A Max Life
Max has never quite recovered from the betrayal that led to his divorce. He has difficulty trusting, but with the passage of time he has come to realize he needs a good woman. The problem is that finding one is not easy and worse, finding the right woman seems impossible. Still, Max is drawn to search for the right woman for him. In the process, he will face disappointment and heartache, as well as emotional adventure and misadventure. The question is will he find lasting true love.

I have earned a Master of Fine Arts degree and a Master of Business Administration.
My novels span the following genres: mystery, thriller, contemporary, action adventure (historical), western, romance, and science fiction. I am currently working on my first fantasy novel.

A story of faith
This story is told by Max and is a story of his life. Max owns his own small construction company, has been divorced for 10 years, lost his son to military service, hasn't seen his daughter since the divorce and hasn't dated since then either.
This is a normal man's life. The story talks about God a lot because Max became a Christian 2 years ago. Max goes through tough times looking his son and just when he thinks he can be happy again, tragedy strikes yet again, but through it all Max holds his faith in God. So I think that's really what this story is about.
My one complaint is that the writing seems stiff, not casual.
