes by Greg. Her vacation becomes an awakening for both of them much to their surprise.

It may start as a bad trip but it ends up being the best beyond Rachel's 'great expectations.'

This was a fast, flirty read. Rachel young and inexperienced on a literary journey trip. Greg, a rich man on the prowl for his next virgin. How can one chance meeting alter the course of both of their lives and set them on a path for lasting happiness? I enjoyed this story and it inforces the belief that some people are meant to meet and destiny will find thier missing half.

An interesting premise for a story of a girl fulfilling her bucket list and escaping her controlling, manipulative parents.
If you like insta-love, and hot, kinky sex this is the story for you.

Rachel is on her dream vacation to tour all her favorite English literary sites. Her first night there, upon checking out the area she crashes a party where the attendees are wearing masks. A man tries to take her upstairs for sex and she refuses.

This starts the wheels in motion. The man she refused happens to be super wealthy and doesn’t like to be told no.

Greg decides he’s going after her. So in an outlandish plan he fires her tour guide and takes his place.

The story is like a naughty, modern fairytale.

This was a very captivating story and one I enjoyed reading. No matter how domineering Rachel’s parents are, when it comes to marrying, Rachel has very strong views; it would always be for love, not money. Greg is a billionaire and love is the ultimate turn off as far as he is concerned, until he meets Rachel. When Rachel says no to Greg, it leads the two of them on a journey of self-discovery. This is a book I would have no hesitation in recommending.

Rachel is young, but naïve. Up until now, Rachel’s mother has always made her succumb to her every whim, but the idea of marrying Ian, a man she doesn’t love, is unacceptable. Rachel has never stood up to her mother like this before; anything else and she would have backed down, but marriage was for life and she wants it to be with someone she loves. What Rachel doesn’t realise is that her parents have already made a deal with Ian. Money in lieu of a personality wasn’t enough for Rachel; she wants a brooding hero with ominous secrets to sweep her off her feet. Rachel had spent her entire life pleasing her mother, but she is determined not to give up her vacation; she had saved for months to buy her ticket so that she could tour her favorite English literary sites. For 2-weeks, Rachel would be in England visiting all the places she has dreamed about since she was little; her one concession to her parents was the use of a tour guide, but the Parsonage at Haworth would be a place she would visit on her own. Greg was having a private birthday party at the Parsonage; the place wasn’t supposed to be available for private hire, but with his kind of money nothing was an obstacle. Rachel sneaks into the Parsonage under a pretense and then catches Greg’s eye. Even though love is the ultimate turn off as far as Greg is concerned, there is just something about Rachel; he is intrigued and wants to know why. Greg’s mind is elsewhere, thinking about nineteenth century literature and the woman who loves it enough to travel halfway across the world for it; he decides to take the place of Rachel’s tour guide, taking her to some of the most romantic places in the country. As time goes by, Rachel starts to feel connected to Greg in a way she cannot explain; she is terrified, not of him, but of her own feelings, of how intense they have become. Something about Greg made all her reservations seem insignificant; but is he having a vacation fling with her, the sort of thing he would do on every tour? Matters come to a head when Rachel’s parents and Ian come for a visit. Overnight Rachel has become a woman who is prepared to stand up for herself, but how will her parents react when she tells them she has feelings for her tour guide. When Rachel is given an ultimatum, what will she do? Greg has a sudden understanding of why Rachel has been so insecure and indecisive; she has not been allowed to make a decision for herself all her life. Greg has lied to Rachel, but how will she react when he confesses who he really is and why is Greg hiding one more lie from her? A copy of this book was provided to me with no requirements for a review. I voluntarily read this book and my comments here are my honest opinion.

A bad trip that changes everything...

At 19, Rachel Murphy is ready to live her life, starting with a trip to England she planned with her own money. Her parents, though, have other plans for her. The night before her travel they throw a party and try to guilt her into marrying a man they’ve chosen. Of course, married to a millionaire would benefit them financially. And though she’s been a dutiful daughter in the past, Rachel is done being their puppet.

Her first night in England, she stumbles into a private party held at a parsonage. The kinky and debauched scene she witnesses awakens a craving deep within her. Romantic at heart, Rachel’s dreamt of a brooding, dominant hero who would sweep her off her feet and make her his submissive. What would it be like to be taken without being asked?

Greg Osbourne is arrogant, bored and filthy rich. He’s usually amused when he can spy the wide-eyed looks from virgins watching the depravity at his costumed birthday parties. When Rachel steals into the party, Greg knows the truth from her reaction. He is instantly intrigued by Rachel when she rejects his rude offering. Greg decides he needs to learn more about the brash American woman so he decides to overtake her trip by posing as her tour guide.

This is where the plot takes off. Greg dishes out a lot of money making it appear the tour company includes all the extras. Though Greg plays at seduction, things change for him while spending time with Rachel. He never expected to lose his heart to her. And Rachel learns from Greg a new way of life as he awakens the true submissive within Rachel. Their journey is plenty steamy and adventurous.

Ms. York’s writing style, quick pacing, and memorable characters made Bad Trip such an enjoyable read. Includes light kinky elements. I received and voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book.

Rachel is a 19 years old virgin that decided to go on vacation so she can forget the fact that her parents want her to marry Ian, in an arrange situation she's not comfortable with. She goes to the UK to visit the places featured in her favorite Bronte novels.

Greg is a Dom that gets what he wants and when he gets his sights on Rachel he knows deep in his gut that he has to have her. He purposely tricks her into believing he's just her travel guide and prepares her for him along the way.

I like the plot of the story, the characters and the way the story was delivered to the reader through the pages. The book is not long for me, a little over 100 pages and it was quick to finish.

When it comes to the BDSM aspects of it, I can say it was well done for a fiction romance novel and the length the author had to show all she wanted to. I end up pretty satisfied and happy when the book was over because I felt it was a full cycle and nothing was left hanging.

I would definitively recommend this and other books by Emma York because the story was easy to enjoy, steamy and took me away from reality for a little while.

This is the kind of book that has a little something for everyone.

For the literary romantic in me, I thoroughly enjoyed Rachel’s passion for the literary classics and her goal to tour all her favourite sites from her beloved books. Her desire to pursue her own authentic life, regardless of the parental pressures placed upon her with an arranged marriage, is what adds to her complexity. She’s young, but determined and when she embarks on this trip of a lifetime, she’s open to all and any adventures coming her way.

The greatest being Greg, a self-proclaimed playboy who has a fascination with virgins, who not only brings out the vixen in her, but affords her opportunities to fulfill all her heart’s desires. Little does she know that he has been harbouring a secret and by the time it’s exposed, chaos ensues and the book takes on a whole new level of action and adventure.

This book has it all…love, lust, humour and hot sex. It’s the story of a surprise love between a man and a woman who grow in each other’s presence through great experiences and adventures.

Thank you Emma!

*****I read this ARC to give an honest review***** A really enjoyable read! Rachel's parents want to pimp her out by marrying her to Ian a rich, greasy slob that she doesn't love. She has always done everything asked of her by her parents. Mainly her mother, the father just goes along with whatever she says. But now that Rachel is nineteen, she has decided to do something for herself and that is to take a trip to England. She has saved her money and she is NOT going to change her mind. Her parents have spent the last of their money for a party to give Ian the impression that they are well off, but they are broke.Rachel meets a man at a party she has crashed and he is rude to her as he propositions her and latches on to her wrist telling her to go and disrobe and wait for him upstairs. She tells him no and to take his hands off of her. He has never been refused before. He loves to deflower virgins and then leave them. Rachel appeals to him, he falls for her and since when she met him, he wore a mask she isn't positive that he is the same man who was rude to her when he shows up to be her tour guide through the country.

A good quick read about a young woman, Rachel, who the night before she goes to Europe is guilted into a going away party. Her parents want her to marry a rich young man so they can get out of debt and invite him to it, pushing her towards him. Rachel is against it and stands up for herself going on the trip by herself. Once there she sneaks into a masquerade party only to be thrown out by the host after she refuses him. Greg is intrigued as no one has ever said no to him, so he finds out all about her and ends up posing as her tour guide the next day. She has no idea who he really is and just wants to enjoy the tour, he wants only one thing from her and he’ll do anything to get it.
An enjoyable read with steamy scenes, a pompous and crass billionaire and an innocent sweet young woman. At first I didn’t like Greg, his rudeness and his pushy ways but I did warm up to him when his ways gave Rachel the confidence to stand up to her parents. I liked reading how Rachel finally grew a backbone with her parents and how she wanted to be with him even though she didn’t really know who he was.

4.5 Stars! There is Rachel who is a young woman who has been dreaming since she was a little girl about a literary trip through England. She saved for it and decides to go. Her parents, who used to be wealthy and still pretend to be wealthy want her to marry a man that they have arranged. She is not interested. Then there is Greg, who is a rich egotistical man who is on the prowl for a virgin. It's his birthday and he wants to celebrate by taking a woman's cherry. When they meet, she says no and it changes the course of both their lives. Greg peruses her and gets to know her which is something he doesn't typically do. Was it destiny that they should meet? Will her parents get their way and get her home to marry her off? Will she be able to stand up to them? This was a good read, hope you enjoy it.

I received this book free and l am volunteering to leave this review.

This is the 1st book l have read from this author and l was impressed. I will be checking out her other novels.

This book has a light BDSM storyline with romance.

Rachel has been controlled by her mother her whole life, her parents are broke and wanting her to marry Ian to secure their financial future. She is off on a holiday touring England. Greg is a billionaire, and into BDSM, it’s his birthday and he throws a party. Rachel stumbles across his party and he propositions her as he likes to take women’s virginity. He ends up being her tour guide and does everything to get to know her, he is developing feelings for her. Ian and her parents arrive in England, she finally stands up to them but Ian causes them trouble. With drama, great chemistry between Rachael and Greg, and Greg afraid of falling in love, do they get their HEA?
