All I gave a damn about was my brother. And getting him away from this town. I never expected to run into Grace...again.
She's a single mother with a little girl. And, she's in danger. I never planned for any of this. But one thing's for sure...
No one is laying a d*mn finger on her.

Hustler was an awesome story I couldn't put it down till the end, so Ryan and Grace were high school sweethearts then went there separate ways. They still have attraction to each other plus there chemistry is of the charts, Can say to much it will only spoil the whole story. A must read, I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader copy. Well done Rye & Blake
Ryan Park's life fell apart his senior year of high school when his father was arrested for bank robbery, leaving him to care for his younger brother. Ryan, makes his living the same way his father did, though he has been carefully ingesting the money. His little brother in brilliant, and Ryan is going to be sure he goes to college. All he needs is another big score and he can go lagit. He didn't expect to find Grace, his high school sweetheart working at the bank that is his next target. He didn't expect to feel the same attraction. He didn't expect to fall in love with her all over again. His crew is dangerous and he can't back out. He is going to do everything he can to protect Grace, and her daughter. Great story, fast paced and steamy. great epilogue to wrap up their story. Loved Grace and Ryan. Rye's books never disappoint. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced readers copy of this book. Rye's books are an automatic buy for me. She included a never before published story, Family Night, as a bonus, along with a few of her previously released books.
Family Night 🌟🌟🌟🌟 Piper and Shane were high school sweethearts. The QB and cheerleader. homecoming king and queen. Both with bright futures. She on her way to college to study medicine, her dream to become a surgeon. Him a full ride for a degree in engineering. Life didn't go as planned. Piper is working as a cashier at the local conveniences story, going to school for her nursing degree, caring for her four year old daughter, and fighting for custody against her drug dealer ex. Shane has to drop out of college when his parents died to care for his younger brother and sister. He is struggling to keep A roof over their heads and food on the table. Shane and Piper meet again when she catches his younger brother shoplifting. They fall into each other like they never separated. When Shane gets involved in some illegal dealing in desperation, he stands to loose everything. A great second chance romance. Really felt for both Shane and Piper.
I’m torn on this one. It’s well done. Rye Hart and Blake North are awesome authors on their own; together they’re a force to be reckoned with. The plot is tight and fast-paced, the characters are engaging, and the heat between Grace and Ryan is downright nuclear.
It sounds awesome, and indeed, it really is. My issue stems from the fact that Ryan is… well, a Bad Boy, as we say. I know. We love our bad boys. Shoot, I married one, so I can’t really be judge and jury here. But there’s being a “bad boy” and there’s being a criminal, and as loving and adorable as the character Ryan is in this book, he IS a criminal. There’s a lot to love about Ryan, and I would probably make the same decision Grace makes given the same set of circumstances. That’s why I’m so torn about this story. It’s. just. complicated. *sigh*
So I think you’re going to have to read this one and determine what you would do. Life isn’t an easy set of black and white choices all the time—and no one ever said life was fair. Grace and Ryan both know how unfair and hard life can be. Good thing they believe in second chances. What about you?
Readers curious about heat level and language will want to know that this rates as something you can share with your co-workers. There’s plenty of steamy heat going on with Ryan and Grace—they’re a beautiful couple. You’ll also find a fair amount of mature language since there are some pretty unsavory characters in the story. If these are issues for you, take note. Otherwise, don’t miss this read and make your own determination about their complicated lives.
I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book. I always enjoy second chance romance stories and this one is so good. Grace and Ryan use to date in high school until Grace went off to college. What will happen to the two of them?> They clearly still have feelings for one another. Can Ryan and Grace along with her daughter and his brother get out of the danger that they have found themselves int? You will have to pick up this book and find out. This story was filled with suspense, danger and steamy, hot moments. A well written book with a wonderful HEA!
Hustling may be what has passed through his criminal bloodlines, but mastermind Ryan has plans after the job coming up, that is until he sees a beautiful surprise from his past, Grace the determined, strong-willed women may throw a big wrench in his plans! Sexy sparks whenever they get come within each other's personal spaces, the whirlwind reunion between the bad boy and good girl is an insta all affair- but dangerous, heartbreaking secrets lurk just below the surface, and pasts are ripe for rearing their ugly heads. What will happen to the reunited high school loves when/if the truth comes out? This hot with heart bad boy second chance romance, was a rush of suspense, alpha male protector, and the heartbreaking back and forth decision of what is the right path for the heart in equally terrifying, probably wrong situations. Fiesty, sharp, witty, well-developed characters, along with the twisted, and intriguing, the well-detailed storyline kept me reading this fast mover, all in one sitting! So glad for a change of scenarios 4.5 Stars!
This is a wonderfully written story about Ryan and Grace and their second chance at Love. They were high school sweethearts who end up meeting later in life. Grace is a single mom to a loving little girl, Harper and works at a bank as an assistant manager. She lost her husband while he was serving in the military. Ryan’s father is in prison for 40 years for armed robbery and is raising his younger brother. Ryan and Grace meet one day when Ryan comes to the bank pretending to open an account but really checking out the bank so he can rob it, he is a master mind with this sort of thing. Ryan tells his dad and Grace he is in construction. Ryan is trying to do the right thing but can not walk away from the bad. Being a good man that he is he has his faults. Can Ryan and Grace overcome the obstacles they face and drama to finding happiness? I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
Grace is raising her daughter alone after her husband was killed in the military. She works at the bank to support the two of them. On day Ryan her old high school sweetheart comes in and they talk and he tells her he’s in construction a and would like to see her. Ryan and his younger brother grew up,with a father that robbed banks to support his family. He got caught and is in prison now. Ryan was left to support his brother and himself the only way he knew and now he robs banks. He was casing the bank when he saw Grace. They see each other a few times and her daughter loves him. But will Ryan pull her into his mess or will he walk away to keep her and her daughter safe? I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.
This was a sweet but steamy second chance romance. Grace and Ryan were high school sweethearts who gradually drifted apart when she went off to college. Years later, Ryan’s back in town with his kid brother in tow. Ryan’s been raising him ever since their father was sent to prison. He’s determined that Jason have a better, straight life—college and opportunities. So he plans a last job to ensure that future—a bank job. Grace is a widowed single mother of a delightful daughter, Harper. When they run into each other, that old flame is still there. It’s almost like they never parted it’s so natural. But will Ryan’s secret cost him a future with Grace? Will it put her in harm’s way? A most enjoyable read with dual POVs. I voluntarily reviewed this Advance Reader Copy.
A very well written and captivating story with great storyline and plot. Unexpected twists and turns. Characters well described and develops nicely through the story. Their chemistry is hot and steamy. I like it is written in dual POV, which gives the reader both the thoughts and feelings of the main characters. That makes the story even more emotional and captivating. The twists and turns are so unexpected that they made it worth the read. A story that is an emotional rollercoaster. It is of a nice length. The mix of secrets, trust, second chance, strong characters, drama, criminal elements, love, lust, passion and emotional ups and downs makes it a story worth reading. When opposites attracts.
This second chance romance had plenty of emotion. Ryan and Grace were high school sweethearts that drifted apart. Ryan and his younger brother were dealt a rough hand growing up with their druggie mother leaving them and their father in jail for robbery. Ryan wanted to protect his brother and get him a good education so he would have a chance at a good life rather than the crime he and his father turned to. Ryan was to be involved in one final bank heist but unfortunately Grace who is now widowed with a young daughter works at the bank and their feelings for one another could be his undoing. You couldn’t help but love Ryan. He had such a good heart considering his upbringing. I thoroughly enjoyed this story. I voluntarily read an Advanced Reader Copy of this book
My first time reading two authors work! Usually read only Rye Hart's..but I must said its a pretty good exposure to work of Blake North's! Will definitely check Blake North's works out!
Main male lead and female lead knew each other and were together in high school. However, they have to part ways due to reasons.
Few years later, they crossed each other paths away and their 'love' re-surfaces. As adults, they are now facing what adult-hood faces. Financially and family. Knowing that following his father's footsteps is the wrong path to go, after meeting female lead and her child, he knew what he had to do in order to make the relationship and family last.
Thanks for sharing with us this amazing story, Rye!
This was a good second chance romance with great characters. Ryan has been raising his brother Jason since their father is in jail for red robbery. Ryan has taken care of Jason since he was eight, he is now sixteen. Grace works at City Central Bank and is a single mother . Ryan and Grace dated in high school but Grace left to go to college. This book has secrets, betrayal, surprises and so much more. I read this book in one sitting trying to figure out what would happen next for Ryan and Grace. I thought Rye Hart and Blake North wrote well together and make a great writing team. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
Ryan is a good man caught in a very bad set of circumstances. When he and his brother move back to their old home town, he discovers that he wants a second chance with his high school sweetheart, Grace. Unfortunately, his second chance is about to come into conflict with those bad circumstances. I found that I blew through this book so fast. I was absolutely desperate to find out how it would turn out. The chemistry between Ryan and Grace, and with their families, made for compelling reading. Several of those ‘family’ moments were my favorites in the book. I loved the little plot twist in the end that brings everything together. I received a complimentary advanced copy of this book.
Ryan and Grace's love story is a tad emotional (at least to me), exciting, suspenseful and hot. Their connection has not faltered over the years and with Grace back in his life, Ryan wants to be a better person; for himself, his brother and Grace and her daughter Harper. Grace has had a bit of rough few years and with Ryan back she has hope. But, is this hope for nothing? Will she get her second chance with Ryan? Find out and see how these two spectacular authors will pull you into the story and have you wanting more, even at the last page. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book.
I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book. Second chance are one of my favorite genre’s. Who doesn’t love to cheer for a couple with reunites. Ryan was Grace’s high school sweetheart. His father was known as the towns bank robber. He was responsible for his younger brother Jason. Grace has a daughter Harper and lost her military husband. Harper was such a cute character. I loved their closeness. Amy is Grace’s best friend and she is her rock. They are more like sisters. This book has so many twists and surprises. It kept my attention throughout the book. I loved the explosive chemistry between Grace and Ryan. I recommend this book.
You just can’t help falling in love with Ryan, hustler or not he is definitely good people but dealt a hand at such a young age that it’s all he can do to as he has Jason to look after.
That scene in the park sitting on the bridge had me in tears, as clearly our children are our guiding angels as they can tell good from bad, unlike Grace’s mom who had made up her mind decades ago and not taken into consideration the life that Ryan had led up until then.
Ryan is one lucky guy, that is all I can say as I did not see any way out of that but Rye and Blake definitely surprised me with the reveal at the end.
It never ceases to amaze me how cycles tend to repeat themselves. Ryan isn't a criminal by nature but then again neither was his father but each man felt the drive to do whatever it took to provide for those that they love but when Ryan's choices start impacting someone he never thought would come back into his life he realises that his priorities may just need to change in a big way. The characters are so brilliantly created. They have depth and a vibrancy that you cannot help but fall for and the story will melt your heart, have your heart in your mouth and a romance that will knock our socks off all in perfect balance.
I LOVED this book from Rye Hart and Blake North!! The true meaning of second, and maybe even third, chances. The connection between Ryan and Grace nearly lit the pages on fire. Then there are the secrrts, lies and danger. This book kept me on the edgr of my seat. And the ending? Nearly had me in happy tears. Great book! I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy of this book. Hero, Ryan = 5/5 Heroine, Grace = 5/5 Chemistry = 5/5 Sex = 5/5 Plot = 4/5 Mystery = 3/5 Action = 3/5 Darkness = 2/5 Humor = 2/5 POV = dual Would I recommend this book = yes Would I re-read this book = yes Would I read future books by this author = yes
I loved everything about this story. A second chance for highschool sweethearts. A little girl who lost her daddy to the war, and never really got to know him. Ryan, who lost his father at eighteen to the prison system, left to raise his brother who was eight at the time. He moves back home to pull one last heist that will set him and his brother up. As he's casing the bank, up walks Grace, his highschool sweetheart. He was her first everything. They fall for each other again, and Ryan must make a choice, the job he worked up the plan for or the woman who he's falling for again and her little girl who he's also falling hard for. Loved the HEA ending. Another awesome story for Rye Hart!
What a fantastic second chance romance by Rye Hart and Blake North!!! Hustler will have you hooked from the first page right till the end. Ryan has has given up on his dreams to raise his brother since his father was arrested. To be able to provide for his brother, Ryan has followed in his fathers foot steps and is a bank robber. Ryan meets up with his first love from highschool Grace a single mother and widow. The attraction between the two is as strong as before. But there is a small problem.... Garce works at the bank that Ryan and his crew are ready to rob!!!! I voluntarily read an advanced reader copy of this book
Ryan and Grace have a second chance at love, but they've both grown in different ways. Is their love strong enough to withstand the secrets they're keeping? I wasn't sure how this was going to end - Ryan knew what he was doing was wrong, but he didn't know how to get out of his situation. This wasn't a heavily violent story, but there are plenty of criminal elements involved. I really admired Grace for her courage, she was one tough cookie! The twists were solidly engaging, and the way it ended was great. Well done!
Ryan has plans to rob a bamk but his old sweetheart now works there. Ryan is casing a bank under toe pretense of opening an account when he encounters Grace his high school sweetheart who is now the assistant manager at this branch. They rekindle their romance and Ryan starts having doubts but he is dealing with partner that are not following the plan. As the time gets closer Ryan realizes that he is walking into a disaster and doesn't want to see disappointment in Grace's eyes. A story I found hard to get into but which grew on me the more I read.
I am a fan of Rye Hart’s book, and this is another well written and interesting story. I just found it hard to like the main character (Ryan); although he was kind, generous and thoughtful, he was also a criminal, who didn’t seem to have any remorse or desire to change, which made him hard to really engage with. It was however a good book with plenty of intrigue and action, and Grace and Harper were wonderful characters and completely adorable!!

There is Ryan who moves back into his home town and is raising his younger brother while his dad is in jail for robbery. His brother Jason is now sixteen and he has been taking care of him for eight years. Then there is Grace, his old high school sweetheart who now works at the local bank and is a single mom. This book has lots of surprises, secrets and betrayal that effects the outcome. The book hooks you and keeps you reading. Good main and secondary characters and storyline. Enjoy!!

📚I am honestly and voluntarily reviewing an Advanced Reader’s Copy of this book 📚 This is a quick, sexy, second chance read!! Ryan and Grace were sweethearts in high school, she went off to college, and he was left to raise his brother the only way he knew how. Fast forward, and Ryan is casing the bank where Grace works, preparing to rob it. One thing leads to another and the story unfolds.... Both are strong characters, perhaps not always making the best decisions, but the best at the time. They are well written, compelling characters, and have great chemistry. Fun, fast read.
Ryan is struggling to raise his brother after his father went to jail. Grace is raising her daughter after the death of her husband. They were once childhood sweethearts. Will Grace give Ryan a chance? Will Ryan be able to find a career?
Loved this second chance romance. Honestly, even with the job he had, I loved Ryan's character. He was providing for his brother and accepted Harper very quickly. I loved the Grace stood up for herself when it came to others opinions and how she was a mother. Great read!

This was such a sweet, but heart wrenching story. After his father was arrested and indicted on robbery charges, Ryan finds himself with an 8 year old to raise and no idea how to do it. He begins to lead the same life as his father, but wants out. When getting details for the next job, he runs into his high school flame and falls for her all over again, but he’s in the middle of planning a heist for the bank where she works. Will he get everything he wants just to lose it all just as quickly? This is a definite must read. I’m voluntarily reviewing an advanced reader copy of this book.
This is a good story, Grace and Ryan were high school sweethearts, but went separate ways after. He turned to crime to look after his younger brother after his father went to prison. Grace is a widowed young mother to a delightful little girl, Harper. The chemistry between them is sizzling, she makes him want to be better and he makes her feel loved and cherished.
Well-written story, wonderful characters, even the secondary characters made the story.
Rye Hart does such an amazing job. And this time along with Blake North made this a fantastic second chance romance. When Ryan comes back into town to do this last “job”, he never thought he’d run into Grace again- his high school sweetheart. But when she finds out about what it is he is doing will she still feel the same way about him? Can he fix this without her hating him & him having to go to prison?
